When I am done, I will send you a PNG both at normal size and zoomed in, as well as a version with guides for cutting the image yourself if you wish to print it. I do not currently have a printer, so I can't print and send you a version, but you are more than welcome to print it yourself.

Hello all 80 of my watchers, and however many random passersby I may get. Today is a glorious day truly, as I am going to open a limited number of commission slots. I will be taking ten slots for either pixel or bust badges and avatars at the price of $25 per slot. All of my work is digital, and as such, you will not receive a printed version. You will get a high resolution PNG for bust badges, suitable for printing, and an upscaled PNG for pixel badges, along with a regular scale version if desired. For an extra $5, I will also give the original PSD files.

In general, I will accept payment after the commission is complete, not before, so I will send payment information as applicable along with a preview once I have completed the commission. 99% of the times I see wings drawn, people just don't seem to respect the fact that wings are attached by the scapulae, and therefore should be at the same angle as the back. The angle of the wings always seems to be parallel to the viewing plane, or at a slight (but incorrect) angle. This is WRONG unless the character is facing forward. I even see this in art by GOOD artists, although not as often. The "slight angle" shows that they might realize the straight up parallel bit is wrong, but they don't give it enough effort to get it right. It just bothers me. Wings are not necessarily oriented symmetrically! It's not that hard, guys. Figure it out.

I've just gone on a rampage of adding people I've met from the Bay Area who are cool to my watchlist. If I watched you just now, that might be why. I generally only watch art-y people, but hey, I'm leaving the Bay Area soon :( and this is at least a start for keeping in contact with cool people. There are probably a bunch of people I forgot just because I don't know their FA names, so, sorry if I missed you!

It's summertime, and that means no schoolwork. It also means an internship out in California. This means that, after I get out of work, I have basically nothing to do for the rest of the night (apart from eating and sleeping). Traditionally, this time has been filled by wasting time on the internet and beating various videogames (Metroid Prime 1 fell by my hand (thumbs?) in 2009, Metroid Prime 2 in 2010. Metroid Prime 3 will be defeated this summer!). However, I find myself wasting less time on the internet these days. I also find myself not drawing enough. As such, I plan to open commissions this summer. Now, I haven't started the job yet (that comes on Tuesday), but when I do, I'll let people know if I have the time to open commissions.

For now, though, I'd like to gauge if anyone is actually interested in taking a commission from me. They'd be single-character with simple or no background. I might work my way up to bigger stuff, but just because I'll have time doesn't mean I'll have MUCH time.

Wow, that con was crap. Even without all the crappy stuff that happened to me, that con was crap. The bus ride back was also nightmarish, and took almost twice the 7 or so hours it was supposed to take. Fun times.

I wasn't originally planning on going to FA:U, but a bunch of people told me to (you know who you are), so now I am. Short notice, I know. I'm only going to be there for Saturday and half of Sunday. Anyone (who I don't already know is going) going to be there?

Hooray! PAX East is this weekend! It's not a furry con, but I'm still super-psyched. I had a great time there last year, and I hope to have a similarly great time there this year. I already have a dozen people I expect to run into there this year (up from last year!), but is there anyone who's going to be there that I don't already know about?

I'm back from FC with no sleep schedule to speak of, and I definitely enjoyed myself while I was there. I'm bad at writing con reports or anything of that variety, so this will probably be fairly brief and lacking in details, but I'll try. The con was a bit of a blur, so I might have some stuff in the wrong order, or even the wrong day!

Thursday
Shirt: I SEE DEAD PIXELS

My flight arrived at around 8:15, after flying for what felt like ages (it was over 6 hours). zerda (henceforth Reilly) picked me up from the airport, and we got back to the con at probably around 9. The lobby was very raucous when we got there. I met up with fennecuskitsune (henceforth Fennecus) there, and met the two other people I was rooming with: sdwolf (henceforth Shadow) and steeleheart (henceforth Steele).

I hadn't eaten much on the plane, so Reilly and I went to dinner. We argued a bit on where we should go, but eventually decided to go to P.F. Chang, as it was about the only thing left open. While crossing a street, the crossing light was about to change, so I ran across and stupidly slipped and fell. Reilly slammed into the back of my head in the process, knocking off my NEW GLASSES. However, I managed to get my glasses back on and was back on my feet in a matter of seconds. The homeless guy that saw me fall was sort of horrified, and kept asking me if I was okay, but I gave a thumbs up as soon as I got up. Apart from a headache, I was A-OK. Down and up in about 3 seconds! Impressive, if you ask me.

After dinner, I changed my shirt to BLACK AND WHITE AND RED ALL OVER. While hanging out with people in the hallway by the elevators, I managed to catch a flash of cstring (henceforth String) and saw his badge. I introduced myself, more or less, considering we already sort of knew each other. The rest of the night was mostly wandering around the con with various people. I ran into someone else with the same shirt, who handed me a flier for THE COMMUNIST PARTY. Of course.

Friday
Shirt: DEVIL BEAST
After getting up, I wandered the halls a bit more, and found myself in the line for the dealer's room right before it opened. After it opened, I wandered around for a bit, but didn't buy anything. I was greatly tempted by many things, but nothing reaaaally caught my eye. I went back to the dealer's room several times, and eventually did end up buying some stuff. At one point or another, I ended up buying the complete Ozy & Millie collection, as Ozy & Millie was a comic I'd read from around 2003 until it ended. DC Simpson even signed the books! While I was walking past the table next to DC Simpson, I noticed some Homestuck cards on jirris's table. I talked with Jirris a bit, and showed him a bit of my Homestuck fanart. I've never gotten so much praise on my work at once before. It was pretty cool talking with Jirris. He also makes the Awesome face when he smiles broadly. I can't say I've ever seen anyone else do it so adeptly.

I also ran into someone with the same shirt as me. Which was surprising, given that the shirt had just been released and I wasn't quite expecting them to have been shipped to CA yet. I also recognized the guy, as I saw him in the airport when I went to AC last summer. Go figure.

I went to the Digital Art For Desperados event, although they started late due to technical difficulties. I tried to help with the problem a bit, but I wasn't really able to, due to the version of Windows touchmybadger was using. I learned a fair bit at the panel, and I might just have to buy SAI now.

Most of the rest of the day was just hanging out with people, and going to the dance for a while.

Saturday
Shirt: SEPULCHRITUDE
Stuff happened on Saturday, but I can't remember what all it was. I went to the dealer's room yet again and bought what turned out to be the last print of The Derp Cycle that astolpho had, and a small Minecraft creeper badge. The print didn't fit in my luggage (it was 11x17) without folding, so I gave it to my roommates to mail to me at some point.

Other things that happened on Saturday that I went to include the Fursuit Parade and the Masquerade. Apart from that, I don't recall what I did. Probably just lots of hanging out and wandering.

Sunday
Shirt: BEARTATO
Ah, the final real day of the con. There were some great events on Sunday, like the Critterlympics (I have photos!), the Digital Drawing panel with kamui, and Further Confusion: Unleashed! I got to see wolfpuptk in his suit, performing "Everyone's a Little Bit Furry", which was absolutely hilarious.

After accidentally lounging up in the room from around 10PM to 1AM (with the intention of only lounging until about 11PM), Fennecus and I went to the dance until it ended at about 2:10AM. After the dance, we were informed that there was going to be an unofficial second fursuit parade at 3AM, so we hung about until then. That went around the con one last time, and wound up outside, where there was more socializing until about 4AM, when Fennecus and I decided we should go back to the room before it got way too late.

Monday

Everyone was leaving! My flight was at 9PM, so I sort of hung about with people until around 7:30PM, and then left to go home!
