But, out of all the things we look for, what is it that we truly want to find more than anything else, or maybe thats not important, maybe its just what we're looking for in the now...
Regardless, I want to make a list of things we're looking for.
So thats what I'm going to do, I'm making a list.

I haven't been around much, especially in the last couple days but I'm going to be changing that in the next couple days to a week.
Hopefully...
Got to get some writing done, hopefully I'll get to that either late today or early tomorrow.
Cheeko is gone.
Flare might be gone.
Maryjane is still here.
Might be selling some ferrets.
Might get a new kitty.
Ah, but alas I'm getting slightly off topic.
To summarize what I've been doing these past couple... weeks? would require I be able to recall them, which I can't seem to do...
I can recall the last couple days, which involved getting very sweaty but thats hardly news.
Helped my Dad move
Didn't get anything done on Skype
Got a few new knives and two sharpening stones, well, technically three, but oh well...
Fixed my car's CD player with a well placed but overly tactless punch. Long story short, I was a little angry and I wasn't going to take crap from a CD player.
Hope to see some familiar faces that AREN'T relatives at my grad party
Made a few lists

Thats about all I can recall.
Oh, and terrible news but Vault Red Blitz has been discontinued.

Project and Update 7/21/11

So, the project still hasn't begun but its nearly ready to start.
Started a possibly short short story, thinking about calling it [It Ends With You] but that title not only seems kind of... off
but wasn't it a game or movie a while back?
I don't know.
Point being I don't much care for it as a title but I wanted to put something at the top of the page
The 2nd (and very likely better) version of [When Love Isn't Madness, It Isn't Love] will be started soon and once started will probably take between a week and a month, circumstances permitting.
Haven't made an appearance at any Fur Events since Snowpocalypse in March so I think I'll attend the next one if I have the money for it.
Haven't wrote much for poetry lately, possibly due to having read NOTHING in the last year and its been terribly boring.

Anyhoo, so I got employed at the Employment Resource Center and today I got my first assignment.

Society isn't completely SOL, yet.
Posted 14 years agoSo I wound up walking home today.
Its seven miles from my point of departure to "home"
Now, seven miles isn't much for the average being with at least two working legs
Also it was about 43degrees farenheit out
And windy.
Throw on the extra burden of Asthma and suddenly it goes from "No problem" to "Sort of a pain in the arse"
And thats what it was.
Now, I'm onto my 8th line and I haven't explained the title, which is the point of this journal this time around.
On my walk "home" vehicles passed me nearly constantly. This isn't suprising. Especially if you know what I look like.
I look like a driver's worst nightmare, I look like a murderer. A completely batshit crazy murderer.
Yet, a total of THREE people stopped to offer me a ride. Two of them actually turning around from their current destination to do so.
Also, I just happened to know all three of them so its a tad close to null and void.
[Justin] - Some dude from my highschool that ocassionally chatted with people for gits and shiggles
[Lorna] - My least favorite aunt. It was a huge shock that she even stopped
[Matt] - One of my coolest cousins - Not sure why he stopped, we've barely spoke in years
And it was after Matt pulled away, whipped a U-turn and drove away that it ocurred to me that society hasn't completely gone down the drain.
YET.
This was when I was about.... halfway home. By The Way, I walk at the speed of 3.5mph, so this 7mile walk took approx. 2hrs.
Now, out of all the terrible things society holds/does/is/molests onto people/etc... its random acts of kindness like this that convince me, if only for a second, that society isn't a complete and total shitbag of assmoles. And <That is not a term I use lightly, or at all. I mean, look at it, "Shitbag of assmoles" can you even imagine that? Don't actually do it, I don't want to hurt anyone.
These acts of kindness, small as they may be, are like the few golden rays of sun that shine through a dark and cloudy sky.
-NOW-
Despite all the flattering words above. I'm going to give this topic the verbal beating it deserves.
Starting with the last line and bouncing around from there.
First, I don't much care for sunlight and I like cloudy days so bugger all to that. Next. This is only THREE acts of kindness. By THREE people I knew. And since I knew them, they knew me, and thus knew I wasn't a mentally unstable murdering psychopath. Thus making the whole kindness thing null and void. The reason my aunt stopped was probably so I don't murder her or give her a box full of rabies for Cryptsmas. Next! This is three instances out of several HUNDRED vehicles that passed me. Think that through for a moment. At the very least thats 1.5% of people that passed me that actually stopped to offer a ride. A ride, I might add, that I didn't want. I had already resolved to walk the distance because I have the determination of a drunk stereotypical german. or Juice for that matter. (He was my dad's Finnish foreign exchange student a few years ago. he was like a brother.) So essentially to happen upon these acts of "kindness" I had to know three specific people on a Monday in mid April. So if I hadn't, it would have continued to be crap society central. One person at some point honked at me. No idea who the hell that was but bugger all to them too. They were probably waving but as its happened before they probably thought I was Andrew or Joseph.
Don't ask who Andrew and Joseph are, because I don't know. For all the times I was confused for them I was never told who they were or how I might go about finding them and fixing this little identity problem. Once in freshman year of high school a dude, Fabian I think, came up behind me and started rubbing my shoulders, thinking I was some other dude. No idea who he thought I was, after he realized I wasn't said dude he said some half muttered apology and looked elsewhere.
So in all reality, society is actually pretty well screwed.
Just about everyone is a jerk or a notoriously thick dolt.
No one can take a hint.
Bugger all to the whole lot of them.
In case it wasn't/isn't obvious, I'm not a fan of society. Hence why I'm usually indoors and alone.
Some day many people will die, and I won't lose any sleep over it.
Mayhaps thats just the way I am.
People have been getting on my nerves today.

