I just wanna watch my favorite artists, regardless of their choice to stay on FA or not. Btw, anyone know any mass user searches for for FA->Ib?

Electronic/blu-ray help
Posted 12 years agoI have no real intention of getting a blu-ray system at this time, but I was wondering what I would actually need to get before I did. I changed my Amazon list to combos (blu-ray+DVD) where available in order to make the switch (whenever that is) easier. I am currently looking at a standard player, a USB player, and a 3D player and was curious what each needed to work. Help?

Crossroads
Posted 12 years agoI am currently at a major crossroad in my life. There is a new supportive living complex opening here in Champaign this year (I hope, maybe early next year). I have broken down and accepted I can't do this anymore and I need help/assistance to continue living a decent life. Now, I do hope to continue being a part of the fandom, etc. So I will still be here and active, though more limited.
The problem is, the cost of living there will be 90% of my SSI check. I plan to sell my car as I will no longer be able to afford insurance/gas. However, I also have years of accumulated debt, and try as I have I cannot pay it off. So I am asking/pleading for you guys to help. This is the only way I can find to do this.

Thursday: Got in and suited 'til 1pm.
Friday: Very laid back. Suited about 4-5 hours total.
Saturday: never-ending fursuit parade. Floor Wars (meh). Fursuit charades, fun and got rather naughty/murr XD. Suited 2-4 hours.
Sunday: Dance competition, best ever! Amazing performances and winners were MY picks this time!! Fursuit games were ok. Suited for 5-6 hours.
Great con! Thanks con staff and hotel!
Coulda used more hug/snugs/cuddles/kisses/gropes though ;)

Thursday: Ended up leaving around 6pm, got to the hotel around 12:30, crashed at 2
Friday: missed breakfast. (stupid restaurant barely open all weekend :P) Went to Fursuit Meet n Greet. Ryngs made a snide comment during my turn so I flicked him, spawning a round of LOLs :) Got to play with Mystery Otter and his big fish :D
Saturday: fursuit parade n lounging. Had dinner in suit and went to fursuit games. On Firr's turn, he grabbed me a tried to push me into the bowling pins :D
Sunday:.....the craziest day at a con EVER! Went to Osaka (hibachi). Began storming/power flickering. Mostly stopped and left. Was 90% in suit when I noticed the lobby outside the room had gone deathly silent. Throw the head on left to be told in the hall to go upstairs due to a flash-flood warning. We also got a tornado warning so they herded us into the amphitheater for about half an hour. Power went off so I was stuck up stairs when we were released.
Sat around in suit watching boardgames with emergency lighting. Suddenly, A staff member (staff member A) comes and pulls the head off and yanks on the arms. I hear a call over the nearest radio "Aragorn is about to pass out, all staff come help get him downstairs and out of suit!" (FYI: I was fine :P)
A herd of staff surrounded me, while staff member A is still panicing. Tyger comes over, tells him to calm down and tells me the temperature was going up 10*/hr so they thought it best to take me downstairs and out of suit. 6 staff members (2 each side, front and back) carry me down the stairs while the rest cleaard the stairs. Upon rushing me to the room, staff member A begins ripping my suit off (almost literally). We got back out of the "hot" room and before the door can close the power pops on :P
Thanks anyways for the help guys. :)

Softball/Pride
Posted 13 years agoWent to softball w/ RC as Quasi was busy. Uneventful, a little dusty but just a nice, relaxing day out w/ friends :) Went to Sweet Tomatoes w/ the group to partake in the yummy buffet...3 plates + ice cream :D The only downer the entire weekend was when me n RC tried to go to a movie, the lot was 100% full and all the stored closed @ 9!!!! Went back to hotel n watched poker until Graywolf brought "Cards Against Humanity". Hilarious time w/ Exile, Dante & others :D
Next morning showered, got McD's McGriddle (yum!) and went Pride. Eventually found group and enjoyed socializing. Watched my first Pride Parade (all 2 hours of it :P) Surprised @ the # of churches o.o Found a few interest bars I didn't know about. Got hammered w/ beads n stuff. Vegans tried recruiting me, not the group, ME? Also targeted for Yoga instruction, tempted to try just to figure out why she came to me!
Dinner @ Leona's w/ group. Good food and Elliot (I think) paid for the entire group!
Definitely the best weekend in months!

Posted 15 years agoI have moved my database over to Photobucket, easier to upload and manage as LJ doesn't have a bulk uploader. Works the same owner (fursuit). If you want to con just hover over the pic. I have not finished numbering them so if you get ahead of me just refer to the file name by hovering.
