I know I have not updated or done anything with this page in a long time. Its not like I have given up writing; it is just that I have not been having any muse to write any stories. I have been doing different creative stuff; with videos.

I started my own youtube channel and Let's Play videos. I did have alot of videos before, but because of my laptop crushing and videos that were not posted yet gone; I basically have to redo everything.

I have a new series I call 'What the Heck am I Playing' which is me playing import games that have and will more then luckily see a US release

It has realy been a while since I have been here or have posted anything. But Alot of stuff has come up and are coming up that are taking my time. I'll talk about those in a later Journal but for right now I am working on some small stuff that will be posted later.

I know that I have posted about Extra Life, but what I have not posted was my main reason of why I take part in this charity program. Its not simply because you can play video games, board games, card games and so on for 24 hours, but alot more personally.

Most everyone here knows that my childhood was not the best moment of my life, although there were good moments in at that time as well. I was born with ADHD and also a condition where my mind development is a year behind my body development. Nowadays it means nothing but back as a child with all the changes going on around me and inside me, the school’s pace and other variables, it was hell. I was subjected to bullying from a lot of students and had a lot of teachers and adults looked at me like I was a lost cause or something that can not easily be controlled or predicted as there were times where I was slow on learning on a subject and then I quickly picked it up faster the the students in the classroom. Until I moved to Texas in the Summer of 94, it was tough and left a mark on my heart and soul that took years for me to truly recover.

Now, what does a guy with only ADHD and the year difference condition have to do with a charity program for children with serious illnesses and conditions? It is not the physical condition, but the one thing that is important.

As a child, I was never given Hope by a lot of people thus I never had hope for the future, that I felt like there was nothing more for me then ‘suffering’ and ‘darkness’. And when I see the children and their families in hospital, I felt the similar emotions. The harsh reality of situation, a child struggle with the infliction and trial of the illness, families struggle with the emotional pain of their children and all other emotional problems. And yet through all of that; their Hope, the one power in all of creation that is real, gives them the strength to move on even if the future is good or bad in the end. I never want anyone one, especially a child, to go through their life without knowing what Hope truly is and feels like. For no matter what the future brings, success and failure are always the constant variables that happen regardless. But it is the will and resolve that can truly make that difference in the outcome and the most important fuel of that drive, is Hope.

That is only the first half of the reason, the other is more of a important personally reason.

As I have mentioned before, along with the bad moments in my young life there were good ones as well. There was one person that I strongly remember who was one of the few handful of friends I ever had. Her name is Allison and she always looked up at me as a Hero. She ever believed in a story that if one were to ‘gather a thousand Hopes, then a Miracle would happen.’ Sadly I have not heard from her in the years since I moved down to Texas. But it was during the first year when I signed up for Extra Life, I got a email from her mother, after finding my profile on a old website, and she wrote to me a very long email. She deeply regret to inform me that Allison was caught up in the World Trade Center on 9/11. She took the time to write out Allison dairy pages from when I left New Jersey till that fateful day. I can honestly say that I was crying for the fact that not only did she still kept me in her mind while I have forgotten about everything, but she still had hope that one day we will meet again and that she hopes and prays that I am still the Hero and having a happy life.

That was the turning point in my life and where I begin my first step towards working with Extra Life.

And there it is. My reason for taking part in Extra Life and all that I have done so far. Not only to help out the children and families in need but to also honor the memory of a friend who always kept that hope, prayer and wish in her heart.

I know that it has been a long time since I have done anything on this page and even as a writer. But I went through alot of things and going through some changes. And ironicly enough, this all started during my trip in Japan. But I am actually decided to make my journal into a story to make it more interesting and give it more visual appeal.

As for my personal life, I am still looking into getting into a Media Bussiness, which is a bit tricky, but in the mean time, I am actually doing a program at a local college where in a year or so I will be able to teacher at a elemnetary school level. I call that a semi career; as being a teacher is alot better then being a grocery sacker.