On a brighter note that doesn't involve physical murder or the akward observation that I might commit it.
I decided today that each week, or maybe more often than that, I'm going to pick one topic and just completely verbally beat it to death.
Why? You might ask... Ok, YOU might not, but I'm going to go ahead and assume that SOMEONE would ask.
Because at least once a week I feel like being a verbally abusive Writer, and what better way to do that than to pick a topic of choice,
And beat on it mercilessly.
This weeks topic will be -Shit Rap- Which actually encompasses all of it in my opinion, but hey, whatever.
This verbal beatdown will be delivered on Wednesday for lack of caring for tomorrow despite that it hasn't begun yet.
-Summing things up-
I got sick of trying to rework [When Love Isn't Madness, it Isn't Love] so I put it on hold. By the Way, there is some notoriously BAD writing in there.
Did not know that....
So instead I started on one story that is holding up [A Fox, A Lock, and an Ivory Box] and that is going MUCH smoother.
I hope the rest of this week is restful for everyone. I certainly feel like I need it.

Posted 14 years ago[Ivan] has been updated. Most to all spelling errors have been resolved, I.E. fixed.
For those Eleven that have read it or are going to read It I sort of want suggestions for a title for it. Something like Ivan's Something.
The suggestion that has the most votes is [Ivan's Dawning]
Other than that.
Fully willing to hear suggestions on what I should actually work on next. Whether it be a whole new story or reworking or expanding an old one.
Since in the time I've completed Ivan's Etc/Ivan's Dawning I have litterally got no more writing done. Call me Tacky if you will.
Or my porn star name. Sassy Meadow~
Anyways, so that thing with my eye, in case I forgot to wrap that up, no pun intended, turns out they thought it was a blocked tear duct. Which I wasn't aware was still a part of my body, I was litterally 100% sure they had been willed and neglected out of existance. So they gave me a prescription of horse pills (Amoxicilin) and sent me on my way. Its not completely cleared up but I sure as hell not going back so they can sign me up for more of it.
And here's why:
1. I don't like that theres a pill for everything
2. I can only describe the taste of Amoxicilin as "MOLD" hold the ice
3. I don't like hospitals anyways
So thats that. Next in line at my verbal shooting range is me.
Why?
Because I'm such and egotistical selfish bastard like that.
Honestly I don't see the point in relationships. Especially hearing day to day the amount of pain and heartache they cause.
For what? A cheap thrill usually.
It seems that most couples I see/meet/mock/make rude gestures at/etc... are only together for a short time before they decide,
"Oh, I geuss I don't love you. Oh? You feel the same way? Alright, then this works out for both of us. Lets meet up and try redating in a few months to a year. Also, lets keep in close contact in case one of us has hay fever and thinks we can work things out. Bye"
I don't know about you but that sounds pretty pointless for the amount of time and effort that went into that specific decision.
I know for a fact that this isn't how all relationships wind up, in fact I'm sure a lot of people are happy with their imaginary spouse or person they obsess over that is currently locked in their basement planning escape as you read this.
Kidding.
But no really, they are trying to escape.
Anyways, I know this isn't how it works out for everyone but its how it seems to work out for just about everyone around here.

Thats essentially it unless you count glowing apendages amongst the recently common things
Yeah.
So The Seven Acts - As some might realize - Is not complete.
For I have yet to submit the seventh act, but I do have it. Done.
Along with the Arcs of... stuff
But those are mostly cheerier.
No sketching recently. I've been working on Ivan's Etc and that alone.
Ivan's Etc as it shall be continued to be called until I have a better title for it, is the sequel to the short, fragmented, and not altogether very good [Kimiros' Tree] <--Which will be reworked slightly since it is about.... 4 pages long if it prints right and Ivan's Etc is... onto it's 13th notebook page and its not even done. So it will be far longer than its predecessor...
After that I might do some sketching, and since we all here know I'm just a pretty shitty sketcher it won't be anything fancy or good.
Probably more knives because that just seems to be my bag of tricks.
On the bright side!
[The Arc of Love] <-- Yeah I know, witty title, right? Is probably my cheeriest piece. Its so sweet that it literally makes me sick to my stomach.
EDIT - April 1st 2011 8:29pm - Yeah, because I can and will do that.
Originally I was going to ask who had read Ivan's Etc but then I remembered... its not posted here. And shan't be until it is complete, which should be sometime this weekend. Act Seven will be post Sunday Morning. I'm very sore right now and Gauntlet Dark Legacy is calling to me....
Which by the way, is an AMAZING game, but not the point I'm making. Here's the classes in Gauntlet Dark Legacy:
Wizard - Sumner
Sorceress - Medusa
Jester - Hyena
Warrior - Minotaur
Archer - Tigress
Knight/Paladin - Falconess
Orge - Unicorn
Aside from the last two these are the flip sides of the main classes.
So yes, the "archer's true form" is a furry, a tigeress to be precise. And having at some point overwritten my previous data that makes her my highest level character and the way she mows down enemies.... Mmm hot damn kitty, with a bow, a pointy bow of death.
I have to hand it to Midway games for Gauntlet Dark Legacy, even though they then went on to make Gauntlet Seven Sorrows which was an shitbag of terribleness wrapped into a crappy plot and surrounded by enough good ideas to fill half a thimble.
In other words I hated it. A lot.
By the way, Sumner is the only class I don't have unlocked and it bugs me >.>
Call me a nerd if you wish but I never get bored with playing Gauntlet Dark Legacy.
Other than that! I should, for a month or more, post just ONE journal then just keep adding updates to it. Why? You may ask.

