A very similar deal to last time! So most of this journal will be very familiar.
You'll more than likely see some extra uploads before/between/after the commissions as we are in fact sitting on multiple almost, or completely, finished fics! May not look like it, but we've got quite a backlog of disorganized stuff. Commissions, of course, will see prio.

- Or a more indepth developed 10k fic – some examples here as well, both of which also ballooned, but were more complex in design;

Status Update: Commissions, New Fics, Old Fics
General | Posted 3 years agoGreetings once again. We do these updates every half a year or so, and this is about time, especially as there’s an increasing amount of interest in our projects. Well, okay, mostly it’s people asking for commissions. And some fics could be doing better. And, yeah, to be totally fair, every time we make a status update, we tend to contradict our plans anyway.
Life’s been rough, as you know from our last update. This summer though, not so bad! As you’ve seen, we’ve been releasing more often. More often than never! LOL!
This trend will continue. At the moment of writing, we actually have 2 completed fics more or less ready to upload, with 2 more that are close to being finished. Honestly, we’ve just been giving our latest upload some time to stew.
Using an opportunity, here’s a plug to this fic. We’re pretty damn confident this is the best straight up tickle torture porn we’ve ever done. When it comes to raw porn appeal, one wonders if we’ll ever match it. It may not have as many of our usual frills, but boy is it jam packed with some hot stuff!
On this note, it’s worth noting that our latest uploads – the Dragon Punishment commissions, the Applejack fic, and multiple of our upcoming fics – have much in common. Cards on the table, this is because you’re going to be dealing with ExTor for the coming future. That’s right, the overwhelming majority of uploads and commissions are going to be coming from him, with Arcadias providing editing and other auxiliary aid. In the past, it used to be the other way around.
And ExTor, well, he’s kind of found a niche. Some of these upcoming fics are going to have some similar features. A couple of these fics are quite self-gratifying if we say so ourselves. Well, you’ve read worse!

Old Fics - Beyond Broken etc.
When it comes to our old fics – like the list of future plans we once posted, and our Beyond Broken Celestia fic, there’s an update on those. The upcoming uploads? None of them have been foreshadowed in the past, all are new creations. Celestia? Still set to be finished. The fact is, both that old list of fics, and Celestia, are worked on by Arcadias, who isn’t quite back in the game yet.
Only recently was he able to get back to writing to any degree, so yeah, it takes time.
Treat anything that features our OCs Obsidian and Pebbles as an AU from the Breaking verse – because, well, it actually is. There may be uploads featuring them in Scraps or elsewhere that will be from a different continuity.
In any case, this is the part everyone’s most interested in.

Fics we accept will be rather limited, however. We’ll aim for simpler scenes. A max of 10k words (projected for; it’ll always balloon!), a decently straightforward setup, and some degree of freedom in methods for us.
Basically, we’ll be taking commissions that shouldn’t prove too difficult to actually pull off without defaulting on a payment! So, we’ll go after what we enjoy. Think of these limitations as us having a more strict array of will do’s rather than a limiting array of won’t do’s.
With exception of our most recent upload, you can look at the fics uploaded since this May and get a taste of where we’d like to aim at.
Air Wolf, mind you, is a very specific commission that was arranged in a very, very different way – quite a while ago – and we can only take one of those at a time.
As for pricing: you’ll effectively have 2 options.
- a super simple no frills 5k fic - $50;
- a more indepth developed 10k fic - $100.
Payment will be given via PayPal in advance.

Planning Ahead + Life Updates/QA
General | Posted 4 years agoHey there, been a while. Over the years, I've mostly kept details about my life private and completely disconnected from my writing pursuits, not for any particular reason, but simply because I've never been interested in using this as a soapbox to look for sympathy regarding personal problems, or to use this as a soapbox to make political statements, or really anything like that. I'm here to post smut, at the end of the day. At the same time, over the years I've accrued quite the loyal fanbase, and I do feel an obligation just to reach out and say hey, things have been pretty goddamn rough for a while, for both of us. Sickness, death, all the bad things in life.
Now though, I'm hoping to look forward, and keep on delivering, after the regrettably necessary leave of absence. With that in mind, some updates and plans moving ahead! Most importantly of all, no, nothing is cancelled. Everything I mentioned way back when is still going to manifest. Quite a lot more than that, as a matter of fact. Even though times have been stressful, neither of us have sat idle, and we've developed quite the backlog of work to finish, polish and eventually get to uploading. Breaking of Celestia will of course, continue. I have a lot of sentiment for it, chipping away at it over life's many ups and downs, and it's not something I'd ever let go completely, no matter the molassic pace.
If anyone saw my Tangle upload, you can now expect FA and DA uploads to be synched. No idea why I wasn't doing this already, but there you go. Expect smaller, albeit, more frequent uploads, as opposed to being dumped the fetish equivalent of Tolstoy's War and Peace every time we reappear from the abyss.
Lastly, of course, I'd like to extend my well-wishes to everyone, and hope everyone's had a good start to the year so far.
And since I'm choosing to be a little more candid than usual, and seeing as our very close friend
fetishsketches has chosen to do this too, to heck with it, huh? You ever had a question to ask us, any polite curiosities, fire away. Within reason, of course.

