I'm in the midst of trying to save up money for a possible move. Me and my friend have been harassed by our roommate about the littlest things for months now. We had been doing okay since we weren't talking to her but now it seems like she wants to try and assert herself again, break the peace in the household. She doesn't work so she's basically home all the time and despite that, she barely takes care of her cats. The basement is littered with cat shit because she won't bother to clean their other litter box. One of them doesn't even bother staying in her room anymore.

The brunt of it has been directed towards my friend because my asshole roommate is trans phobic, fat phobic, and ageist. She's made it very clear that our age difference somehow makes us inferior to her, a woman with two degrees who can't hold a job because she causes trouble for everyone around her. Meanwhile, me and my friend work on a regular basis; I'm working two jobs while I do storyboarding on my off time. My friend is currently in the midst of looking for another job since their current one may disappear due to lack of funding (it's a nonprofit).

So they're currently raising money and I'm trying to hold onto as much as I can after a successful art show. If she could move out instead, I'd be overjoyed. Yeah, we'd need to find another roommate but we already have people lined up to take over her room.

Anyway, life's been stressful for the last year and some change. I'd like to live in a quiet place with decent people someday.

I main Zenyatta right now but I should probably try out someone else for once. Maybe Junkrat...

Another year older and another day closer to a new life out in Cali. I still have to take some summer classes but I've already been accepted to my school of choice. Right now, I'm just excited that I'll be moving to a whole new environment. I am worried about where I'll be living due to the limited housing they have but maybe I'll get lucky. However, I think if I could find a better full time job, I would stay here for a while.

I want to get a job in art at some point because I'm worried how I'll be able to afford a living out in California. I also don't want my half-sister to keep my furniture when I leave. I'd rather stay but I know I'd never be able to finish my degree without starting over if I went to a regular university. And, unfortunately, a lot of programs I'd love to do or job I'd like to take require you have a degree.

College is super expensive but it does open some doors for people who aren't going into a trade skill. I'm optimistic but I also worry a lot. Hoping it'll be easier than I expect when the time comes.

Since Sunday, I've been feeling pretty great! I haven't stopped making art for days now and it feels incredible!

I want to use photoshop but the last time I even tried, my computer blue screened! And minutes before that I had been trying to play Binding of Isaac, which is a game I rarely had problems with until the past month or so, and it crashed trying to retrieve my save file. I know it's probably my hard drive but I honestly don't have the money to deal with this right now.

I really just want a new computer that already has what I need. That or I buy new parts for my current laptop.
But looking at prices for a new hard drive and then more ram to run the hard drive... it just seems like a lot.

Anyone have any advice???

I feel like I've put myself in another bad living situation. So far, I've had to deal with a needy roommate who gets upset whenever I do things without them and having to clean EVERYTHING. I wish I could've found my own place but now I can barely afford rent again because they cut my hours at work. I'm not sure how it'll be once the other one comes back as well but so far, I'm not looking forward to it.

If I can get a steady, full time job I'll be so happy. I like working because it's helped with my depression but I don't like working where I'm not told anything. And my boss does not communicate with anyone unless it's her husband.
I'm looking into some jobs right now though so hopefully I get something in the next few months.

In happier news, I got a scholarship for a sequential arts class I've wanted to take! I'm so excited for classes to start again. I don't like staying inside all day and it's depressing watching my roommate sit in front of the TV and watch Netflix for hours.

Anyway, I'll be posting sketches or something sometime soon. Until then, stay frosty.

Recently, I just haven't had any interest in drawing him and it's becoming increasingly
difficult to just remember what he looks like. So instead, I'm sticking with what I
know and that's my LinePlay avatar. She's a cute white tiger who likes to dress well!
It's much more fun than trying to figure out what a fu dog looks like and how to interpret it.

