Arf, arf!

I'm not sure if this has caught the attention of y'all, especially my border brothers and sisters.

"Hounded" is a dog-adventure game set in a Flintlock Fantasy world gripped by tyranny. You are Duke, a determined young Border Collie who is searching for their lost master, the leader of The Rebellion. Hounded by a cunning hunter, can you track the scent, unearth the power of The Tide and find your way home?

Hello y'all! *Hugs*

I had a couple of hours to enjoy Anthrocon on Saturday afternoon.

I showed up at the con around 1pm, bounced around the DLCC and around the Dealer's Room for a bit, on my way to where the Parade was lining up.
Got really bored waiting and waiting and waiting for the Parade to start, then had to control the urge to herd it.
The parade was a blast like usual. I had a great time barking and howling at the crowds and giving paw to lots of people young and old.

After a short water break to hydrate and cool off, I bounced around on Penn Avenue playing Fetch with kids and adults who threw my ball for me. Took lots of pictures and selfies with people who were there. It was a ton of fun.

Sadly, had to leave the convention around 3:30pm. Had to get home in time to herd the flocks out of the fields for the night y'all know.

A border's gotta do what a border's gotta do.

Oh! One more thing to add. Y'all, I saw a lot of Bluey pictures, stickers and stuff in the Dealer's Room, but a distinct lack of Mackenzie. Fix this for next year...Please? *hopeful tail wags*

It's been over a month since Anthrocon, surely there'd be more photos posted here by now where I might have a chance to see if more photographers got a pick of me bouncing around the convention?

But then I realize from my own experience how clunky FA's submission process is...and the fact that you have to wait like 10 minutes (exaggeration) between submitting the next piece.

So...where *should* a young, happy go lucky lil border collie be looking for posted photos from Anthrocon?

Girl just told me that she's taking me to Anthrocon on Saturday so I can be in the Parade thingie and interact with the peoples of Pittsburgh!

So, if you're looking to find me, take my picture or take a picture WITH me (Even betters) then that's where and when to find me.

I should be around from Noonish to 3 or 4pm...depending on when Girl thinks I've had enough excitement for one day and takes me home.

Hope to see lots and lots of friends at Anthrocon and hope I can make a bunch more new ones this year too!

Hi, hi!

Just want to say that I had a really, really, really good time at Anthrocon and participating in the parade this year! I hope, if we crossed paths, I helped to share a hug and a smile with a silly, bouncy lil collie!

I just love seeing photos of myself having fun at conventions and since Anthrocon is the only one Girl and I get to each year, it makes it extra special to find pictures of me there.

A little birdie told me that he heard from a squirrel, who heard from a rabbit, who overheard it in a conversation between two doe, who said they overheard three vixens talking at the stream that  swiftfox has a whelpday coming up on Friday, September 18th.

I want to share with you the exciting news that a group of local fursuiters have registered a team to participate in raising money for Canine Cancer Research at this year's Bark and Bowl event being held on November 14th, from 7-10pm, at AMF Noble Manor Lanes in Carnegie!

Our team is aptly named, "Paws for a Cause" and it's being led by Goku, Sebastian, Manick and myself, and we're looking forward to having a blast and building more positive PR locally for the Furry Fandom!

Then I won't be able to get back until the con is all over Sunday night, same time frame, 7-8pm to 11'ish.

As a good she-collie and girlfriend of my delightfully sensitive  dizfoley I have to be flexible when my boy whimpers that he's been noticing that I've been +faving some rather lewd pictures posted to FA. Pictures of well endowed borders, or borders...or just boys in general...being bound and taken by strong, willing she-dogs.

These things...bother my Dizzy-kins and for that reason I've "un-favorited" many pictures tonight. It's nothing against you the artist or commissioner. They were quite enjoyable to look at.

However, healthy relationships are built on communication and compromise and I am doing my part.

So please dear reader, do understand and take no offense.

Girl was talking to me last night while petting me and she told me that my whelpday is coming up.

That's right, April 4th! I had almost totally forgot, what with all the herding, herding, herding and fawning over pictures of my Dizzy-kins. It's hard to remember anything when I look into  dizfoley's dreamy eyes.

Um...where was I?

Oh yeah! My Whelpday!

So she asked me what I wanted for my whelpday. So I looked at her and it didn't take more than a second or two to yip,

"I want my Dizzy-kins!"

She chuckled, ruffled my head fur and told me, "But you already have your Dizzy-kins right here." And she pointed her finger at my heart. "And right here too." She added, taking my Dizzy plush from my doggie bed.

I was starting to feel all melty good and wagging my tail happily at the lovely words.
"But sadly, Dizzy has his responsibilities in Chicago-town, and you have yours on the farm. He's not very good at herding sheep, and you're not allowed to chase cars. I can't take Dizzy out of his world any more than he can take you out of yours." She paused, seeing my ears wilt at her words, put her hand under my chin and lifted my eyes to look into hers. "Your Dizzy-kins wants nothing more than to see you happy, And I know you feel the same way for him. So your shared destiny is to love each other from afar and enjoy the brief moments when you see each other at Herding Trials."

"Unless you're in heat." She thought, but didn't say.

It got my tail a waggin' again cuz I do love my Dizzy-kins, even though we can't be together.

"Then I don't need nuthin' for my whelpday." I told Girl, "I already have everything I need cuz I have you, a warm bed, plenty to eat, a job to do, great friends and  dizfoley too."

My collie-girl friend  RoseHexwit is taking Collie of Duty with her to FWA again, but this time it's an officially published game! Those of you who have been curious about it will have the opportunity to try it out for yourself.

I'm a border collie, which means I'm scarey smart. I've been around you furs for a couple years now and I've noticed a pattern with this Drama you all enjoy so much.

Conventions.

it seems like every time there's a furry convention; and there are a lot of 'em now; some kind of drama pops up. It's like watching everyone out having fun, then some loner on the sidelines, who couldn't go, get's a thorn in their paw and decides to poop on someone's lawn. This gets other people all upset citing things like, "Couldn't you see the sign? It says Curb your Dog?" or "A responsible pet cleans up after their mess. There were poop bags not 10 feet away from where they squatted."

Then it snow balls from there into a scattering of arguments and debates from how green is the grass to the evils of the petroleum industry for making thinner poop bags.

Anyway, I guess the moral of the story is, when you see Drama, just keep on walking and pay it no mind. Don't stop to talk to it, don't give it the apple you didn't eat at lunch or some spare change in your pocket. Just keep on walking and go on to the next scent mark.

I don't have an Inkbunny or a Weasyl to tell you to follow me at. I'm just a simple lil b-collie and one furry art site is enough for me.

My buddy Ashes' fire department is hosting their annual Cash Bash fund raiser to raise money to cover the cost of new equipment and training for it's volunteer members.

Hi hi friends!

Like others I'm scouring FA and the internets for photos taken of me while I was out and about at MWFF this year.

I've seen about four so far and I understand that for every photo I do find, there are five out there that have or will be uploaded to FA, Flicker, Picasso, etc, and twenty which were taken but will never again see the light of day.

But just getting a Bark out that I'm looking and if anyone sees one, please give me a shout or PM with the link, or have the photographer tap me.
