And once again being an adult man he declared we should all take revenge on geese by having them for dinner that day

As some of you may have noticed that recently, I've been in a bit of an art slump and haven't really done much of anything

Basically what happened is that as the date for the festival I was making the jeans wizard costume for approached I ended up spending a lot of time making more accessories out of pants, because it's the kind of costume that gets funnier the more things I bring that are pants. The festival went well, I had a lot of fun and the denim wizard was well recieved but also I really needed a couple days to recover, and I figured I'd get back to drawing again and I just kind of didn't. I just made a bunch of sketchs and never got anywhere with them.

For whatever reason I've been sewing more things instead.

These things do kind of go in weird phases for me so I think the best I can do is just sort of ride it out and make some things and then doodle a bit until something hits right with the drawing. Try some things that might lead to that etc.

In the meantime Im uploading a few of my sewing projects because I think they're neat and to keep things going

In summary art will return I just kinda need to readjust mentally to not spending all my time making stuff out of pants.

Thought of a concept for the whole latex sci fi drone worldbuilding thing, so I’m putting it here:

The basic idea is that the species that created the bioengineered drones did so, because their civilization had had a millennia long conflict within themselves about kidnapping other sapient species from other planets and using them as slave labor.
A lot of their species was actually in agreement that the practice was unethical, and previously attempts had been made to replace the slave labor with robots, but they kept running into problems with the robots being much less able to do jobs that actual people had done. Over the years several species had also had problems with robot uprisings, wide spread glitches etc. as a result of making robots too advanced, so there was a wide spread fear of an entirely mechanical solution.

The idea was then that instead of building robots, they would bioengineer creatures who thrived with the jobs previously done by slaves, while also being fully able to do them. To prevent the new bioengineered creatures from being abused, they were made to be unable to reproduce naturally to the point where they have to be grown into adults in vats, in a way that can’t be reverse engineered from adult drones, this way cutting off backyard breeding and unlicensed populations. This enabled the group making the drones to assess others before giving them access to the drones, and a solid legal recourse across all known galaxies to repossess drones that are being abused.

As unsurprisingly, someone who is happy in their job does better work than someone who resents even being there, this caught on fast and a couple of hundred years later, the drones started also being used by other species under the same agreements. The group that had started out making the drones were now an integral part of their species’ government and the whole thing is heavily regulated.

The initial bioengineered creatures were made to have the same upright bipedal posture as their creatures, to make them able to use the same facilities and furniture as them. They were also given two front facing eyes, arms with good movement for maximal utility, a nose in the middle of the face, mouth underneath and such, and were made to be omnivorous and with very high endurance.

As a complete coincidence this alignment turned out to be somewhat visually similar to humans, who were discovered about 300 years after the creation of the drones. This was considered very funny. Humans asserted themselves well enough to not be confused for mild mannered submissive drones, although occasionally clickers get a little confused about their shape and stature being so close to their own.

Long story short: I got a job!

I'm not going to go into the specifics but it's the kind that uses my skill in customer service (which tbh is mostly just being friendly and doing things in a way that seems easier for other people) but is not customer service, as in, no customers to deal with! Which is great because that was the stressor that led to me having to quit my last job.

I start on the 1st, until then I'm focusing on doing things that will make starting that job easier for me, like talking long walks, because it's the kind of jov where I'll be walking a lot. This is also great tbh I kind of hated sitting still behind a register.

I've gotten some larger irl projects done too, and while I have more of those, I do tend to do like 7 projects at once so art will be coming.

That being said, I've replied to comments and nuked my inbox because it's gotten bigger than I can manage while I focused on irl.

Keeping in mind that 40 dollars is usually my starting price for a sketch, I find myself wanting to have money for idiot things, and I have the time to take up to three single character fullcolors without background at the moment, so the offer here is:

As some of you may have noticed, I have not replied to things in a while and had a long stretch where I didn’t upload and now things have been on the worksafe side for a while.

While I am not going to go into it in depth, the summary is that I have seasonal depressions, who have been interacting weird with my year round mental health issues and I ended up in a place where I was overthinking replying to comments wildly, and being unable to push through it.

I do appreciate when people comment, I really do, I just get in my head about making a good reply in turn.