March 2020! - Big Announcements! (Project List)
General | Posted 5 years agoHi all, been a while. A few people have been sending me some comments lately, asking what's the lowdown on ongoing projects and the like, so I decided to clarify, and maybe even drum up some excitement for what's to come, and I'm very sorry I haven't been more vocally active with this little community I have here. 2019 was definitely a bit of a slow year on this profile, but a new year has turned over a new leaf and this is looking to perhaps be our best year for writing yet.
So, with all that said, first off, Beyond Broken Celestia. I mentioned back in October a new part was due out soon, and I haven't quite kept that deadline, but you can be assured it's definitely still in the makings, and up to par with the usual quality you can expect. It's... definitely a long fic, and the longest project I've done. I'm simultaneously really flattered people are still so keen with it, and sorry I haven't been able to deliver on it more frequently. With that said, it's still coming! Believe me, sometimes it can be a nightmare writing these book-sized fics, keeping continuity with the series and making sure the tone and the characters remain the same. Not that I don't have fun with it, of course. To wrap that up though, the next part should still be the near future, after one or two more smaller projects are complete. After that, I'll likely alternate between new projects and continuing Celestia.
Anywho, as for the big announcement. We're used to really writing one big project at a time at a fairly simmering pace. If anything, we've found sticking to one tough project long term slows down our work quite a bit, obviously. But as said earlier, our goal for this year is to have a productivity renaissance of sorts. Providing all of you with a far larger amount of varied content.
The recent Vinyl/Octavia fic was the start of me trialing something a little new, and if that's not quite to your taste palette, that's perfectly fine, because if you're here reading this, something certainly will be.
The big announcement itself is in fact, a project list! It's not quite definitive, as there's not necessarily a confirmation of date on any of these, outside of the fact you'll be seeing them in the first half of this year, mostly. Except the ones marked with asterisks - those have progress and commitments, but take lower precedence.

So, with all that said, first off, Beyond Broken Celestia. I mentioned back in October a new part was due out soon, and I haven't quite kept that deadline, but you can be assured it's definitely still in the makings, and up to par with the usual quality you can expect. It's... definitely a long fic, and the longest project I've done. I'm simultaneously really flattered people are still so keen with it, and sorry I haven't been able to deliver on it more frequently. With that said, it's still coming! Believe me, sometimes it can be a nightmare writing these book-sized fics, keeping continuity with the series and making sure the tone and the characters remain the same. Not that I don't have fun with it, of course. To wrap that up though, the next part should still be the near future, after one or two more smaller projects are complete. After that, I'll likely alternate between new projects and continuing Celestia.
Anywho, as for the big announcement. We're used to really writing one big project at a time at a fairly simmering pace. If anything, we've found sticking to one tough project long term slows down our work quite a bit, obviously. But as said earlier, our goal for this year is to have a productivity renaissance of sorts. Providing all of you with a far larger amount of varied content.
The recent Vinyl/Octavia fic was the start of me trialing something a little new, and if that's not quite to your taste palette, that's perfectly fine, because if you're here reading this, something certainly will be.
The big announcement itself is in fact, a project list! It's not quite definitive, as there's not necessarily a confirmation of date on any of these, outside of the fact you'll be seeing them in the first half of this year, mostly. Except the ones marked with asterisks - those have progress and commitments, but take lower precedence.

