Posted 14 years agoWell after about three weeks( and $270 ) I'm back!!! Well I had to replace my hard drive, unfortunately Geek Squad couldn't retrieve any data from my old one as it was damaged. So I'm starting over and getting my laptop back to what it was, hopefully. But I'm back and online now! Hope everyone is well and missed you all!

Posted 14 years agoWell it's been a long time since I made a journal, and a lot has happened to me since then. It's almost been 10 months since me and my wonderful boyfriend met, and it's been quite a bumpy ride. He's almost 9 yrs older than me but we've gotten passed that a long time ago. He's so sweet and caring, right now he's actually helping me go back to school!
Oh, I'm going to college! At least for 1-2 yrs....Tired of my job and everything about it. Don't wanna go in most of the time, call in just to get one more day/night away from it. Course that just gets me in trouble when I do go back, but oh well. So after 6 yrs...6 long years......I'm going to college. Right now I'm just focusing on my basics and plan to transfer to a larger university.
I turned 24 exactly one month ago, was a great night too.
And to everyone who wondered how I was.......if any, I'm doing ok. Sorry I haven't been around much or send messages as often. I hope everyone is doing well, I have been reading ya'lls journals and have seen good and bad times. Wish I could meet you guys and hug ya myself

Posted 15 years agoHAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!Yes folks it's that time of year again. Ghouls, goblins, and tacky costumes galore.....and getting the sh*t scared out of your pants! And what better way than to go to a haunted mansion for some scary house you pay to get in, and only slightly jump with each step?
Well last night I had my first official date with Robert, and it was amazing! We went to Borders and walked around chatting about music and artists, then to the movies where we saw Easy A which is awesome and you guys should see it! Then afterwords we went to California Pizza Kitchen, which is pretty nice and has an incredible selection of pizza and pasta, then to his apartment where we sat and chatted awhile. Later his friends came and we drove downtown for Ripley's Haunted Mansion, which was pretty scary but not too much. In all honesty if you look hard enough and don't get too scared, you could see the doors and windows guys will pop out of. I liked it and what's funny is I had to drag my date and his friend through the mansion, and his friend is this big buff personal trainer, so imagine me having to shove this guy forward or him cowering behind me cause he's caught up in the terror XD
But anyway it was a great night, I got out and had fun and met his friends who are pretty cool and laid back. What kinda stressed me out and I told Robert this, was how he paid for everything! The movies, the pizza, and getting into the HM. I cannot stress how much of a gentleman he is and he kept telling me not to worry about it. I swear he treats me right and doesn't expect any favors or anything; he just wants to have a good time and get to know me, and maybe make out and cuddle ^.^
All in all I really like this guy, and he's told me how he likes me too. We find each other handsome, sweet, and we just seem to click. I know it's too soon for anything to start right now but I do want to see where we go from here and just wanna spend more time together. Hopefully soon, if my mom won't freak out too much, I can stay the night with him :#)

It's been a long time since I made a journal, although not much has happened to me since then......well actually yes there has ^.^ Since probably May or June I downloaded the Grindr app for my iPod and have chatted with a lot of guys. Some almost halfway around the world, one guy in the UK and even one in Taiwan. Anyway so many guys I chat with usually ask to hang out sometime so we can meet in person, so I took a big chance and met one guy, Jason.
He's 28, going to college and studying English Literature, and hopes to be a teacher someday. He also thinks I'm so cute, funny, and sweet; plus recently we were naked together and he thinks I'm hot >#<U Well nothing much will happen from that, since he plans on moving soon he doesn't think it's fair to have someone wait for him and a relationship isn't in his plans right now. So now any guy attention he needs is for stress relief >>U
But to the best part so far, I just met another guy from Grindr, whom I chatted and talked with a few times, and took a really big chance by going to HIS apartment. His name is Robert(such a wodnerful name ^^), he's 31 and his birthday is next month(I loves them older >:3), and he's a Social Worker. He was in a 10 yr relationship which ended pretty well and they remain friends, so now he's looking to move on and guess what? We've found each other......silly no? ^^
Last night we hung out again at his apartment, all he kept going on and on about me. How I was so nice, good looking, funny, and how he couldn't belief I was single. Then we....^///^ we made out! Oh my God, I've never kissed like that before! He touched me like I touched him, caressed like I caressed him, felt his cheek to mine and....*shivers* He considers himself a cub as far as his body and hair, and believe me he is gorgeous!
Even when we just sat on his couch we watched tv, ate a pizza and had some ice cream. Just being there next to him holding his hand and our fingers intertwined....it felt so wonderful, so happy. *sigh* I hate that I work nights cause then I would hardly see him, but we still talk on the phone and this Saturday we're going out to........THE ZOO! XD Its a date right? Doesn't have to be someplace that's over the top, I just wanna have fun and spend as much time together as possible with him. He's told me many times how he likes being with me and I told him how I liked being with him.......<3
Anyway that's all the exciting things in my life right now....