Which also reminds me that shortly after I got back from Snowpocalypse I hunted down
ZenFox by way of... searching and his journal at the time made me want to hug the man, and lets get one thing straight (no pun intended) I hate hugs much less giving them. (Hugs that is) and this is why:

Gits and Shiggles - Or more appropriately and easier to understand - Shits and Giggles - A multi-use excuse for any sort of nonesensical action, usually to bug someone or completely fuck with their minds. Some of my friends are going to Anime Detour, I on the other-safe-hand shall not be going.
For several reasons which I shall state:
1. Safety - Foxes might get molested or worse with that many people around
2. Lack of motivation to care to go - Anime Detour doesn't really seem like my bag of tricks
3. Bleh - Otherwise known as bugerall.
4. DWL - Don't Want to Leave
So theres that. I'll be home all weekend, harassing anyone I can get ahold of.
By the way its nigh on a futt bucking miracle but I at present have a total of 49 watchers.
Which I had figured would take ages to attain that amount
At 50 I'll do something creative or pwetty or you know, off the beaten path. No pun intended.
So I'm finally going to end this journal because I'm cruel and spiteful like that.
But I'm going to close with two things.
1. Every time you paw, a kitten dies.
-Whereas this is amazingly hilarious it is not an effective method for killing felines and I don't suggest or endorse it-
2. A bit over a month back. February 16th to be exact I had thrown up a "Getting to know the Writer, AnthonyM" up.
And I'm going to do so again.
Post questions below in the comments and any and all questions will be given fair and proper thought.

The Dark Spark.

SO.
I just had a dream.
I was walking, climbing, jumping around a large place which was made from exactly symetrical squares. Which were blue.
The sky above, if it was indeed sky, was black rimmed with the color of rust.
As I was going around this... place, I was to destroy all the lightbulbs on the structure; purple ones, white ones, all of them. However I could.
So I did just that. This structure though, had rocks lying everywhere so sometimes I used those.
But there were PEOPLE in this world. And they weren't supposed to know I was there.
So I killed whoever I found. With a rock.
There were roadlike places to walk between the many parts of this structure, and these structures were tall.
So ocassionally I would just drop a rock from high up to kill them.
But kill them with a rock, I always did.
This dream was just breaking things and killing people that might try to stop me.
It was fun.
Now I need to get back to the workload that is my writings.
Ivan isn't going to write himself and neither are Tera's slips.
And those those that read [When Love Isn't Madness, It Isn't Love] I'll have the alternate ending to that done somewhat soonish.

Alright. Vulgarity aside I have somehow managed to screw up my left eye.
So for the last few days I've been walking around with one of my bandanas tied to my face.
Yesterday it was just plain uncomfortable to look down or blink.
Today I don't really have to worry about that. Mainly because I can barely open that eye.
So therein lies my problem. I can barely use my left eye so instead I opted to not use it at all.
As I type this my eye is covered thus relieving it of any use.
Its puffy and theres a lump below my eye. People might have bags beneath their eyes,
but this has become an entire luggage entourage.
Gathered theories are: Stye, and a zit.
Of the two I think stye seems more likely but eh, what do I care?
I'm a writer first and foremost so I don't need my left eye.
It makes me feel like a pirate. My depth perception is fine.
Which is a good thing, because I have to drive an hour and half down to Princeton today

I met a lot of different furs and all of them were awesome!
Truly it put furs in a whole new light!
The whole time I was there it was amazing and there was never a dull moment.
There was a moment however when the lobby smelled of vomit and I'm not sure why that happened since no one had done so.
Room 226 though was notorious.
Everytime I walked in there the safety rating got lower and the conversation went from "One time I was stripping..." to "Lets strip."
These are examples by the way since the only stripping that happened occurred while I wasn't paying attention.
All in all totally worth the 2hr drive and I look forward to being at the picnic on April 16th!

Theres a funny story behind both of those =^-^=
