New job found :) Details may follow

Okay so not all has gone as well as I'd hoped. Long story short, I'm out of a job :( My place of employment ceased trading on Monday (not a bit of warning to anyone) and we've all been made jobless... just as I got into a 6 month contract for an apartment AND payed for a trip to London this weekend. The untreated sewage has well and truly been flung unto the industrial-scale cooling unit. Which pretty much means any hopes of a triumphant return to FA have been dashed for the foreseeable future, as I must spend my time rushing out job applications and generally shitting myself about the future. Erf :(

Let this be a warning to the nausiatingly optimistic out there... everytime you think you've managed to get a nice little comfortable situation set up for yourself, everything can still turn around and rip your nuts off without prior warning.

Oh and I haven't been on MSN as it refuses to co-operate with my laptop, and much as I want to fix it, I remain stubbornly consigned to the strong belief that computers are shite and I really can't be fucked with it.

We do apologise for the month(ish) long absence, regularly scheduled programming will resume shortly.

In other words, having been in a state of upheaval for a few weeks now, I'm currently sitting in a cold flat, stealing the neighbouring hotel's wifi signal (horreeeeendously slow, barely have the patience) until our broadband is switched on, which will likely take until Friday. Joy. The good news is I've been drawing more shit recently, and some of it may or may not be of post-able quality... hooray!

So yeah, hope this explains my inactivity in all online goings-on, and a hopelessly late merry christmas and happy new year to you all!

Not much to say really, but felt I should update so people know whats up.

New job! I work in a tearoom now, how very British, but much better than the hole I work in now. Until the notice is up on the aforementioned hole job I'm working two jobs, mornings washing dishes and clearing tables and evenings jockeying a cash register. This leaves time for... not a lot else really, so I haven't being drawing as much, but I'll post as and when I can.

Also it's my birthday on Wednesday! I'll be 21, so officially legal to drink all over the world! (except North Korea I'd imagine) Although that didn't stop me behind some garages when I was 16.

Saw Inception... and like pretty much everyone else (except my dear old grandmother) loved it! The complexity of the plot and the world... all fantastic!

Needed a pleasant distraction from unemployment. Speaking of which I'm still up for art trades with anyone who may be interested. ;)

5 weeks till the final exam. 5 weeks of budget energy drinks, pre-packaged chilled pasta for lunch and Super Noodles for dinner, and only ultra-stressed fellow students for company and the occasional newspaper-and-tea break/alchoholic drink to keep me sane.

Normal posting habits will resume in June... I might post the odd sketch or whatever (drawing helps keep me sane C:) but apart from that I must endure an epic voyage up Shit Creek with minimal distraction.

I'm being eaten alive by coursework n stuff, so I can only say sorry for lack of submissionage and MSNage. I'll be back to normal next week!
