Long time, no updates; not that it makes much if a difference.
Life got away from me. I live in Colorado now, until next year when I move out if this state.
My sweet baby Mercury Comet is gone.
Got married, had a kid.
Haven't written anything in ages. I've been trying to learn programming and game development.
I'm also looking for someone to sketch up something for a tattoo.
I'm sure this won't find me that person, but it's worth a shot.
Uh... that's it? That's it.

So, I've been absent for a long while... sorry bout that.
Been in the process of moving and keeping my relationship as unstressed as possible so I haven't had much time to work on anything.
I have gotten some work done, not enough that's worth posting but I'll be rectifying that soon enough.
Not sure when my next journal entry will be but here are some upcoming things:

Family stuff and possibly working on the Comet: May 30th
Locksmith Job: Monday-Friday every week

Haven't done much exciting in the last year.
I started working at a Locksmith in Fargo just before Cryptsmas and discovered that two of my coworkers were also furries, so that was cool and I believe both of them are going to MN Migration as well.
I "figured out" what was wrong with my Comet and got her running and "Driving". She's not quite fit enough to make the 130 mile trip up from Motley to my new home, but at least I know where to start.
Bought a grey trench coat. Always wanted one and now I have one, wish it was black though.
I started dating a great woman a little over a year and a half ago, shes not a furry but doesn't mind the fandom/conventions.

The biggest bummer in the last 9 months since I've posted ANYTHING is that due to some bullshit with my old apartment, me and my girlfriend are stuck paying rent at the old place (The shit-hole) and the new place for the first two months. So, we have 360 bucks going to the old place and 920 going to the new place... so money is kinda tight this month and next month.
Which kinda sucks since now my truck needs brakes, a transmission with working overdrive and my Comet needs.... who knows what.
The transmission can always wait, overdrive hasn't worked in over a year. Brakes on the other hand are a far more pressing issue.

Went and saw Zootopia! It wasn't what I expected but it was exactly as good as I expected, worth the $14 I spent to see it with the girlfriend.

In summation, I haven't been up to much, but the things I've been up to have been sorta big things.
Now that I'm all moved in I'm hoping to be more active on FA again so I'll be hoping to hear from you all soon.

Yep, I'm going back.

Sorry for having no updates or posts in so long, I've had a lot of stuff going on. Once September starts I'll be able to get more stuff done just haven't had the time with the new job and helping my girlfriend move, and all sorts of fun happy huggily crap.

I'll be there around 1pm on Friday and staying until the end on Sunday, hoping to have a blast just like last year.

I'll see everyone there that can make it.

Anyhoo, had a blast at Fur Migration in Bloomington. I know that was months ago now, but it was still pretty fun, wasn't fond of the hotel though.
I'm glad they changed hotels for next year.... this year technically.

I'm back dating someone now, as of the 5th of November. I'm happy with her, we have a lot in common and she totally digs the Comet almost as much as I do.
Gonna have the Comet all fixed up and fucking Stellar by the time Migration rolls around this year, so that will be awesome too.
Haven't really been up to much, did some Cryptsmas baking though I didn't get much of it done except rum balls, hay stacks and half of the dipped peanut butter sandwiches.
Got a Wii U, that's kind of fun, been playing the new Smash Bros.

Still working at the bandag retread plant in Fargo, ND and living in Moorhead, MN.

Oh, so someone climbed under my car and put my muffler back together so the Comet is suddenly quite. Kind of freaky....

I think that's about all that has been happening lately.

So I didn't update my happenings because really nothing was happening. Haven't done any writing lately because I've been constantly rotating between work, sleep, and back to work again....

So yeah, I moved. Still up in Moorhead, MN but me and my roommate(s) aren't at the old place. We just got internet hooked up on Wednesday and this is the first time I've had to chance to check FA. I'm still kinda sorta unpacking stuff. Got my bookcases set up and filled. Need a third bookcase. I'm sitting on a box of.... clothes, I think. It'll have to do until I finish my cardboard box throne.

Anyhoo.. damn, now there is Taco Bell on my floor. This journal just got depressing....

Anyways, I will be going to MN Fur Migration, so... looking forward to that.

Good news though! I found something while unpacking books. It was a bookmark I used all the time years ago. I had thought it lost for the last few years with only a picture on my phone to remember it by. I opened up a book and Bam! right there. Oh the joy I felt when I found that one bookmark...

That about sums up everything that has happened recently.

Started working at the UPS shipping hub up in Fargo last week.

Thoughts on it so far:

Sweaty best describes the end of the shift.
Dirty is the air and the floor of every truck. Wind up sneezing black and brown after work.
The people I work with are a hilarious bunch.
Its hard work sometimes, I work unloading the trucks.
Dirty are my clothes after each shift, for the same reason of the floors are dirty and so are the packages by proxy.
I like unloading trucks.
Over 70s are boxes full of hatred and metal.

