First of all, a bit collie hello to all the furs I had the pleasure to meet at Anthrocon this year! There are too many of you to mention everyone, however  dizfoley  sablewolph  chaosthefurry  Chazzlight  rosehexwit  VitaiSlade and  Dark-paws all come to mind.

Anthrocon is a local convention for me so I don't have a hotel room or anything. I heard that AC was going for the Guiness World Record so I arranged 5 hours away from the pastures to be at Anthrocon for the parade and some bopping around. Got to meet a few other of the fandom's collies also.

The parade was awesome as usual and afterward I bounced around the Dealer's room. I wanted to play some Collie of Duty, but Rose had a very full table so I headed to the ballroom and danced to a live concert by MatthewEbal ( hali) and  Runtt

When the concert was over, it was time for Girl to take me back home.

That was the extent of my Anthrocon 2013. I've seen lots of video of me in the fursuit parade, and I know there are photos of me that were taken, but finding photos is harder cuz folks post them ALL OVER THE PLACE now.

Big thanks to everyone I ran across who helped make my short time at the convention another one to remember!

Sunday Girl gave me a baff...and while I'm not real partial to baffs in general, it was nice to have some one on one time with her and I love how I look after I'm all clean and groomed.

So I've been deemed suitably fit and ready for our summer F'ur-H Herding Trial at Anthrocon next weekend!

Sadly I won't be there on Friday, cuz the sheepies don't watch themselves, but you may see me on Thursday. Otherwise I plan to be there on Saturday for the parade and for a few hours afterward.

Since this trial is pretty much here in our back yard, Girl and I drive back and forth to home.

So if y'all wanna hug or to see me, keep your eyes open on Saturday at Anthrocon.

If you haven't see it yet, all the talk and build up about Equestria Girls these last few months was all because that's the title of the new, MLP FiM Movie coming to theaters in June.

I have to say I was a little concerned when I first heard of the concept of Equestria Girls possibly being the next TV series for FiM. However, after seeing the Trailer, I'm more convinced that this is not a "permanent" thing. What I see now is a 60-90 minute MLP FiM adventure where the Manes (and Spike) travel into the human world and become high school brony cos-players, deal with some teen-age angst issues, their binding friendship brings them all together to solve the problem and defeat the bad girl, one "Sunset Shimmer" who's a former student of Pr Celestia, then find their way back to Equestria and back to their four-hooved selves.

Stop all the OMG'ing and instead get ready for all the new Cos-Play outfits at your next Furry, Anime or Brony con. *laughs*

I mean really, have you learned nothing from the show?

Hi, hi!

Yesterday, 4/4, was my Birthday and I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone of my friends for taking a moment to send fond wishes for a fabulous day!

Girl gave me a big rawhide chew and a bowl of vanilla ice cream. Dizzy gave me a half eaten cupcake. He didn't know how that big bite got taken out of it, but I just ignored the crumbs and icing around his muzzle and smiled at him. It's the thought that counts.

I also got the day off from my herding duties...so I spent it out in the fields with the sheepies anyway.

Hope your day was fantastic too!

Hi, hi FA-watchers!

Christmas was a blast. I got a few things from Girl and the family that I can't wait to share with you all once all the relatives leave and Girl has time to take pictures of me with all my cool stuff.

I got a neat gift from  dizfoley also, but I have no idea what it is because it's still in it's box. Girl wants to wait for me to open so I'm not all hyper, "See? See what my Dizzy-kins got me." annoying to our house guests.

It didn't take me long to overstay my welcome at the family gatherings in the house. I've been spending a lot of time in the barn with the sheepies and other farm animals. *sighs* But relatives are not forever and I'm hoping to get back in the house by the weekend!

So, I hope you had a very Merry Christmas and got lots of neat stuff too.

I got to run agility this last weekend!

It was soooo much fun! Well, not so much fun as herding.

Actually Agility is pretty frustrating. They get you out on course, then you run, run, run your heart out, then suddenly it's over. A few praises, treats and scritches and it's back in your crate.

On second thought, Agility isn't for me. The rush is too short.

Hey folks!

Well big thanks to Noob and the organizers of the Wampum Area Christmas Parade for inviting us back to march in their annual parade.

As usual we're a big hit with young and old alike along the streets of this tranquil mill/mining town along the Beaver River. And there were sheepies there! Real sheepies!! *bounces* Noob and Coaly had to hold me back as instincts were taking over. They let me go play with the "Girl Scout" sheepies though and I even got cookies. Whee!

Sadly due to health and work schedules there were only four of us in suit with Lara and Noob's Mom as handlers and IIIKato Lion there to take photos. In suit was Freya, CoalDog, Noob and I. Smaller numbers meant we had more hugs and zany fun all to ourselves. *LOL* When the parade was over, we weren't done by a long shot. We had about a half hour to cool down, catch our breath and rehydrate before we bounced back out into the gymnasium to entertain the kids waiting in line to see Santa, or pose for photos with them after they'd seen the man in red.

We were done and packed up a little before 4pm, tired to be sure, but also taking away a natural performer's high at bringing so much happiness to the lives of thousands of folks this holiday season. I'll add links to photos when they become available.

With or without a fursuit, we'd love for you to make time to join us in 2013! Mark your calendars for the first Saturday in December 2013...at 11:30am...and help us represent Furry in a positive light.

Big thanks to everyfur who's posted photos from MWFF with me in them.

I'm a little surprised that no one has posted any photos of me in the parade. I wonder, is it because they come out blurry cuz I'm so animated? I'm not sure folks would want an un-animated April, so sorry for the blurry pictures. *blushes*

Also a bit wistful when I look at the group photos of all the suits made by different makers. I'm kinda stuck where neither of the suit makers who created me, Arend and Jillors, count me among their creations.

That makes me a little sad...*ear wilts*...but that doesn't last for long.

I didn't get to bring my camera out and take pictures like I did at AC. Feel kinda bad about that too.

Anyway, it's great to know I bring a smile to everyfur that I meet and people are glad to see me when I get out and about. That's what going to cons is all about for me. Though I kinda wish I had the chance to get to know many of you better. I still feel like I'm on the outside looking in at times.

Anyway, gotta run. Sheep to herd and wolves to throttle!

Second, as you can see I'm posting another round of photos that were taken at Anthrocon. I thought 40 was a lot...I'm looking at over 60 uploads and I'm not done reviewing all the hall portraits that were taken on Sunday. So I'm going to try and post 15 - 20 each day pending play time, agility classes and stuff.

Thank you everyone for the help ID'ing all the suits. Happy bouncy collie can be a little scatter-brained when she turns the herding instinct off. *giggles* Big thanks to all the +favs! It makes me happy to see so many getting enjoyment from my fun taking and interacting with the other critters (and fleshies) at Anthrocon. Every photo was followed by a warm hug. *grins*
