Completely booked until FWA.
Posted 10 years agoI'm looking at my schedule, and I really am just completely slammed with work. Not only am I coming to finals for my second quarter at SCAD this year, but also trying hard to get my partial done before FWA. On top of homework, it's extremely hard. I have a week break coming up, which I'll be finishing my head in that time span, BUT it's absolutely crazy. I also have a few other things I want to get done by FWA (gifts and junk), so it'll be hard trying to fit it all together. @-@
I'm super excited though! The plans are coming together, and I've got my money saved. :3 I'd love to take a few more badge commissions before FWA just to get some more cash, but they'd be simple and most likely not laminated/shipped...
Anyways, that's me ranting. And procrastinating homework, of course. XD

A heavy weight...
Posted 10 years agoToday it felt like a heavy weight was lifted off my shoulders...
I drove up to Statesboro to visit some of my friends today. Going to be honest in saying that I woke up and didn't even feel like going... But I needed to get out and do something different, so I got myself out of bed, packed my suit stuff, and drove up to their apartment.
The entire day was perfect- Got tons of work done this afternoon with, relaxed around the house, watched some movies and listened to some music, talked a lot about life, ran to Hobby Lobby for supplies, came back, and basically chilled for the rest of the evening. I was only going to stay until about 3 or 4, but ended up staying until 10. XD
Anyways, it was just an incredible day. I have tons of homework still, yes, but I'm happy and content, so I think it should be easier to get at it tomorrow. :)
A bit shout out to all of my friends, and especially the following-
and 
- Thank you so much for the drawings. They brought a smile to my face, even when I was in tears. It means a lot that you would take the effort to draw something just for me, so thank you from the bottom of my heart. <3
- Thank you for your support and love. You've been one of the most generous and loving people I've met, and I always feel like I can talk to you about anything. Your way with words and understanding of people helps so much, and my life would be much different without you in it. You're always there for me, and I appreciate it. Thank you. :)
- I'm glad we can finally talk again and that we've made amends. You're a sweet guy, and I love talking to you. You're one of the few people in the fandom that has a good sense of mind, it seems, and I love that we can talk about the past so easily, yet also focus on the future. - Dude, I cannot tell you enough how awesome it is to be your best friend, let alone have you as a friend! You're seriously one of the coolest people I know and one that i seem to miss the most. You ALWAYS help me, no matter what, and I know you're always there to talk. I'm ecstatic that you're coming here for FWA, and I can't wait to spend time with you again!!! I know that if I'm ever in a tight spot, you'd be there to help me through it. Just a little update, because I haven't done anything in a while.
School is kicking my butt. :'D I have three studios, and they're all challenging. I'm getting through, but with not a lot of sleep or social interaction. I only have one friend out of all the people from my three classes, and so it's pretty lonely.
ANYWAYS, Tonight I decided to take some time and go to the Savannimals game night.
First of all, the Guild hall is EPIC. Holy crap, I love it so much.
Second of all, I had such a fantastic night. I forgot how much I missed group social interaction. I haven't felt that comfortable or happy in a long time. Sure, MLK is fun, but it's more about entertaining other people and you get exhausted really quick. This was so much more relaxing, and I loved it! I met some new people and made new friends! <3
Not sure how much art will be getting done, but hopefully I'll get time to do a little bit!

Posted 10 years agoI haven't been posting a lot, and I apologize. We started school again two weeks ago, and I've been busy trying to get back into the groove of things.
Recently I've had a major obsession with the Hobbit movies, so they've been on repeat in my dorm room as I work on things.

So this quarter I'm going to be cracking down on my animation and working hard to learn a lot more! On top of that, I'll be trying to finish my partial of Celeste before FWA!

First of all, I updated my friends list! I'm sorry not everyone is on there- FA only lets me put a limited amount of avvies/links to names. :/ I really do love you all, and I thank you all so much for watching and supporting me! :)
Second, I will be finished with this school quarter in 6 days!!! This weekend I will be cranking on final projects, but I'm so excited to be done~! I'm ready to go home and curl up on the couch to watch the snow fall. :3
I'll be doing a TON of art over my 6 week break to try and raise money for my FWA trip!!! Without commissions, I can't go to the con. :/ So I'll be trying my hardest to get some good work done! If you know anyone interested in art/commissions, PLEASE let me know!!! :3
Finally, Tonight was the finale for the SCAD furs quarter! We all went out bowling in suit, and it was a BLAST!!! I haven't had that much fun in a while, and it was a good way to kick back and chill out before cranking the rest of the weekend. I made new friends, became closer to old friends, and I cannot be more thankful for such a fantastic night! :D Everyone is just so fun and friendly, and I feel like I can be myself. <3 So, thank you to EVERYONE that went, because you made my night beyond amazing. And thank you to the head honcho's of SCAD furs for hosting the event- I know it takes a lot of effort and patience, but it was a real treat for everyone. :)

As of now, I'm 99% sure I'm going to FWA next year! :D There's a group of us who have two rooms booked and a lot of the details are worked out!

Thank you so much for being there for me. For all the love and support I've received from you guys. The fandom is so loving and welcoming, and the ones I've met in person have just been so kind. No matter what, y'all are there for me. This mostly goes out to the WVU furs and Savannimals. Much love to you all ♥♥♥
However, I'm going to be stepping back from the fandom a bit. I'll mostly be keeping contact with the friends that I know in person. Besides that, you won't see much of me on here or on my furry Facebook.

It's coming down to the end of summer and all I've been doing is working...
Everyone who goes to college is gone or about to leave, and I'm stuck here for another 3 weeks, which means that I'm the one to get scheduled ALL the time cuz I actually know what I'm doing...
I'm having some family troubles. Nothing super serious, but my mom is on me all the time about my money situation... I've worked 3 times as much this summer (I literally have 3 jobs), and yet she's still angry at me...
Everyone is upset I haven't done their commissions, even though I haven't gotten paid for them at all... I try to explain myself, and yet they just get more upset... They don't understand that the more they get upset at me, the more I don't want to do it... *sigh* Guess I should just suck it up...
Sunday is the first day I actually have OFF.
I'm going to take half the day to myself to rest, then the other half I'll be working on commission work and attempting to catch up on stuff.
This journal really is just my rambling because I need to get my thoughts out.
