This is a touchy one for me and I'd like to hear what the community has to say.

I'm a white cis male and I feel weird doing racial TFs. I've done a few but, they've been pretty vanilla and most as commissions. But, what if it is a Dark Be The Girl and the white male victim is changed into a non-white girl trapped in a bad ending. Is that okay for a white guy to do? Is it okay if the ending isn't bad (as with the ones I've done)? I'm asking as I'm thinking of removing the True Colors option from the Be The Girl: Dark mod. I know it's for other folks to use but...

I suppose the answer is: If you have to ask if it's bad, then it is bad...

But, I'd like the some thoughts from you.

While ignoring the gameplay aspect of the Be The Girl game, I've just done a large-ish update. There are now 77 Body changes (including an Anthro option in addition to the kemonomimi option! Finally!), 101 Compulsions and 94 Mental Shifts. There are also seven more Mitigations.

Sometime I'll work on re-vamping the points system. With all of the additions, things are a bit... off as far as boons are concerned.

Also, the last image in Imgur is a screenshot of the .rtf file I use for RPing. Use it as a guide if you wish!

For all of your sympathy and words of encouragement on my last post. I am truly grateful to all of you, not simply for the words but, for once again showing how kind this community can be.

Had my surgery and it was... weird.

I'm back but, the recovery process will be LONG.

Months.

But, it I have faith that I will eventually be back to 100%. I will, however be taking it slow. I don't want to set myself back just to post some art (as much as I like posting art). Now, I AM drawing and doing some basic, flat colors but, real, detailed coloring takes two hands and lots of time. I will be posting my flat color stuff but, won't be doing detailed rendered colors until I'm MUCH better.

So, enjoy the art that IS posted and wait for the better versions in the future.

So, I made a series of mistakes on Sunday afternoon which resulted in a trip to the ER where I learned the term 'subluxation'...

While it was my non-dominant shoulder and i can still draw, typing is laborious (one-handed typing jokes go here) so, I may not be posting (with lots of words) for a week at least.

Got some new lighting things for my b-day and want to test them. Will probably start around 9 EST 9/15, if any are interested. No guarantees of awesomeness, unfortunately.

Okay, I don't have a fursona but, I just had a wild hair that it would be hilarious to go to a comic convention as Weekly from the Blacksad series. I have a medium format camera and a leather jacket but, would really like to do a good head and paws.

I don't even know where to begin! I'd love to do full cinematic makeup (who wouldn't) but... money. I would love a head/paws partial fursuit but... money; it's not like you can buy a weasel head off the rack. I can't do half-assed. I've done that as a kid and it only works as a kid.

So, does anyone have any thoughts? This isn't a definite thing, I'm just daydreaming but, it would be interesting to be Weekly in a sea of Spider-Men, Wonder Women and Thors...

I've believed this for a long time but, have been afraid of being open about it as I worried about backlash.

And that means I was part of the problem. With what is happening around the US right now in the wake of the murder of George Floyd, the peaceful protests being brutally put down and white agents provocateurs helping to turn protests into riots, I can no longer remain silent.

Things need to change. The way we police needs to change.

Some of you may have noticed my account was temporarily suspended. In the spirit of transparency, here's what happened.

Apparently, one of my old Flexible Survival "Rescuer Stranded" pieces had the word 'newborn' in the text I copied from the game text; right after was, of course, the character getting confronted by another baddie. FurAffinity has a policy that no children should be depicted in ANY WAY near sexual situations. I agree with this policy whole-heartedly.

I have never, and will never, intentionally depict minors in or near sexual situations. Ever.

To this end, I have expunged similar text they have missed and I have censored both of the TF/TGs featuring Creepygirl™ (a six-year old magic user) as I included genitals to show the TG element. This will never happen again.

The original punishment was for a week's suspension. I appealed for, and received, clemency; for which I am grateful.

Hey, all!

Just discovered a graphic novel that is right up, well, many of our alleys. Some of you may have already checked it out but, for those who haven't, you probably should.

It's called "Moonstruck" by Grace Ellis and Shae Beagle. A bbw lesbian werewolf has a crush on another werewolf and her best friend, a gay centaur stallion, is there to help (or accidentally hinder).
Things are going pretty well until a rogue magician causes one of her friends to lose their greatest treasure...

This is completely SFW and even kid-friendly (unless you have a thing against certain relationships). It's silly, witty and fun. Grace's writing has a naturalistic rhythm and Shae's art is sweet but, the characters have just enough solidity to make them feel real. There are no extended TFs and, as I've said, its totally SFW but, don't let that stop you.

Check it out. There's a good chance you'll like it.

This is probably a little thing but, as we progress as a society, I think the little things will matter. I spend an inordinate amount of my life worrying if I've been an inadvertent asshat and that's the origin of this question.

For years now, when posting a pic of someone turning into something of the opposite gender, I've chosen "transgender". For years in general, this was the preferred term for this type of TF. However, it means something different these days.

You may have noticed that FA now has more options on its gender drop-down to more reflect these changes (no pun intended). However, the hard part for me, is what to use as a label for TFs involving gender change so as to convey information without causing offense.

Or, could we just assume that things have multiple meanings here and If I choose "Trans(Female)" for my current monthly drawing nobody will assume I'm making a statement about real people in transition from M to F?

My current comic had a few panels of sentient smoke and I decided to try to get better and look up some ideas. This place has a sweet smoke tutorial and other necessary stuff like drapery. It's not just a "here's how to draw this one thing". It shows HOW to draw things; showing movement lines of how clothes fall on bodies to help visualize how drapery works.

While I find it quite interesting that nobody chose “still unhappy”, I’d not planned on this and now I can’t use the final question I’d originally planned to use. I’m going to assume that she’s since she’s still not fully into being Goth Piggy, she’s a little embarrassed at being a large female. The embarrassment is doubled when she’s in, what she considers, silly, embarrassing costumes. With that in mind, here’s the new final question:

How should I depict Cybergoth Piggy

1) All alone. She’s embarrassed at how she finally looks in her costume.(She's also embarrassed at finding she's secretly finds the the costume fun)

2) With her female owner/companion/date. She’s embarrassed at being dressed in the costume and being told she looks fabulous by her companion (She's also embarrassed at finding she is enjoying the flattery)