And yet I enjoy the job, and it pays weekly.
So, I can't complain. All I can do is dig in and get good and dirty.

Dirty foxes have more fun after all.

The truth is out. This dude has moved. From Motley of Central Minnesota to Moorhead Northwest Minnesota. Its like 2nd North Dakota up here, and third Canada.

I have moved Ladies, Gents, and others. Me and my good buddy Charles, whom none of you know formally, have moved up to Moorhead where I plan to be for... quite some time, months in fact, possibly years, who knows?

Anyways, If anyone finds themselves up this way and in desperate need of someone to talk to, or hang out with, chances are I'm free.
I don't have a cell number listed anywhere on the internet but I can be found the the book of faces and I now have internet up here as well.
Which means I can actually submit some of the writing I've been working on rather than leave it to take up space on my aging laptop.

Anyways, enough about me and what I've been up to. Gonna be scouring pages trying to catch up on everything I've missed.

Oh wait, one more thing. Still waiting on a package from Cards Against Humanity, does anyone know who they ship through?

Figured out how to post journals again...

Sorry I've not been around everyone. I have had a lot on my plate and I am trying to find a happy medium in it all.
Got some writing done, not enough to post, but its a start at least. I can't exactly entertain with just pictures, not with a face like a railroad map.

So, anyone that knows my most recent conquest knows that I have a running car now, a 1961 Mercury Comet that needs some TLC and a paint job, and a bit of patching on the seats, but I have also obtained a 1970 Fiat 124 Sport Spider that needs quite a bit more work, like full on restoration. Front seats are shot, wires and lines on the engine need replacing and the engine itself needs to be rebuilt. It needs a new soft top and bumpers in back, and a tail light. New floor boards, literally boards, like wood boards. It needs new wood around the clutch, the glove box (which is all wood), and around the gauges. Also I have to clean all the peacock poop out of it.... The tires on it are older than I am (currently 20). Still looks nice despite all that tedious stuff.

I'm single now, which is nice now that I have time to myself when not at my full time job (sadly not fixing up old cars).

Might be getting an AMC Eagle too, that starts, runs, and drives though so there isn't much to do on that.
Going to be moving. Hopefully at the end of July. My Toyota keeps glaring at me from the back yard... I think its jealous of the Comet...

Found out I like the song "Take my Hand" by 'Simple Plan'.
I watched "That's my Boy" and "Fast and Furious 6", surprisingly good.

I wish I could say I've been up to more, but alas I haven't.

This was a poem my Great-Grandmother Esther wrote about their dog "Bob". Esther had a book of her poems published several years before she died titled,
"Unforgettable Memories." She published this after years of her family's urging and some still survive to this day, still bound in the plastic they were received in. The book has outlived it's auther by several years now, for Great-Grandma Olson passed away some years ago. I don't ever remember meeting her, and I was too busy at the time to even attend the funeral service. It wasn't until this year that I discovered that she had had this book of her poems published. Now I proudly carry my own copy in rememberance, and to learn what I can about her now that she is no longer around to learn from.
I wanted to put at least one of her poems up in part to ensuring these poems never fade from the world, and in part to pay tribute to a great-grandparent I never got to know.
In the span of one's life there are few not worth remembering, but in one's own family and friends; there is no one worth forgetting.


Rest in Peace, Great-Grandma Esther Olson.

So I've learned I most likely have hand, foot, and mouth disease caused by some infuriating virus which makes me likely infectious and miserable to boot.
My tonsols are also giving me grief.

I believe they say "Trouble comes in threes" or I might be think of tragedies, but I can believe it.

First my tonsols became irritated,
Then I got bad news,
Finally I was "diagnosed" with Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease.

And I can't drink caffiene because its high in citric acid which weakens the medicine they have me on.

So I'm miserable, my feet are swollen and miserable, and I want to take a belt sander to my hands.

So I was heading back to my good old town of Motley and a squirrel ran into the street right in front of my speedily approaching car.
The squirrel thought to turn back and then thought to continue on its quest and hopefully dodge the quickly approaching steel death machine.
To the squirrel's dismay, they made neither here, nor there and he passed out of my sight, under my car and promptly vanished.
I felt no little *Thud* of running him down and as I immediately looked into the rearview mirror and side mirrors I saw no squirrel. or a bloody mess on the road.
This squirrel simply disappeared, vanished into a void, and I truly have no idea where that little shit went.

So if anyone sees a mid-sized grey squirrel around Staples that can vanish into the void at will. Let me know.
I have a score to settle with that squirrel.

Yes its that time of the year again when we must don our caps of wisdom and settle down for a slow night of boozing it up and wishing we were elsewhere.

I mean of course that its my birthday, fwee.
One more year has passed and to my dismay I have accomplished almost... nothing.

As it may well be evident I do not particularily care for my birthday but my girlfriend and my family seem to think its a big important day.
