Posted 2 months agoits been a bit since i made a new journal, but wanted to say a few things.
1, this year has been alright, up and down like usual. feels like more downs then ups but oh well.
2, I havent really been using this site that much, just like a weekly art thing and are you all still cool with that? I think having a schedule like that is good for me but idk if its too slow or something.
3, supporter sites like patreon and subscribestar are still active! just mainly doing raffles there and that. same with commissions, still open!
4, I will be purging some of the older stuff on this account, just doing some clean up. I dont think anything really that dramatic just like wips and alerts and stuff like that
I wanna get back into the swing of things here, since it feels like ive been showing some neglect and feel bad about it.

thank you all for making 2024 a good year, all the support means a lot to me. now for the future in 2025 i have a few plans
1) more interaction and rewards for sbs and patreon - last year I started those sites and they have been helping me out a lot with finances and that. this year I wanna get into the groove there. mainly monthly raffles and pin ups/ illustrations that the supporters can vote for. aswell as an animation every 3 months. I did 2 last year and both were really fun to do so i wanna do more.
2) continue commissions - Commissions are my main source of income atm, so i wanna continue doing them, and also they are fun to do! gives more ideas then waht i wouldnt have previously :P
3) start on an alt account for more extreme artworks - I've been wanting to explore more with some artworks and that, but like i feel like this isnt the best place or audience for it, like there would be overlap but i think it would be easier if i just make an alt for it, to seperate the audiences and that.
4) make some one shot comics - comics are fun, i have a few ideas in my head that i wanna do but just need to execute them.
those are my main plans, dont worry ill try to upload here once a week like normal, lets have a great 2025!!!

Posted a year agounfortunately, i have to take a pause on commissions. mainly because i found out that the site ive been using for it has been without staff or admin for almost a year I think. so im forced to pause my source of income until i can find a replacement. in the meantime any support would be worth the world. I have a subscribestar set up, aswell as a patreon with exclusive content, aswell as ko fi if anyone wanna make donations. sorry for any inconveniences.

Posted a year agoI've been uploading exclusive content there. I've added a new tier there for $3, which gives basic access to the finished illustrations and alts. plus im going to do an art raffle for $5 and up supporters every month starting next month! the support will mean a lot to me, and allow me to make better and more art and not having to rely on commissions for income.

Posted a year agoHello all! Sorry for no update at the beginning of the month, I was saving it for the anniversary of this page!
It doesnt feel like a year, but it has been one. A lot has happened in my life that wouldn't have happened without this page! I thank everyone who watched, favourited, commented, or even looked at the artworks that I have made over the year. My art has improved greatly imo and I want to continue that trend! Dw I still plan on doing the art raffle, just got a lot of commissions atm, which are still available to anyone interested!

Another month passed. last month I was feeling really bad mentally so i didnt do much, but I hit a few milestones! 200 followers on twitter and 100 watches on here! I did an art raffle on twitter that just concluded, but I'm going to do something similar here in a little bit.
I havent opened a subscribestar page yet, since i dont have anything ready for it yet and my headspace was bad as stated before lol.
Commissions are still open, I can draw anything, just send a note if interested!

Posted a year agoApril came and went, im a year older and feeling pretty nice.
April was a fun month but lets make may funnier!
commissions have been successful this month but ive been behind on some in my opinion.
im planning on opening a subscribe star page this month. mainly for animations and bigger projects like that. The animations specificly, im planning on having a vote on the topic of the animation, so then I can do stuff for people without having it be a massive price lol. I might open more options for commissions as well, mainly low price pfp stuff. that can be fun.
sorry that all the updates this month is about finance and that lmao. but I do have an animation in the works which i am very much liking >;3

Posted a year agoHello once again! march is upon us! feb has been a pretty successful month i think, since i finished all my past comms now! I want to open them again in the near future, since its a win win for everyone involved!
A little update tho is that im starting uni again for the year! This means that things will slow down, back to when i first started. I'm very excited to see how things go from here on out!

Posted 2 years agowe're already a month in the year! time flies by pretty quickly, time for another quick update!
I started comms the other day. so far its been a success in my opinion! Will definitely continue after this wave of comms, also might increase slots available at once when im confident enough.
I said last month that I would make monthly animations. I still want to do this but I didnt get a chance to do it last month. sorry for that lmao. Its mainly a thing i want to do to get better, so its not that high on my priority list.
Also out of curiousity what type of art do people like me making? I feel like I change and shift each month what stuff I make, so letting me know what people want would be nice!

December felt very short tbh but it was fun. I got some big projects done which is good and some other stuff. But in this january I have a few goals that I want to get done.
1) start commissions.
I have been saying i would start them for a while lmao but this time im sure! I'm confident with my art now and have organised the business stuff. Im not too sure on prices yet. my idea for right now is $25 usd for flat colour with +$5 for shading and highlights. comics would probably cost a certain amount per panel or page. im not too sure yet, but I will figure it out! any suggestion on this anyone is welcome to message me about it. idm.
2) another animation.
I did an animation for new years and i think i got an animation itch now ngl. I would like to try another one this month which i hope would look good. so some of my art time would probably be on that.
and on requests...
I'm gonna be trying to reduce the amounts that I am getting and stuff. Mainly because I want to do more comms since It helps me financially. Its not like requests are 100% off the table but gonna be rarer. Sorry if this dissapoints.

I'll start with apologising for the requests that ive been getting. I felt like my art was going backwards half the time, but I will complete the ones that i have to a level that i am satisfied with.
So for now i am not accepting any more requests, until i have finished the ones that I already have. And for the future I don't think ill do anymore comic requests, unless we have history or I'm very interested in it. I have a problem that I dont really say no a lot since I dont like making people upset.
Requests were mainly a way for me to learn how to interact with clients and for me to spread my name out there.
I will be away for a little bit this month, mainly after the 13th for a few days.