Anyway, not only I am slowly getting back into wirtting but I have two projects I have in mind.

The first one is doing my reviews on anime and games. I have opened a tumblr account for that purpose. After doing a few and seeing where I can take it, I can do alot more with it with video programs and such. But for now it will be in written form.

The other idea is doing a commission type but only in story form. I am not a artist so I can not other commissions like other great artist here, the only tool for the trade I can ofter are stories. I am working on a pricing and such, but I have a rough idea for 10 dollars which will get you a 4000-5000 words, which equals roughly 12 pages. Anyone interested in and such, just send me a pm and we can talk about what you want and such.

Anyway, that is all that is going on. :)

This journal will chronicle my experiences in Japan. Many people will ask me why I would visit a country where I have no idea on how to speak, read and write in a language I have never studied for. Hopefully this journal will answer a lot of questions and even some new growth in me as a person. Please enjoy.

The morning started off all right. I took care of last minute details before I left for the hobby airport at 1 pm. My parent drove with me to send me off. None of my friends came along because they had work or personal stuff that could not be put aside that they had to take care of. The drive from Kingwood to Hobby was chaotic but then again it is the same traffic in Houston so it is not a surprise. We parked at the garage and walked our way to the airport. The most interesting thing that happened was that on our walk, my mother found a Mary medallion on the ground. It was ironic to me because yesterday my aunt, may she rest in peace, passed away early morning. I don’t know if this event was a gift or a sign from her, but I pocketed the medallion and decided to put it on my necklace I have on when I get the chance.

I got the ticket and I said goodbye to my parents as we got to the security check point. The lines were long but growing up seeing this for most of my life, I am use to it. Although it got tricky because I forgot to take the laptop out of my bag to be scanned on its own.

As of right now I am writing this entry as I wait for the next flight to take me to Dallas. As I sit here and write this, I have no idea on what to expect. I can imagine and think about a thousand things, but in the big picture, the real event will happen the moment I am in Japan. I would be lying if I would say that I am as nervous as I am excited.

It has been a long time since I have been around here. ^^u Alot of stuff has happened so I will mention two big ones.

First off I finally graduated from the University of Houston in my Commincation Media Productions in the Fall of 2011. And because of that I am getting ready to go on my graudtion gift which is 2 weeks in Tokyo Japan, so I am looking forward to that. I will be leaving on the 31st of March and coming home on the 14th of April.

The second big is that the Extra Life for 2012 is set on October 20th. And in celebration for that I have decided to do a bit of a pre-event which I call the 100 Game Challenge. In it I will try to beat 100 games before the 20th of October. How this work is that I am looking for mini sponsors to pick either one or many games from the list which will be posted soon. Each game is 10 dollars worth and when I beat a game that is sponosred, then that person donates 10 dollars in my paypal account under apienkoss@yahoo.com. All the money donated will be hand deliver to the Children's Hospital, 100% of the money. My goal is to get 1,000 dollars.

Anyone interested and to help spread this event around, simply make a journal post one what game/games you pick and that you are challenge me to beat them.

And I have other projects in mind that will be uploaded soon. :)

Well it was a long and tiring 24 hours this weekend. I fought against Dracula and his dark forces from Super Castlevania 4, fought a hordes of DarkSpawn from Dragon Age Origins, fought for the Golden Fleece in The Rise of the Argonauts, and many more. While it was tiring and did feel a bit disheartening that I didn't get any more donations, I still managed to press on more and more. When it came to 8 am on Sunday, I felt successful that at least the 618 dollars would be put to good use. Although the moment I have thought of that, I passed out from lack of sleep.

But it was a few hours later when it happened.

