Making a tentative return
General | Posted a year agoIt has been a year and a half, and I am told that things are somewhat smoothing over.
I might re-upload some older pictures which were here before. Mainly the ones which I was particularly happy with.
But I must say that ever since the start of this year I have been starting with a new medium, 3D art and animation, using Blender. And I must say that it has been super refreshing. The kind of things which I've always wanted to do but struggled to learn until now.
And as it stands I have completely made a switch to that.
Things are still tentative and might not work out, and if they don't my main site is still Itaku and can be found here. https://itaku.ee/profile/anthan
EDIT: Well.... Damn... FA doesn't accept video uploads.
Uhhhhh.... I don't know what to do about this.
Best I can think of is convert the shorter ones to Gifs. And for the longer ones just have a thumbnail and a link to the actual animation in the description...

General | Posted 2 years agoLet me preface this by saying; I know I wasn't the fastest of uploaders out there. I'm not some celebrity fur which gets talked about. I draw maybe once every two months at its most frequent.
But I will say that every bit of attention I got gave me much happiness. Every time I logged on and saw 1F or even sometimes 1W in the top right of my screen it gave me much joy from it, and I'm thankful for every one of them you lot gave me.. ... Even if a lot of the time I did question why it always seemed to be some 10 year old picture I now cringed to look at.. Never did remove them until now though, because well... someone clearly liked it.
Admittedly I may have gone slightly overboard.. But the whole point of this is cutting ties with this site.
I waited for as long as I could for things to improve and not go the way they were looking, but they never did improve, and did go exactly the way they went.
These rulings go too far against what I am supposed to be in control of.
I don't actively or intentionally draw cub porn. All of my characters are of a mature age... But apparently me saying that doesn't matter. All it takes is somebody saying they look too young, which can be for any reason from being of a small species, to even the cartoon art-style I use.. And the accusation would mean they have to go.
And I just can't deal with that.. I had lingering anxiety when my most recent picture went 26 days without getting approved on e621 and if it hit 30 then would have automatically been deleted... I sure won't be able to deal with 100+ pictures being at that risk here.
The result of this is that I've remove every single Adult or Mature listed picture I have done from my gallery here.
Maybe that's too many, and maybe a lot of them would have been completely safe to keep... But well.. I don't know which ones they would be. And apparently it's not up to me to begin with...
I will be slowly drip feed posting them back to some other site I join, new start and all.
Now I'm just wondering where to go from here.. Surely to another similar site. But which one is the question.

My most recent picture uploaded is: [Studded], followed by [Counter], then [Riding Bare]
My first image uploaded is [Found a Feast], followed by [Weakness], then [Nomtage]
My submission with the most views is [Necessity Mother of Invention], [Better than an Orthodox Sex Toy], then [Favorite Pokémon Meme]
My submission with the most favorites is [No avoiding your Purpose], [Necessity Mother of Invention], then [Breeding Research Chapter 2]
My submission with the most comments is [Refueling Station], [Two Swords], then [Little Help?]
I'd say the picture I'm most proud of is possibly the Favorite Pokémon Meme, 18 separate mini-pictures of pokémon doing various lood or vorish acts... That or possibly the Breeding Research story, a four-part story I wrote for a friend, and it ended up fleshing out one of my characters who'd later go on to become one of my favorites..