Posted 15 years agoI......got.......BIRTH BY SLEEP!!!!! OMG this game is all I hoped it was and oh boy I'm not even done yet! Well I finished Terra's story in less than a day, mostly because I got spoiled with his story and skipped his cutscenes. But now I'm like halfway through Ventus' story, just messin around leveling up and exploring the new features like the Command Boards which are fun once you experience them.
My dad got remarried about two weeks ago, I'm happy for him and hope it works out. While he and his new wife were away in Louisiana for their honeymoon, I watched their apartment for about 4 days. It was ok, having some place to myself and being in a somewhat new surroundings. Well Friday my mom called during lunchtime, like around 11:30, to say hi. Well it was almost a 20 min conversation about how much she and me stepdad miss me, and I was just gone for one day! That made me realize that although I get frustrated with wanting to be on my own and wanting my own place, I'm damn lucky to have parents that are so used to me being home they miss me for even being gone a while. ;_;
Work is.......well......>.>.......eh it's ok. Been lucky to have new workers come in to help out and ease the load but still there's the adjustment to getting them into how we work. And then there are our managers......sigh. While I understand we have to stay organized and on the ball, it's frustrating how nearly everyday they complain about the same thing. Especially our department's lead who I used to work with, truth be told I was one of few who would work with him because of how anal he was. I know I have to do more to keep our dep. up but after a while you get tired of the same complaints and deep down you're frustrated enough to actually not do what they say.
Texas is underwater now, big system moved in yesterday and flooding is nearly state-wide! Now all that rain is heading north so......good luck Oklahoma ^^'

Posted 15 years agoIts mah birthday! I am now 23 yrs old and what a nice day I had, sarcasm intended (somewhat). For the first half I worked like crazy until 10:15 am, that's almost 3 hrs over just that morning and I've accumulated 37.15 hrs in just one week! It's a good thing I'm off until next Tuesday cause I'm too tired and too stressed to keep going for this long.
Back to the upside of this day. I took a nap cause I planned on dinner with my mother and grandmother at Maggianos, an incredible Italian restaurant with excellent food and service. I ordered the Lasagna and OMG it was awesome! My mom ordered the Chicken and Spinach Tortellini and that was just as wonderful. After dinner was dessert, a Apple Crumble and some Lemon Moon Cookies. Mm-hmm!
After dinner we stopped by Gamestop cause I wanted some things, I got Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Lego Harry Potter so I get to test those out right now :D
Now for the best part. About 3 weeks ago my dad bought me my present and wanted to surprise me but I found out accidentally that he got me a 37 inch Samsung LCD TV! I just set it up and connected my Wii and Blu-Ray player to it and I'm in heaven from the clarity and brightness of my new tv!

The Last Airbender: My Review

I'm just back from the theaters where I watch The Last Airbender in 3D and I must say....I was slightly disappointed.
To keep things simple I'll point out my thoughts on what was wrong with it. First thing was the mispronunciation of many names which irked me cause Shyamalan was "inspired" by the series. Another was the pacing of the story, it was moving quickly and dropped random facts like nothing. One thing I believe was there wasn't enough time for the movie to fit more of the series into it. Characters came and went like nothing, most people would get lost trying to understand the story, and it was such a departure from the show that fans would get upset by it.
On to what I enjoyed. The action scenes were incredible, the effects were realistic and almost felt real. Watching the martial arts was exciting and truly reminded me of what made the show so unique. Plus the ending was very dramatic; Aang pulling up the wall of water and the sort of cliff hanger that ties into the next Book.
All in all if I had to grade this "movie" I suppose it deserves at least a B-