But having had a bit of a break to finish some irl projects, that I can’t share here because I prefer to keep my irl artist identity separate from this one so don’t have to overthink deranged kink shit here, has been good for me. I’ve gotten to the point where I like the way my digital lineart looks, and have been having fun with it, and I decided to make some stuff to update commission info to have a place to start.

So yeah thank you all for your patience, I will try to get back to things soon.

I've been really easily distracted recently and haven't actually been able to finish much of any drawn art that wasn't for someone else, which in addition to me sewing the Jeandalf costume is the reason I haven't been uploading much.

Ngl I feel pretty frustrated about this.

But because making something for someone else seems to work through the problem I'm thinking maybe art trades are the answer?

So yeah not promising anything until an actual agreement has been worked out, but putting it out there to feel free to comment here if you're interested.

what I'm looking for is mainly sfw and not too much of a skill disparity between me and who I trade with (I'd feel bad no matter which end of a major disparity I was on), I can do sfw or nsfw, there's a list under my commissions tab of things I usually do and things I really won't do.

So I finally got around to answering everyone's nice comments, and felt like I should update you all on that I finished the Jeandalf costume. It's got a jat (hat), Joak (cloak), jorts, a jaff (staff) and also a white tank top that says JEANS on it. I absolutely plan on wearing socks in sandals with this.

The entire thing had to be hand sewn as I think my sewing machine would have croaked from all the denim no matter what needle I put in it, but it was worth it. I also managed to construct a closing for the cloak with a belt going through belt loops on the egde of the cloak.

Eventually I'd also like to sew denim starts onto the denim cloak, and I do have plenty left over from the sewing, but I'm having a wizard party on saturday and I can't get it done by then.

I am also debating if I want to post a pic with my face blurred or if the very easily recognizable costume is still too identifiable to post. I do plan on going to things in this.

Either way I have created something weird and I am very proud of myself.

Today I turn 36 years old

The best part of getting older is that it gets harder and harder for people to stop me from doing things like amassing second hand jeans and cutting them up and re-sewing them into a wizard costume for a character I call Jeandalf

Jeandalf must live and you cannot stop me

Probably won't be a frequent occurrance regardless of whether anyone is interested, but it might be a way to do something with warm up designs I don't use anyway.

(these are not actual requests as much as they are vague suggestions I might act on, I will not be doing characters and I make no promises about quality, content, rating, actually getting anything done, or not losing interest in half an hour)

Things are still progressing well, but I had to take some more time off work due to some swelling needing to go down. I should be back to work on monday though.

You don't appreciate being able to pick up a bag of wet laundry until you can't lol, I really love being more able to do things again.


About art, I am still trying to get back into the swing of it, and there may be some delay due to another irl thing. It's really not as big as exhibiting makes it sound I think, but I am exhibiting some artwork later this year and I have had to focus on finding old stuff and making new stuff. I am also putting together my portfolio online so I have somewhere to direct people as that has been an issue.

Yeah fun fact, the reason my prices went up is that I've gotten some interest for the illustrations I do irl, and the old prices no longer paid off doing compared to the time I could have spent working on more career oriented stuff. Don't get me wrong, I like doing commissions, but I also have several projects going that need attention, and since I don't depend on the money I get from commissions.... yeah.

either way, I am getting back to drawing butts and such asap, with consideration for me needing to bust out the watercolor for irl stuff.

It's been a couple weeks since I had surgery, and things are going well. I'm healing up nicely, I have good movement in my arms and am now able to carry enough weight to do most of my grocery shopping myself. I do look forward to being able to sleep on my side again though.

I still have about a week and a half off work, and will likely continue to be kind of absent until then at least.

While I generally don' talk about this aspect of myself I am also really not subtle about it, and you may have noticed that I've posted less lately and been quite busy.

Tomorrow I'll be having top surgery.

It's good, I look forward to this healing up and me not having to worry so much about clothes sitting right on my upper body, wearing a binder etc. but I will also be unable to do most things, myself. Luckily I have wonderful family and irl friends who are coming to check up on me and help me.

But yeah not gonna be drawing porn while they're here, so you know. Be patient about that.

So I did get the worldbuilding exercise I've been working on done, been meaning to do some writing and feel like it's a good warm up.

My problem might actually be that I have a shitload of projects and not a lot of focus I'm realizing.

some of you might have noticed I haven't been uploading that much lately. This is because of two things.

