I'm just curious.. like, I want to make some more appositi sometime soon, and I want to help a friend raise some money t oget her phone screen replaced.. since its like shattered, and to replace an iphone6 screen is like 200$ its terrible. I like doing auctions bc it gives more people a chance to get something they might be interested in, but I feel like flat prices are more preferred??

I gotta work hard. I really do. That last bulletin was a bit rough (on TH), I wasn't feeling well at all and I'm going to leave it up as a reminder of my lower points. I'm sorry I don't really reply to comments I read them all and appreciate them immensely.. knowing people go out of their way to comment really makes me happy, thank you. I don't say it enough.

But I wanted to just. I need to give myself a pep talk, I need to work harder and stay positive. I really do. I let the negativity consume me so often it just controls my actions I haven't been drawing I haven't been taking care of myself I haven't even been giving myself an opportunity to chat adn talk to those around me who care. I just isolate myself and hate myself and let it kill me slowly.

I want to be better I want to talk to people more and keep myself happy I want to work diligently again I don't want to keep making myself guilty. I've been living each day half alive I want to FEEL ALIVE and ACTUALLY LIVE.

I haven't done much art besides mindless sketches and occasional time spent on bigger commissions and trades and I've been living with $11 in my bank account for over a month. Bills are coming. Life is catching up. I gotta work harder I gotta do better. I apologise to everyone for this struggle and to those I've made wait for so long please please if you want to know where your commission or trade is please PLEASE I encourage asking me. Note me about it PLEASE. I don't update my to-do list very quickly and I don't even have everything wr-- ok that's a lie TWO THINGS ARE MISSING THATS IT OK I'm ok. I'm doing okay. just wanted to push out an update since I know i've got some work piling up, and I've been working every now and again when I get the time..!! The ych's are coming along as I go, they're a bit easier to do a few at a time than some of my other work.. lining takes em forever o(-<.. idk where my speed went.

but I wanted to go ahead and send out an update to say I recently did an extensive clean of ym room and my birds cages and.. sorta fucked up my wrist LOL;; I had to put on th ebrace and the pain didnt subside just.. kinda kept hurting really bad but!! THERE WAS A FIRE IN THE CONVENATION CENTER NOW LOOOL WE WERE EVACUATED!! ALRIGHT ALRIGHT THIS IS FIRE FUN WEEKEND I GUESS

Anyway this is long overdue and I'm sorry that it might be a bit short .. I am typing on my phone currently in a very dark basement. But anyway! Katsucon is this weekend and I am attending with my regular con group and well .. we all stay at one house and drive down the morning of the first day .. so. Eight con goers, one parent, and an older sister with her two friends are all in this house.

Luckily, all eight of us con goers happened to be at the store when this all started but .. we came back to smoking billowing out of the house.

Now for reference, all of our stuff is inside .. suitcases and such. So... the dryer (clothes dryer) had caught fire and an extinguisher was not putting it out sooo the fire department was called and they soaked the inside of this laundry room.. it went into the basement where most of us were staying the night too (finished basement) .. while they were doing their thing we were all stuck outside in the .. 12 F weather with the two dogs I'm crying it was .. eventful. We has to sweep water because it flooded the basement and the dryer is in the backyard all charred .. luckily there is minimal fire damage in the house.

It was so cold outside the water from the fire truck hose froze .. immediately.

ANYWAY besides all that fun (I'm still coughing and my eyes burn .. house still smells smokey) I will be away this weekend! I apologise to those who are waiting on stuff I tried to work before leaving but I was rather busy and had a zine deadline, but I will continue work after the con!!

Hey guys, lemme just start off with an apology-- well, I've been pretty quiet again as of late and it's because two weeks ago my grandmother was admitted to the hospital. It took a bigger toll on me than I had expected because shes such a big part of my life and-- well, it was quite.. severe. I'm not going to get into details, but. It's been a very.. long two weeks so far, and she just came home yesterday after she was cleared to leave the hospital.

It's great news yes! but shes not recovered, shes still recovering, and shes asked my twin and I to stay with her as like-- live in care? To be there when she needs someone and such, and yesterday was our first day being here and well-- it really.. takes up a lot of my time. And I want to apologise bc I've already been taking so long on some of my bigger work projects and I really gotta buckle down and get it done, and I will, I promise I will. But it might take some time bc I haven't been at my best emotionally and mentally.