When I woke up, my friend that stayed with me during the 24 hours put me in my bed after I passed out, a few hours later; I was informed that only with 10,000 other people across the United States, we have raised 1.1 million dollars. Was surprised by that and happy by that news. Then my phone rang and it was from the Hospital that I was sponsoring that they wanted me over as soon as possible. So one of my friend drove me because I was still in no shape to drive. We got to the hospital and there was a crowd of doctors, nurses and even some children outside. The moment I stepped outside, I was swarmed by them all. Long story short, the children and even some adult patients where moved by the stuff I have done to spread the word and raised donations that each of them started to not give up hope and try to better themselves as best they can. They even had a small party while watching me on the webcam for awhile before it got late. What really made my day yesterday was that the girl I mention before was also touch and moved that, even though I never made the 1000 dollar goal, she will go through with the surgery to get her sight back.

:) So I will be feeling good for awhile.

Hope that everyone is doing well. Well there are only six days left before the Extra Life starts, where I will be playing 24 hours to raises the money for the Hospital I am sponsoring. Last week I decided to visit the Hospital to see it in person. I was given a tour and met some of the children that were in the hospital. There is one child, a little girl name Sarah, that was the meeting that was the most powerful. She was suffering from a form of brain cancer that left her blind and among over problems. I sat down beside her and talked to her and I told her about what I and among the thousand and upon thousand of other people are doing. Her face light up, the kind that appears on a person face when they have faced despair for all their life. She told me that she had given up hope and didn't want to go through a surgery that can repair her eyes sight. I made her a little bet, I told her that if I reach 1000 by this coming Saturday, then she will have her eyes repair so she can see Hope with her own eyes. Before I left, she gave me that cloth arm bracelet she and her mother made before she was struck down with the cancer. She wanted me to wear it as proof of my goal and promise. And so i am still wearing it.

This will be the last time I will make a post about Extra Life, but I ask once again to anyone that reads this: I am at the halfway point at 500 dollars. I need to get 500 more to reached the goal before or on the 15th. You can donate as low as a dollar. and if 500 people were to donate a single dollar, that will add up. Hope that everyone is doing alright today. Myself things are going alright in classes and such. For my part on Extra Life, things are a bit interesting.

Since posting about it and started, I have managed to raise up to 415 dollar out of my 1000 dollar goal. with less then 3-2 weeks away before I do the 24 hour gaming, it is going alright. Even if I don't reach my goal, I can be happy with the money I have raised to that point and for the fact that since spreading the news around to find donation or inform other people about Extra Life about 15 people have joined the cause because of me :)

Hope that everyone is doing alright today and for the people that went through Irene, I hope that they are alright and that they did not suffer during the storm.

As for my Extra Life drive is coming along, so far I have 137 dollars out of the 1,000 dollar goal. which is about 14% in total. I have put some though into this and I have decided this:

My father once told me that when someone does something good as helping out those in need, they deserve to be rewarded. As this drive is to help out children in the hospitals, I figure that I can reward the ones that help me out with this.

As many people know, I usually get 5-6 commission from Fred Perry at A-kon, when he is at the said con, and post them here. I decided that for something like this drive I figure I can make some sacrifice. So to the three people that make that higher donation on my Extra life, they will earn my commission spots and the best part is that the commissions will come out from my pocket. So one can have up to three characters drawn by Fred Perry for free.

Of course I do not want this to be a competition or to have people fight over this. This is simply rewarding people that really make a difference to what matters the most. If people here don't donate, then that is their choice and I will respect it.

That is right, I am taking part in this donation drive in which I play video games for 24 hours straight and people who are interested donate whatever they want to donate.

of course I am doing a pre run, in which I play/record my gameplay of five games I have already picked and on the 15th of October, what ever game I have beaten or what ever donation I have received, I will replace those games and go all out. I have set my goal for 1,000 but I plan to try to even surpass it :)

^^U I know I haven't posted much in awhile, but I have been working on a important project that is about to become reality.

I am going to do a review how of anime, games and everything else in between. I already have two co-writers, theme song in the works, and a studio being set up. I am current looking for a artist to do title cards for each episodes. Of course I know it will never be free, but I figure I find someone who is interested in having their works on a web show. Out on the lakeside, APienkoss was leaning against a tree facing the lake. His sunglasses slide down to reveal his blue eyes as they stare into the lake. The sound of birds chirping the the gently rustle of the water were heard.