Posted 15 years agoWow, it's been a month since my last journal. Time flies huh? Been a rough couple of days at work, a lot of time spent pushing my ass harder each day with no time to rest or take breaks. Sunday night I worked 12am-11am nonstop and still have about 4 hrs overtime, which my bosses bitch about. I work tonight but since it's a "heavy" night I'll end up staying past 8am unless we get done fast or our truck is small.
For KH news! Birth by Sleep comes out Sept. 7th and already we've seen tidbits of gameplay and voice acting that will satisfy us for a long time. Word is Christian Bale is voicing Terra! And With Mark Hamill as Master Eraqus its a Batman frenzy! Bigger News Two new games were announced to appear later: KH Re:Coded and KH3-D! Re:Coded is a complete remake of the recent Japanese mobile game and will be released onto the DS with stunning graphics and authentic cutscenes. Bigger and unexpected news was the unveiling of KH3-D, and it's a brand new game, no remake! So far we know it's specifically made for the 3DS, the next incarnation of DS, and will feature Sora and Riku as playable characters! So hopefully more info will be released as to what these games will treat us to and how these games will tie into the next sequel.
June 2nd PEOPLE! The Last Airbender comes out Friday and I for one am looking forward to it. Finally we get to see Aang on the bigsceen and all his badass Avatar moments XD As a fan of the show I do have certain expectations that the movie will have to uphold but I'm not being bitchy like many fans are right now as far as the cast's ethnicity and the Asian only cultures that made up the whole show. Shows and books get revamped and redone when changing into movies, so that part all bitching fans can just go bend a fireball up their holes.
I got Grindr on my iPod and been chatting with some guys for a while now. It feels weird getting hit on by guys I've never met before, some like half the globe away, who all want pics of my ass or penis. Then they find it such a turn off that I don't have any or won't share any, and won't talk to me anymore. Makes me wonder sometimes how superficial and unattached people get nowadays. But of course, I've also found some guys also like to talk and talk about anything. It sucks I don't have a better wi-fi otherwise I'd chat more but oh well. Then I fell bad sometimes cause when I chat with guys I run out of things to say and come out boring. Bad enough I don't attract people I socialize with physically but now electronically? Scary and humiliating.
I'm gonna delete my Myspace cause I find it no longer of use to me. I mainly used it to look Him up but now there's no one on anymore, well anyone I know. Nowadays people progress on Facebook, Twitter, or Skype and I don't so...bleh. No one cares anyway, only messages I get are from either A) single women looking for "friends" or B) local bands looking for nameless fans. Gonna go through what I wanna save and just cancel my account.

America will finally release the English version of the much anticipated prequel to the KH series, and once again will house spectacular actors to play as the main characters.
Mark Hamill
Willa Holland (from Gossip Girl) as Aqua
Jesse McCartney (well duh) as Ventus & Roxas
Leonard Nimoy (Dr Spok) as Master Xehanort
and returning champ James Woods as Hades.
No word yet as who Mr. Hamill will play but I speculate he will voice Terra, I think he can play him well.

Posted 15 years agoThis week will be a long one. At work my leader is leaving our store for another so that leaves me running the department myself and more work to do. As happy as I am he's on to a better job within the company, I'm really scared about taking on more work to help fill in.
In the past 3 months my stepdad's father has had 6 surgeries and is now as we speak dying. It will be hard this week.
Rained so much here and still expected to rain even more. But that doesn't stop people from driving like idiots. If you've watched the news a woman drove past barricades and ended up getting swept away. Paramedics were able to rescue her and treat her of any wounds. But she ended up getting arrested because she ignored the barricades which endangered her own stupid self. Now anyone who does the same won't just be charged fees but arrested cause it's reckless driving.
I'm seriously thinking of deleting my Myspace account. There's no one for me to talk to, people I used to talk to occasionally don't respond anymore, and few times I.....I don't think Myspace is for me anymore.

Random Journal 8 (5/1/10) Warning: Whining DX
Posted 15 years agoBeen really busy lately working in frozen foods. Not really glamorous but not that bad either, only downside is because of my new Lead, who people this is an ass, my 'co-workers' won't come to help when we're behind. So some internal problems there that aren't getting resolved but oh well.
Summer is coming and for Texas that means hot weather, and the weather has been betting sultry.
Was flipping through the TV and caught a interesting scene from "American Beauty". Chris Cooper playing the homophobic father who kicks his son out for being gay, then has a encounter himself. I find it interesting that TBS would show two guys kissing but then edit out the insults he makes. Although his character does intrigue me, the closeted marine father, mentally and sexually.
He's gonna be a father......Shane is gonna have a baby. And this was revealed a month ago. It hit me hard. First my chest felt drilled and heavy, and then their wedding photo popped up.......and.......it almost killed me.