I am of course, pleased to let everyone know fic writing work has recommenced! Yes indeed, the Breaking of Celestia continues into its latter half. For those who have seen Caroo's latest Pebbles/Obsidian pic, do expect to see such a scene play a role!
Now, for anyone around here who my stuff, be it F/M, M/M, F/F and any other variety in between I'm forgetting, a very good friend of mine has recently started his smut writing career! Much like ourselves, he specializes in the same fetishes I do (which if you're reading this, you wouldn't really need to be told what those are), and mixes in some other sexual stuff for good measure. The version of our fic that was uploaded for an entire day was absolutely broken - Day 1 was duped, but an entire chapter was missing, not to mention formatting issues especially at the end. We can't explain jack fuck about this. It's awful. Our morale is pretty fartfaced at the moment. Please do leave a favorite and stuff if you did so for the original? Many apologies once again, you can imagine how frustrating this is for us especially. There you have it folks, technical difficulties aren't just a problem for artists. They can strike writers too. This time, hopefully for reals, the document should be fine.
But it's a good excuse for us to plug our deviantArt page, though! Cause it's completely bereft of those sorts of issues, and actually tends to have slightly more refined fics, since we occasionally stop missed typos and such as we prepare for posting. However, our FA readers are actually getting the stories much earlier than the dA crowd, as we space the fics out into chapters out there. Which may make for a more interesting experience, in fact, who knows. In any case: http://arcadianforests.deviantart.com/
This presents a good opportunity to mention a few more things, as well. First of all: more milestones! 12.5+k on FA since of this year, and 40+k on dA, so 2.5k and 10k on each site respectively, both over the span of time between March and August. Not too bad at all, and, of course, we do have to thank everyone who spread the word. Especially caroo.
Second of all, our plans for the immediate future.
1) Next Friday we are uploading
existentialtorment's newest fic, a continuation of Surviving in the Sky, which will expectedly cover Month Two. As with the previous, it's going to be a 5-story anthology clocking in at over 100 pages. A nice thicc read with character stuff and shit for people who are into that stuff, refined to be easier to get through and less rambly all over the place.
2) Next weekend we will also be making a bit of a different upload - a cancelled story of ours. The continuation to a 2015 fic, in fact - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17529797/ . It was meant to cover the remaining 3 ponies and have a climactic ending, but it just wasn't working. Only one scene was completed in full, the second cutting off near the end. Plainly speaking it was discontinued for a reason, the ideas just weren't good enough, the quality wasn't there, it's possibly our biggest whoop since the Eriscotch fic. At this rate our writing styles have changed so much that continuing it will be insanely awkward, and to top that off, the ideas for the final scenes were severely lacking. If SOMEHOW this upload gains a lot of interest, then we may consider finishing it? But it'll more than likely involve us basically rewriting it all, because to be honest, the original fic doesn't hold up very well either.
2.5) Multiple other stories that have been planned for, and some that even had progress made in them, have been cancelled as well, for various reasons.
3) At some point this month, depending on when Caroo gets to it, a certain picture he'll be making as a commission for ExTor will have a big fic-length decription written for it. It won't truly be a fic like the ones we normally make, but it'll be a greater version of the mini-fics that were written for the colored up Caroo sketches. You can look forward to that, it'll be pretty intense.
4) The rest of the year (possibly bleeding into 2018) will see about two more major fic releases, both penned mostly by yours truly. There will be another story in our Sleepoverse continuity, which will introduce Glimglam into the cast and be a break from the insane mind-shattering fucktorture we've been writing all summer. After that, yet another continuation of a Sleepoverse storyline, albeit this time we'll be meeting our bird and dragon again, with their victim in Shiny, although it's not quite that simple.
5) There'll be a break after that, for quite a few months. E.T. may have new stories coming out in 2018, but he's more than likely not making any more original fics for the rest of this year. Overall though the next year may not be as fruitful, but we won't count our chickens until they hatch.

General | Posted 8 years agoHi! Random update for anyone out there who's listening, just a short thing I felt worth mentioning. A dual landmark, of sorts. We've now hit the point where we're at 30,000+ pageviews on Deviantart and 10,000+ on Furaffinity.
Really, I don't think either of us anticipated success of this degree, so it really warms the heart to see so many people looking out for our stuff. It's usually quite tricky for writers to attract views to an artist's extent, so we really should consider ourselves quite fortunate indeed. So, all in all, thank you, to whomever is reading this. It's hard to say whether we'd still be writing like we were if no one was paying attention quite like this so, it means a lot.
On a less personal note, the book sized Scootaloo fic is going to be continued tonight! For those interested in reading this ginormous undertaking. A secondary thanks goes to the handful of individuals who have already commented on the prologue, naturally.

A year later I'm still surprised I've been as popular as I have, but I'd be lying if I said if it wasn't for regular support from caroo and his shoutouts. Along the way I even picked up a buddy ( ExistentialTorment) and we've been an inseparable duo ever since. So we'd like to announce we'll now be uploading to Deviantart as well, as we've heard people there would like to read our stuff. Nothing will change here, of course, just another place to upload stories to.

Regarding Commissions
General | Posted 11 years agoSince a small handful of people have already asked whether I take commissions or not (something I'm quite flattered by too), I decided I'd clarify a few things.
I write for fun! I will always gladly hear out requests, I may not always act on them instantly, or even at all, but sometimes I drain myself dry of creativity and need to hear some outsider ideas to keep the proverbial ball rolling.
Even though my financial circumstances aren't fabulous, as I said to a particular requester, I'd feel like I'm writing not because I enjoy it, but because I need some dosh on the side. That and I'd feel like it may ultimately diminish my enjoyment of doing this.
So, to everyone who's been kind enough to ask if I do commissions, I wholeheartedly thank you. But unless one day I do an uncharacteristic back flip on my morals, I'll continue to hear people out, and ask for nothing, save people to keep on reading and hopefully enjoying what I put out there. On that note, my next story will be finished tonight, so if you're a big fan of male tickling, prepare your loins for that.