'Someone once asked me of why do I do the things I do.' APienkoss thought to himself as he stared on at the lake, 'Why after all that I have been through, I still help out those that are in need.'

APienkoss looked up as he felt a gently breeze on his body, seeing the sunlight through the leaves of the trees. He smirks as he thinks back to dropping off the commissions to Maverikat, Razorfox, Bornvictim and Lonnie and seeing their excited faces from a distance before disappearing from the scenes.

'True, I may never be well known for the things that I do,' APienkoss smirked as he closes his eyes, 'But at least I know I did good.'

I am actually typing this on my new android smart phone.

Anyway, A-kon is coming up and I know that there are some people here that are going for fun and to meet with Fred Perry. I have a room but with myself it is only filled with three people. So for people that are looking or a place or don't feel like paying for the full price of the room and only part of the room, I have 7 spaces open. Since being on this site, I have rarely made comments about movies and games, if they are good or bad, out in today's market. I have decided to change that policy after seeing the clips for the 'horror' film known as The Human Centipede. Now this is not a true review as I have never see the entire film, only seeing clips and looking up online. You can call this a rant of some sort but regardless I can say with 100% certainty......

'THIS MOVIE IS -CENSOR-!!!!'

So I feel that it is my duty to warn everyone to avoid this movie like it was the Black Plague. I can point out three things that are wrong with this picture:

1. This is not original! Ok, it may be original in 'plot', and I say that lightly, but the way it was presented is redundant and is more confusing then 'scary'. Their is no motivations or lack of explanations of one, and it is just a disturb and sick movie, not 'horror' in any way.

2. This is unrealistic. The clips I saw and bugged the hell out of me is when the doctor explains how the process will be done. I am not a medical student but I can point out several things that are wrong. For one thing the chances of finding people who have the same blood type at random are very low. Yeah there are more then a thousands things wrong with that as the other two people would die of starvation and dehydrations, and I am not even going to point out the infections.

3. THIS IS NOT A HORROR FILM! This is more of a stupid movie that is disturbing and sick. A horror movie is suppose to bring about fear and the 'fight/flight' drive in a person and so far this movie wants to make me find the writer and punch him in the face several times.

Thank god for Youtube, otherwise I might have seen this movie and be ticked off.

I know it has been awhile since I have posted anything but with my classes coming to the end and problems at work, things have been keeping me side tracked.

Anyway, I have started to come up with new ideas for stories, as I have finally found out my problem with writing stories for awhile.

I won't say much about the plot yet, but it does involved Ranma from Ranma 1/2 and Gina Diggers from Gold Digger and the title is called 'Paradox Effect'. As for how long it is, I have no idea yet ^^u

Out in a lakeshore, off from the city, a lone figure was standing on the shoreline. The sunlight was slowly starting to descend down into the horizon. The figure stood at 7’0 and a powerful muscle and a lean tone. On his back is an angelic wing on the right hand side and on the left was a bat-like demonic wing that spread out to 7’0 when fully extended. His outfit was a black coat with metal shoulder pads, black leather pants and boots. Not all of it was black as from the gloves up to the forearm were white with flame designs on the forearm, the same with the boots with flames design reaching his knees and the back of his coat with the flames reaching his mid back. His blonde up stood up and spiked up like a Super Sayjin level two style, but with platinum steaks mixed in his blonde hair. His black sunglasses were lowered as they revealed his blue eyes. The figured sighed deeply as he continued to look out into the lake as the sunset lights sparkled on the lakes surface.

“It never surprises me on how much can happen within one person life, how a simply year can be like a life changing eternity.” APienkoss said to himself.

He closed his eyes and smirked as he listen to the water, the air and the sound of nature around him. All was peaceful and quiet………
