Hello! I decided i wanted to give a little life update!

I got a job in early November an i am enjoying that but i do plan on going back to college. This also means i have some spending money as you may have seen i got Gabby a Ref and art piece from  Sioninel.

lately have been playing modded Terraria with :zyphirimigul: and working on some of my mods for various games like Stellaris and Rimworld. Waiting for some Updates to Pokemon Rejuvination as well as some mod releases so i can work on some small mod for that too.

I have a few Characters I need to work on. I have started 3D models for Palkia And Koriadon. I plan on adding hands to Monarch and maybe his 3rd eye? Still debating that. IDK what I am gonna do to work on Gabby's model as the petals have a myriad of issues with clipping.

Today is my birthday! I am 26 now.

i am still in the hospital at the time of writing this but i should be out soon. it all went well. now i have to be on a liquid diet for 2 weeks then soft foods for an additional week after that.

So since about mid-October i have been having issues keeping my food down, and since then i have been diagnosed with Achalasia.

for those who don't want to google it, basically part of my esophagus will not open up to let food in. from some imaging i saw a little but goes by but the rest just kinda sits there until either it manages to break down enough enough to slowly funnel through, or i cough it up. this has also resulted in the part of my esophagus just above it getting much larger and forming basically a really fine funnel. the best way i can describe it layman's terms is a 15 lane highway all having to merge into a single lane at once.

This is kinda dangerous as if i cough something up weird (especially when lying down) i could inhale it and choke. I have not been eating as late to mitigate this and will soon be getting a pillow that allows me to sit up in my bed.

I have to have a few tests done on me to find out if it is type 1,2, or 3 Achalasia. doctor thinks its 1 or 2 which are the easier ones to treat so i hope so.

I should be fine, but i don't look forward to the pre-visit fasting.

OK, i don't have as many as some people (you know who you are X3) but i do have a good bit with more in the works.

But alot of characters that i have basically get created out of a simple chain of events:
1. oooo i really like (species)!
2. barely any macro art exists of the species and in a few cases none that i could find (cough cough Acklay cough cough)
3. decide to make my own model of (species)
4. customizes it into a character because i am already making the model, might as well personalize it.

Of course Kite and Hank do not fallow this logic because lugia and sergals are way more common. Kite is my original-original character, and is the only one that serves as my sona. But Monarch the acklay, Riptide the Sauropod/Dragon, and Gabby the Black Rose Dragon all fallowed this logic.

Do any other artist feel like they do this? i am kinda curious.

I know it is not my normal posts. But i wanted some way to archive my old art after i deleted my DA account because DA is basically allowing themselves to steal art. I am not gonna re-post all my old work because i would like to remake some of them with a fresh coat of paint. Most of it will be in scraps since people go to FA for the furry stuff, who would have thunk it. i think i will use scraps alot more in the future. for my many WIPS.

I am wondering if anyone would be interested in watching modeling streams on picarto. i would stream:

Touch ups to older character models: monarch and riptide need work.
Create new character models.
Maybe also model some non-furry related projects on it.

As a lot of you know the job market is a complete mess to say the least, so commissions seem like a good idea. but I am not confident enough in my abilities when it comes to character modeling; especially those with fur or feathers.

I am very good at making props like weapons, crystals, and other things. and I can do posing.

I would like to gauge interest with this journal first; how many people would be interested for lets say $20 - $30 USD for a prop (depending on complexity)

Hello! I have been working on a few characters mostly new ones and i thought i should update you all here:

Existing characters:
Kite: added additional skull model
Hank: made more buff
riptide: re-working wings and head

New characters (no names):
Black rose dragon: almost done, wings need adjustments
Palkia: general body done but needs detail and rigging

I would like to get a 2d ref sheet for kite (sfw and nsfw versions) and need some artist recommendations. kite's current ref sheet has only minor changes (more teeth + new sword design)

i have been playing rimworld off and on and decided to make a mod a while back, i wanted something Sergal related but there is already a Sergal race mod for the game. So i decided to make a mod that adds wildlife from the Villous cannon into the game.

It is currently in it's early stages; only adding tal dogs and tal goats with tal stalkers on the way.

Kite Adjustments
I will be adjusting kite some more in the near future, fur pattern and spices will remain the same. the fallowing details are planned:

More teeth: the canon amount of teeth that sergals have (12) always felt a little odd so adding more teeth is the main thing planned
proportion modifications: nothing major here, mostly just arm and leg stuff

More characters
I have alot of characters in blender that are on various states of completion. i also want to rework older characters like kayto but haven't got the insperation quite yet.

Snelly?
I honestly have no idea what to do with Snelly outside of discord, she is a meme character and has made a few appearances of FA, but not many.

Coms?! YCH?! Something?!
I do want to get in the selling art area but modeling is a bit tricky to do coms of and i am slow enough with my own characters, but, the recent Adobe animate projects such as https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40393594/ are something i could see me doing a ych or 2 on in the near future.

I have Finally chose a name for my Lugia, he will be named Hank! I will edit the titles and/or descriptions of past work to include this name.

In other news I have been working on more models, riptide is slowly getting his model revamped and new characters are on the way~!

I have been working on my orca-lugia for the past few months, i am making a new anthro model. but the name "Oreo" has not been sitting well with me. i need name suggestions and i thought i would just throw this journal out on FA just in case.

I will be making more cheeseboi emojis. i'm gonna try to make as many as i can for anyone who is interested. depending on how many requests i get this might close, but seeing as they are pretty easy to make it probably wont for a while.