I'm so done with school right now but soon it'll be Christmas.
At least this is the last week though. I'll be glad to have the chance to
possibly beat FFXII or KH 1 on Expert. If you have a steam account and
want to play a game or two over the break, hit me up. I'm planning on
doing nothing but relaxing for the next two weeks. Afterwards it'll be back to work.
I'm trying to get more scholarships but I know I'll have to take out some loans to avoid
putting my mom through the hassle of taking out more loans for me.
It's going to be a hectic semester next year...

Moving back into the dorms today =0 I've feeling pretty depressed this past month but I think getting back to school will definitely help. I haven't really seen any of my friends over the summer and I don't really have any means of transportation so I've basically been at home for about three months straight. I should at least be able to finish my animation and get it turned in before the end of the week. I can't wait to be away from home again...

I always have shit luck when it comes to commissions nowadays. I like to commission people but if I paid for it, I expect to get something back. I'm just kind of fed up right now. If I ever take commissions in the future, I don't want to forget anyone. And I don't want to waste people's time either. Because that just sucks.

I'll be able to actually scan my artwork more easily. Don't mean to bash my old comp but it was slow as the dickens and it made hard to upload anything! Now that I have a nice new computer, expect to see more artwork... well probably more sketches than anything else but yeah. More uploads. Still want to try for commissions but that takes some doing and I have to figure how I would even be able to do that with school starting back up. If you have any advice, it'd be much appreciated ;w; I might do a few requests in the mean time.

I've been working on little sketches since yesterday trying to figure out how to draw him again. I like his original design but it doesn't really reflect me personally anymore so I've decided to do something different. I'll try to post the sketches later if I can and maybe you guys can help me out? That'd be pretty cool ;w;

Yeah, ready for school! But I still have to pack my clothes, which I will do in the morning. I got side tracked with renewing my ID and playing Skyward Sword. Going visit  Spruce on move in day and try to steal his TV.... Anyways, can't wait to meet my roommates. They seem like good folk as far as I can tell. And my aunt gave me her printer so I'll have a nice scanner but a not so good computer. Hopefully my dad will pull through with the money I need to get a new one. He usually always keeps his word so I won't try to mention it. I feel bad that he's buying it in the first place ;-; But hey! Wish me good luck! I'll try to be more active as far uploading stuff, they'll most likely be sketches though or class work.

I was only able to go on yesterday but it was hella fun! I went my friend  Spruce and it was fun! We got a little late though... but I was able to give my friend her birthday presents! It was some Free! fanart I did in a sort of art nouveau style. I met a few other people too after I met back up with Spruce and headed to the Artist Alley where I found my friend Kaysha and a few others I had made artwork for at Katsucon. I want to try to get a table there next year but first I want to get some money together during my first semester of school.
I'll need it for some of the extra costs that I will be sure to experience this freshman year. So I will be taking commissions within the next week or so until the end of the month when classes start. I'll create a post with all my prices as well as my do's and don't's.
If you are interested in one right now, note me. I can take sketch commissions right now for $5. They would be traditional because it's the fastest way for me to produce my work. Anyways, thanks for reading!

Sometimes, I feel like my art is pretty bad. It's mostly because I tend to compare my work to other's(which a terrible habit...) and it's a little disheartening always knowing that I can't measure up to my expectations. It drives me nuts... But then I realize, I could much worse off than I am right now as an artist. I got accepted to my top school and I get to study art fully.
I had the opportunity to take advantage of the great art program at my high school. And I certainly don't regret my decision to become an artist. I've been asked several times what I'd want to do if I wasn't going into art. I could never come up with an answer anymore. If it works out then great! If it doesn't then I'll just have to try something else, right? Maybe I'll become successful. That'd be nice... But it's kind of unlikely that'll get my dream job. Maybe one of these days I'll finally pluck up the courage to get a table in an artist alley with a friend or two. But right now, I'm going to get back to finishing these commissions.

I am working on them! They are near completion and will be posted within a week or so. For now, I will post the WIPs so you can see the progress and answer any questions you might have. Thank you and I hope you like them when they're done.