Posted 15 years ago*Hey guys how's it going? If you guys were wondering I've been really busy this past weekend and wasn't on much. Reason being there were two deaths in my family last week, one on each side of my family. On my Dad's side was my Great-Grandmother who died at the old age of 93. She was a sweet women and always remembered everyone. She was the last remaining of 7 kids, and had 9 children of her own (the first to pass away was my Grandma very enarly two years ago). On my Mom's side was her aunt, who suffered from breast cancer for years. She was married twice: 3 kids from her first marriage, she looked after her best friend's husband and 3 children and loved them as her own.
Since it was two different families the first was a Baptist service and the other Catholic, and wow what a difference. A Baptismal service was so....loud. I know people are church goers but you talk about 'Amen' and 'Oh yeah', and IN SPANISH! So I sit there trying to maintain some hearing and bewilderment as my 2 great uncles gave the service loud and proud. Maybe it's because I'm Catholic and used to a calmer and simper service that I felt a little out of place but still I could feel the enthusiasm. As I'm not very religious in the first place, hearing so much talk about Jesus and the big Christianity/Catholicism subject kinda has me questioning religion a bit.
*As far as work goes I'm working very hard, but now in the Frozen department. I think it's a upgrade, since it's technically less and on a ratio to normal grocery stocking it's the same time to stock. The main reason I think I was put there was because no one else wanted to work alongside the Frozen Leader as he's is loud, outgoing but can be anal at times. He's a good guy and a hard worker but you do need a lot of patience for him. But its all good >.>;
*And for the stories: dead halt. My creativity is there and sprouting ideas but turning that into actual work isn't going well. I blame it on my still confused and torn heart, over Shane and blah blah blah and the same excuse used the millionth time. But people know it take times to get over someone and I'm the lazy one who still kicks myself ^^'
*Game News: After much consideration and many rave reviews I finally caved and purchased Heart Gold & Soul Silver and having a good time. I've only played SS mostly cause I traded to get all 3 starters so my roster now is: Bayleef, Quilava, Croconaw, Togetic, and Pidgeotto. My previous Togepy came in handy during my battle against Morty of Ecruteak and his Ghost pokemon. Togepy knew: Yawn, Charm, Extrasensory, and Metronome-was at lvl 19 and managed against his lvl 25 Gengar! So I like it and loving the new features.
Plus intrigued by the announcement of Pokemon Black & White which will come out this fall. As far as graphic go these two will go further than any previous game, made jam packed with stunning 3D!

Posted 15 years agoWell with the Princess & the Frog out my parents went and bought it on Blu-ray, and I have fallen in love with it all over again. The beautiful and fluid animations, the fun and addictive music, and it's rich characters; all just as wonderful even on Blu-ray.
+ Very excited Beauty & the Beast is coming out again this fall, on 'Diamond Edition'
Well FMA: Brotherhood is catching up fast to the manga. So far things don't look too good for the Elric brothers, but things do take big turns in this series so waiting is worth it to see what happens next. Plus secretly cheering for my 2 fav chimeras, Darius and Heinkel, so they live and someday get married and have hot, sweaty, passionate, furry love!
Now to what's new: I got a iPod Touch. My mom gave it to me as a 'thank you' gift for working so hard and helping out. That and she found it on QVC as one big bundle coming with: rubber cases, screen protectors, AC adapter, FM tuner, and headphones. So now I'm browsing through apps and filing down all my music into a 8BG player (to my 30GB of music).
+Downloading every episode of Brotherhood, but they're all mkv files and require converting for proper iPod playing experience. Although Real Player can convert files, it can't play mkv so now I'm hunting all over the internet for free conversions that don't come with 15 or 30 day trials. Help would be appreciated <3

Disneymania 7 Review [Random Journal 6 (3/12/10)]
Posted 15 years agoReleased on March 9th was another of my favorite music series that combines classic and notable Disney songs performed by popular, well-received artists; the Disneymania saga continues with #7! Bought on iTunes yesterday and replayed like 30 times XP at work, so yeah I find this album very enjoyable and would recommend to any other Disney fan. Here's the tracklist plus my personal rank on each song.
1. I Just Can't Wait to Be King from The Lion King | Allstar Weekend - B
I'm not a big fan of The Lion King but do enjoy the songs and find this rendition OK. I don't know the band but find them rather good, they introduced this song to a light rock/pop mix and did pretty well.
2. Trust In Me from The Jungle Book | Selena Gomez - A
Oddly enough this was my favorite of the album. I find it very appealing that today's artists are going further back to the older, more classic movies and Ms. Gomez really nailed this. Sweet and seductive was the main tone for this song and her singing + the music truly knock it out of the ballpark.
3. Real Gone from Cars | Honor Society - A-
This is really reminiscent of Sheryl Crow's version from the movie, including the attitude and rock feeling. Not to be missed if you guys enjoyed the movie version.
4. If I Never Knew You from Pocahontas | Tiffany Thornton - B
As much as I do love this song I think this version wasn't well performed. Ms. Thornton does indeed have a strong and eloquent voice I think this wasn't one of her best. This song if best performed by a duet, esp when they overlap during one sequence and Ms. Thornton skips the end by a tad.
5. Stand Out from A Goofy Movie | Mitchel Musso - A
I knew right away where this song came from, although I never fully seen the movie. It has this obvious presence that this song 'stands out' and it does from the other songs. You guys WILL enjoy this track.
6. Good Enough from The Wild | KSM - B+
Never seen the movie and never heard this song before but since it was originally sung by Lifehouse this has to be a good one, xp. This is very well done and sounds like it can connect to almost anyone who hears this.
7. Little Wonders from Meet the Robinsons | Savannah - A-
One awesome song. PERIOD! Movie was wonderful, I can't believe I didn't remember the song @///@ Well performed, connects to the heart somehow by the simple yet imaginative feeling to it.
8. Under the Sea from The Little Mermaid | Booboo Stewart - B
Hmm...I really do love this song but this version wasn't really the best there has been.
9. When She Loved Me from Toy Story 2 | Bridgit Mendler - B+
Another of my favorites because it's story is so sad. As good as this was I feel it was a bit rushed and doesn't convey it's emotion as well. But still do enjoy it.
10. Her Voice from the Broadway version of The Little Mermaid | Drew Seeley - A
I am so glad the artists are going further out to even the Broadway versions of the Disney movies, so hearing this was incredible. There's a hint of jazz to this but maintains it's pop aura, so you guys WILL enjoy this.
11. Bella Notte from Lady and the Tramp | Ruby Summer - A-
Another of my absolute favorite classic songs, and find this rendition excellent. From the vocals right down to the instruments it radiates it's romantic soul and keeps you thoroughly on the tips of sweet bliss.
12. Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid | Anna Maria Perez de Taglé - B
Well this was another OK song. I understand how artists want their own versions to redoing songs and this one is very different to other versions of this song. All-in-all this was still a good song.
13. What I've Been Looking For from High School Musical | Alyson Stoner - A
Our little Xion has her own singing career! XP Performed by the lovely Ms. Stoner she really does convey heart and hope in this song. Although I'm not a fan of HSM this was a great song and truly enjoy this. You guys go and listen now!
14. The Gift of a Friend from Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure | Demi Lovato - A
I find Ms. Lovato's voice a gem and her sweet soul even shows in her singing. This song does invoke the power of friendship and I just love it. Plus the many fiddles are a plus ^^
15. Hakuna Matata from The Lion King | Debby Ryan - B
Not sure what to say.......It's not bad, no not at all. Just feel it could've been a bit better.

Posted 15 years agoFunny how certain animes get so popular it gets redone over and over again, until you loose track and need days to get caught up ><' Well the same has been done with one of my very favs, Fullmetal Alchemist, and this time it's very close to the manga itself. Not that the 1st version wasn't any good, its what made me like it in the first place, but now the new Brotherhood series has been out for a while (going on 44 episodes ><') and in the second day I've caught up to #34! Really great animation in this one, the many OPs and Endings were spectacular.
Well after a long time I've been brainstorming on my writing, and started a new one but it's human though (sorry guys <3) It's about one of my biggest fetishes, but I've been writing and editing little by little for about two weeks. I've also been considering redoing my Anthros Series, to try and get a better start on the story and characters. Working on a proper bio paper too, to kinda explain their back stories and powers, as well as the mythology and lore of the Anthros world. Be sure to check back for that ^^
I know I rant and whine about my troubles, I think it's to further gain attention from you guys and to be self-loathing for the sake of being pathetic. It's my faults I bring out to be the sad victim I claim to be. But still...even with all my faults and all my whining, it you guys that see the best in me. We haven't had the chance to meet yet, but all of you I talk to everyday I consider my friends. And for all the support you give when I need it, all the kind words you speak when I'm down, and for tolerating my random hugs I thank you one and all