There is some more, minor issues that mixed in with the bigger stuff has just been bringing me down but-- I'm fighting those a bit more!! I will not let my mental state win me over >:\..

I wanted to thank everyone here for your support, and for being here and getting me to 1000 watchers AHHH its such a milestone for bc each time I tried to use FA in the past-- I just sorta stopped?? Appearance and Physiology
General
- Appositi are human like in appearance, except for the.. you know, wings and tail. Their common appearance tends to just be a humanoid shape with a set of two wings (four wings in total) on it's back, feathered ears, a long feathered tail and various gem like orbs embedded in their skin.
- Markings are most commonly found on the wings and tail of the appositi, it is uncommon but not unheard of to find markings on the skin as well.
- Their skin colour varies just as a human does, so natural tones. There is no such thing as an unnatural coloured appositi!
-Their ears are feathered, and the more ears there are the better they can hear.

Orbs & Tails
- The orbs are most commonly found near the base of the tail, symmetrical on both sides. They can also be found further down the tail, on the hips, chest, arms, and or legs. It is VERY RARE to find an orb embedded on the Appositi's head.
- These orbs hold the appositi's magical abilities, which can vary in type. Some are elemental where as others use kinetic abilities. The range of magicks in the appositi species differs from appositi to appositi!
- When broken, the appositi's magical ability can become unstable and hard to control.. a light-like smoke seeps from the surface of the cracks on the orbs, which can also be considered lifeblood bleeding out. (explained more in magics)
-Tails are pretty easy, they don't change too much in size or length, and all that changes are how many feathers you might see. Some only have feathers at the base and tip, whereas some have a trail of feathers all the way down. It changes from Appositi to appositi.
- Tail tendrils are a common trait found, which is a long feathery like string that comes from the base of the tail and ends with a larger feather at the end. A set of one or two may be found.

Wings
-The default number of wings an appositi can have is four! (two sets) Six can be found, but it is more uncommon. If there are less wings.. it means said appositi may have lost the others. Being born with less than four wings is a mutation.
- They are capable of flight, their bodies are light and their wings are strong. With the aid of magic, flight is very easy amongst the race.

Magic
- An appositi is a magical based species by birth, all are born with the ability to control magic- but not all harness that ability. Some appositi may live normal, magic-less lives, whereas others may train in the art to learn to the best of their ability.
- Magics are not restricted in any way really, but they can be abused. If a user abuses their magic ability too much, rune-like markings start to appear on their skin. This is a sign of overuse of their magic, and can be considered a tainted mark amongst the community.
- Excessive runes on the users body can result in loss of the hosts soul.. meaning if a user abuses their magics too much, they may lose themselves to be and become a vessel to said magic or eventually just die because of it.
- Most appositi with runes keep them covered up in fear of being shunned by others for their magical abuse, as that is a very common happening in the community.

Mutations
- Appositi born without wings at all are very rare, and most are left to die and or killed at birth. When this happens, the appositi has an excess of feathers on it's body. (mostly on the arms and legs, but also the tail and ears are common areas)
- Wings in place of ears is a rare mutation, as is wings growing on the tail. Both are very rare to find, and not entirely unheard of. These appositi are usually kept secret as children, as their families may be too ashamed to let it be known their child is mutated.
- Horns may appear on Appositi young due to corruption in their lineage. It is caused by the abuse of black magicks by an elder or a parent, and eventually down the line one may be born with horns. This is an EXTREMELY RARE TRAIT and most seen with horns are killed upon birth.

Habitat
Diet
- Appositi are omnivores just like humans! They have a range between any diet really just as we humans do, and can choose to be vegetarians, vegans, whatever they fancy!
- They do not need sustenance as often as we do though, as their bodies digest foods very slowly to preserve it longer during travels. The species moves about very often with their wings, they've grown used to eating less.
- Magic users may need to consume more as the magic use tends to tire out the body more often. If overused, the user may lose consciousness due to fatigue if not properly sustained.

Climate
