Well, today's my 66th trip around the Sun.

I was close to my Mom, and helped out when and where I could.

She died of dementia, spent the last couple years in an assisted living facility.

I sure do miss her.

Just found out Brian O'Connell died July 2nd, I have a few works by him in my "archive" of furry art.

Apparently some people are angry at him, he had a habit of taking commissions, accepting money and never doing the work.

Well, I've seen all kinds here in the furry fandom, from Bible thumping to flat-out child-molesting pervert.

Most though are just average like me, I enjoy art, and have created a few renders myself.

My first camcorder was an RCA VHS recorder, the thing was the size of those news cameras, and heavy!

Did take great videos though.

One of the formats I converted for my friend, (putting his old videos onto DVD,) was VHS-C.
I have an older VHS VCR, and an adapter for the tapes.

Then came 8mm, I have a Hitachi camcorder that doubles as a player for 8mm videotapes.
Did 5 or 6 of those for my friend.

I still have an el-cheapo digital camcorder that records onto SD cards.

I also have a high-end camcorder that does likewise.

And I have a GoPro.

At my Youtube, is some 8mm films converted to digital video, and stuff I recorded using the different digital camcorders and the GoPro.

It's been over a decade since "My Little Pony" restarted, and while sure, the TV show was aimed at younger girls, a lot of older teens and even adults enjoyed it too, looking for the silly takes on popular culture, even a few R-rated movies were satirized in the show, like "The Big Lebowski."

But they never had a videogame, at least until now.

I did my "bucket list," last September, saw, waded in and tasted the ocean.

So what can I do this year?

No Disney trip, just too expensive!

Hard to believe, 30 years ago, I moved into this apartment.

Had some ups and downs, but I like it here, I have my kitchen/media room, bedroom, bathroom with shower, and washroom with washer and dryer.

Do I plan on staying here for much longer? You bet.

Friday the 17th I'll be flying to Georgia, to stay the weekend with a friend, and the next Monday I'll be flying to northern California to stay the week with an older sister.

One thing I am looking forward to is seeing redwood trees and the ocean for the first time.
(On my bucket list.)

On the following Friday I return home to Wisconsin.

My last trip out of state was in 1996, a trip to Maryland, went to Washington DC and saw the Air And Space Museum.

I bought one of these gadgets that converts 8mm and Super8 movies to digital files.
(No sound, though.)

Converted several of my own home movies to digital, and have posted them to my Youtube account.

And if anyone in my family or any friends ask me, I'll put their home movies onto DVD's.
I do charge for the blank DVD's, (or you can buy them yourselves,) $1 per minute of the actual movies, and postage. (Which isn't much.)

Lots less than what the professional services charge.

And gives me something more to do, I haven't converted any vinyl records or cassettes to CD's in some time.

Have I really "gone green" with my e-bicycle?
Yes, it has no emissions.

BUT...

Many of the parts are made from minerals mined under environmentally and worker unsafe conditions.

And I do have to recharge the battery. (Which itself is a polluter, if I threw it out.)

So while I'm not driving a car with a gasoline engine, it's not "green," in reality.

2020 could be bad for some people, but it was pretty much another year for me, that included that $1200 first stimulus check.
The worst thing for me in 2020 was my Mom died in October.