First is the sensible one, where I have some irl projects that require actual writing so I've been doing some things with that, watercolor etc, redid that whole fallout thing with Yao Guai as a worldbuilding excersize, that I'm trying to make some illustrations for but I also know its probably not gonna be interesting to a lot of you. I've also been setting up some irl art shit by finding a place to print some of my paintings as posters etc, but that's not going up here.

And then there's this thing I do sometimes, probably related to having had a lot of serious shit going on growing up so I couldn't have much of a teenage rebellious phase, where I sometimes get this impulse of IM AN ADULT AND NOBODY CAN TELL ME WHAT TO DO that I've mostly kept under control by dying my hair wild colors. Well this friday it coincided with the thought that my living room would look rad in blue.

so instead of drawing like I'd planned on, I painted my living room.

(it does look rad in blue, I was right BTW)

It is once again that time of the year where one day, hundreds of years ago, a guy got mad at geese so now we eat duck to get even! This magical tradition, which is a real thing and you can look it up, surely is great and I invite you all to join in the festivities!


The gist of the story is, that back when Denmark was briefly catholic, lived a monk named Morten. And this dude was really good at being, let me tell you, all meek and shit.

So naturally the higher ups decided that he should get promoted to be a bishop!

The problem was though, that as he was all meek and shit, Morten did not want to be promoted. And when the entourage came to make him a bishop he chose to handle it like the mature adult that he was, and ran to hide in the stables.

Unfortunately, they kept geese. Also unfortunately geese are assholes. Also also unfortunately geese are LOUD assholes.

so they gave his hiding place away and Morten was made a bishop. Which he also chose to handle like a mature adult, by cursing the geese, that on this day every year everyone would eat goose for dinner.

Geese are big tho, so over time everyone decided it was more about the spirit of things and ducks are kind of like short geese, so not we eat duck for dinner on Morten's eve.

But since we're already bending the rules like that I figure, if you are unable or unwilling to eat duck tonight, you can still participate by flipping off a pigeon or something. As long as you're in the spirit of things.

Maybe call it a mean name to be sure.

Sorry about the wait, I wanted to restructure my commissions and needed to take a while making some examples.

At the same time I decided to do future me a favor and get my apartment in order before winter, and hopefully be able to have a halloween party this year. I also have a tattoo appointment this wednesday and have to have something ready to go on that day.

basically we get one of those wall mounted toilets and mount it really high up on the wall

and the rest of the house we make people live in is normal but they have to butt dunk every time they go to the bathroom. And then later in the season we up the ante and make all the participants live on burritos and coffee for a week and also the points are tripled.

This could earn us millions.

I just came home from pride square and I'm still kinda drunk, but happy pride everyone!!

i successfully matched like half my drinks to my outfit and that gives gay bonus points I think

also realizing we might have actually stolen a chair we chose to adopt and bring along but nobody fought us on it so clearly we were the stronger gays

now I'm gonna eat a shitload of chips and drink a bunch of fluids so hangover doesn't kill me because I'm almost 35 and that's just how that works now unfortunately

Hey idk if it's been visible but I've spent the last weeks stressed sick over some stuff at my job. Basically some private information got out to customers and the potential for rude ass questions has me stressed, and stress makes my diagnosis worse.

t's not entirely solved yet, but there is now a plan for what's gonna be happening. I'm less stressed, but still not entirely back to normal, so I am gonna be taking things slowly until this is solved.

I have less energy for regulating myself when I'm stressed out so please don't take it the wrong way if I need time to respond in a normal manner.

Art should get more frequent once the thing is entirely solved, might be weird or irregular until then.

long story short, this is me pulling the disability card. I'm dealing with some shit, and trying real hard to be a normal person at the same time.

As for the explanation, basically I wanted a primarily blue, very 90ies t-shirt to wear to pride and couldn't find any that looked good. They're probably out there, but I need them to ship to Denmark and all that. This led to me designing some shirts and stickers and having a blast.

Basically at this point I'm considering setting up a webshop under my real name, both because seeing my drawings as fun stickers is great, but also because I realized when I did some actual exhibiting of my watercolor art, that I didn't have a website I could send interested people to, to see more.

But if I want to set that up, I need to order some t-shirts to see the quality.

since I keep the art I do here seperate from the stuff I show irl, whether or not this idea works out won't affect most of you here. It would be real great to me though. So if you were thinking about getting a comm, now is a good time c:
