MARRIAGE IS GREAT ~/~ Soon to be more active
Posted 9 years agoAs some of you may know, I got married 3 weeks ago and absolutely LOVING every moment of my new life with milkboneunderwear !!! It's the best thing, not having to say goodbye anymore. We both hated having to say goodbye after a few great days together, or even at night when one of us would leave to go sleep somewhere else.
These three weeks have been so good. We've had so much fun, even as we begin making our new home together and learning about how to function together.
That being said, in the next couple of weeks, I'll be finishing organizing the house with Alec and will hopefully begin taking commissions again to help sustain Alec while he's finishing school.
Not much else to report for now- only that I'm extremely happy and God has been so gracious to us!!!

GETTING MARRIED / updates in life

I've been gone for about 5 months now. After all that FA crud of the site getting hacked, it really pushed me away from using the site much anymore. However, I still get on and check things every once in a while.
Brief updates:
I just finished my senior film that I've been working on for a year. It's not my more prized work, but I got it finished, which is fine to me! I enjoyed my project, but it wasn't something I /really/ wanted to do. About 15 weeks out from doing it, I started to regret my choice in story, but I had a lot of people pushing me to continue it, regardless of my slow dissatisfaction of it.
That being said, it's basically done. Going to be making some tweeks here and there and maybe entering it into a few festivals.
I finish school in about two weeks- YYYEEEEAAAAYYYYY!!!! My whole schooling career will be over, and it will be time to move on and get a job! :o
Also, just something really small and totally not important...
I'M GETTING MARRIED IN A MONTH!!!!!!!
WOO HOO!!!! :D I am SO beyond excited!!! I never thought I would be getting married so soon, nor to such a great man (and he just happens to be a furry- WHAT?!). We're both so excited to share in a new adventure together and be so much closer, all the while glorifying Christ in our new marriage! What a blessing. :)
All that being said, I plan to officially open shop in about a year or so and begin really making a brand name for myself. I'm wanting to focus on fursuits and unique props for fursuiters! :) Hopefully we'll have the time and money to be able to pursue this dream.
The next year is full of exciting things! YAHOO!!!!! :D

FWA - The Conclusion
Posted 9 years agoFurry Weekend Atlanta 2016 - The Best Con Ever
I've only been to three furry cons, but this is by far the best and I believe will remain to be so for a very long time. :)
I got to spend majority of the con with, which was fantastic. We had so much fun reminiscing and thinking about how a year ago we hardly knew each other. Now, we're best friends who are dating and enjoying life to the fullest! It's such a blessing to see all that has happened in a year. :)
Also, several people remembered me from last year/AC, which REALLY surprised me. I got so many exciting welcome's and hugs from so many different people. I could feel the love so much, and it was fantastic.
We also had a director and producer working on a music video for the con, and we got to help them out a bunch! (PompandClout if you're curious) We're super excited to see what they come up with in the next few weeks after all their shots. They were extremely nice and open to the fandom, which was so great to see! The producer even said he wanted to try and make it back to next years FWA! :D
The Highlights:
-Humphrey seeing me in the lobby and giving me the biggest hug in the world
-Sadie and Atsu remembering me from AC
-Participating in suit floor wars
-Getting to be genderbent Alec / Alexis for the battle
-Better yet... Participating, going against T, and ending first round in a TIE! What an honor! :D
-Watching T totally school everyone in floor wars and win!
-Getting to try on
's suit, Hatsuki <3
-Watching and 
suit swap. XD
-Meeting Jake Rabbit and his friend and telling us all about the furry fandom back in the 90's
-Having the honor to be one of my all time favorite suits, Ragtime, on Sunday! <3 Seriously, wow. :D
-Getting to walk around as a human with Alec and hold his paw
-Driving to and from the con with
and getting to talk about so many things. <3 Also "WEE'UN", "SMADO", and several other inside jokes. <3
It's going to be hard to beat that at future cons. But with all the friends I made and was reunited with at this con, I also don't see it being impossible to surpass with another fantastic con in the future. ;)
Also, going to give a huge shout out to my man, :milkboneunderwearuser: for being such a fantastic guy to me. He's so loving, thoughtful, and kind in so many ways, and this con wouldn't have been HALF of what it was without him by my side. It's been so fun getting to know him over a year (as i said before) and just see how we've grown. Thanks for being patient with me and putting me first in so many situations. There's no one I would rather be with in my life, and I can't wait to see where God takes us. <3
All that being said, thanks again to everyone at the con, and I can't wait for next year! :D

The room is for Thursday through Sunday and will be $99.05 split between us.
We are a chill room, no parties. Fursuiters and artists are more than welcome.
We ask that you don't bring random people back without getting consent from whoever is in the room at the time, just out of respect for the other room mates.
We are friendly, non smoking, respectful, and all experienced con going adults (we have one new fur con goer, but they've attended other conventions prior).
We request that you practice good hygiene, respect other people's properties, and keep noise reduced while others are sleeping.
Please comment below if you are interested!
If you need a ride that might be possible as well, though we're coming from southern Georgia, so there's a slim chance depending on where you live.

I've returned from the depths of fursuit making to say HELLO! :D
From now until FWA I'll be trying to set up commissions, badges, ych, etc. However, between school and working on things, I might be slower than usual so bear with me!

Out of town / Updates!

I will be out of town from today until late tomorrow (I have to work in the evening) and will be busy Sunday with a church Christmas party and getting our tree.
Therefore, the commissions and YCHs won't be done until sometime next week. I'm also rushing to finish a suit commission, so I won't be doing much more drawing until that's done.
Thanks for being patcient with me. :) Yall are the best!

Posted 10 years agoI'm attempting to redesign Aqua-Frost, and have been in a rut about it for almost the entire year. I've been trying so hard to tackle it the past week or two, but there's still no 100% satisfaction. :/ I continue to doubt or not like certain aspects and don't know how to change them.
Does anyone have any recommendations or tips? Or even some advice to offer? At this point, anything would help because I'm extremely burnt out and frustrated with my several failed attempts at a new and improved design...

FWA ROOMS?! / Update

Anyway, I was curious as to who is going to FWA? I know hotel rooms open up on Friday, and I guess I need to figure out what I'm doing for that. If you know of anyone who is getting a room and has space, let me know! :)

Posted 10 years agoI woke up at 8:00 AM this morning to a phone call from my boyfriend. His car broke down on the way to see me here in Savannah, and he is very disheartened. The cost to both tow AND fix his car is a lot, and I really want to help him out.
Therefore, I'm opening three commission slots to try and help him. They should be finished before next weekend!

AUNTY AQUA!!!! / Updates

Happy Labor day! It's a fantastic day, celebrating the achievements of American workers, but also a new life in the family! My sister-in-law had her son last night at 3am, which makes me a new and first-time aunt! I cannot express my joy in words. It truly was an amazing thing to be apart of.
To be honest, the idea of child labor freaks me out to a major extent, and all last night while we were waiting in the hospital, it just gave me the willies thinking about it. However, the moment we stepped into the room and saw the baby, all of that worry and thought of how agonizing it must be just vanished. I got a glimpse of what it's like to hold your child after waiting over 9 months, and it blows me away.
We're going up to visit them today for a bit, but then I'll be back to work on some commission pieces.
I leave for school in 3 days and will be busy this week trying to pack everything back up again.
I've just got a whole mix of emotions engulfing me this week; New nephew, moving, reminiscing, realizing it's my last full year, knowing I only have half a year left with my best friend (who attends school with me), getting to see my boyfriend/best friend again, saying bye to my family until winter, missing the smells and colors of fall, not being home for my Birthday, going back to school and stressing over projects and assignments, trying to make enough money for school, etc etc etc. The list goes on and on... All of this (and more) has really been weighing on me, and it's scary. Sometimes it'll be so overwhelming that I just sort of start to sob out of the blue. However, I know that I need to put my trust in God's hands right now and not rely on my own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). I look forward to what He has planned for me and I know I have a lot of great things in store that are ahead.
Anyway, all that being said, I'm only taking on one more set of commissions in the next couple of days and then will be taking an absence for at least a week or two before getting back at it.
Thank you all who follow and support me in what I do. It's been a great encouragement to me, especially going back to art school, to see people that actually enjoy my work. :)

Delays due to Family . . .
Posted 10 years agoI apologize to anyone who has been waiting on commissions for me the past few days. I've been busy running errands and trying to spend as much time with my friends and family before I leave for the South again.
On top of that, there's been some things popping up with my family, which I refuse to go into detail about here. It's nothing I have /against/ my parents, but quite the opposite. My mom and dad are going through a tough time, and I feel utterly helpless and it's been tearing me up the past couple days. I've tried to be there for them as much as I can, which in turn has taken time.
I'll be going to lunch with a good friend of mine, but afterward will be coming home to finish the commissions/YCH's.
I'm sorry to anyone who has been waiting on something from me. It should all be up soon.

Anthrocon was the most fantastic experience, and every moment after the con has been great too. My job at the movie theater has been great, though I'm starting to miss my friends from school who understand all my nerd outs and dorky references. :P
I haven't been drawing too much, but it's been a good break. I can feel my motivation slowly bubbling again and by the time school starts, I know I'll be more than ready to jump back into the groove of school! :D
I'm very content and joyful. This summer has been above and beyond what I expected. I've gotten to spend so much time with and we've grown really close. He's one of the best friends I've ever had, and I'm excited to see where the future takes us! We're taking it slow and just enjoying the time we have together. :) Such a blessing! <3
Despite my lack of drawing and art, I've been consumed by so many other things.... work has obviously taken up a lot of time, but I've also been desperately trying to hang out with some of my old friends from this area before I have to leave. Since this is my last full year of school, so it is for several of my friends in this area, which means many of them are moving away next year.... I hate the feeling of growing up, but I /am/ excited to see where all my friends end up. :)
I'm working on a suit commission currently for my buddy Infinite, though progress has gone slower than I expected. He'll be done before the end of 2015, to say the least. :)
I'm not sure how active I'll be on here, but I'll continue to post pictures from conventions and some of my art work!
