Honestly, I don't remember much about the first time I ever saw Godspell. I know I first saw it on television eons ago, and it had such a positive effect on me. It was a movie I couldn't get out of my head.

I honestly don't even remember.
3:Talk about the person you've had the most intense romantic feelings for.
4:Talk about the thing you regret most so far.
Hurting the person I cared the most for. That's all I'm gonna say on that one.
5:Talk about the best birthday you've had.
I went to Jungle Cat World and got tackled by an arctic wolf, who proceeded to lick my face. I also got to play with a tiger cub and a lion cub :)
6:Talk about the worst birthday you've had.
I had a bunch of my friends over. One of them brought over the Advent Children movie (which we'd all seen at least ten times by then) and when my mom called us up for cake/ice cream/ presents, none of them came upstairs with me because they were too busy watching the movie and I ended up singing happy birthday to myself.
7:Talk about your biggest insecurity.
I just don't like the way I look.
8:Talk about the thing you are most proud of.
Honestly, I don't know what I'm most proud of. I've accomplished a lot of things, but I guess to most people they wouldn't seem like much.

Uhhh well I like my eyes.

I don't know if I've ever had a "best dream" because all my dreams are weird and messed up.

I'm in bed late at night, no one is home and suddenly someone tried to break into the house through my parents' bedroom window. I leap out of bed, carrying my plush cat that I've had since as long as I can remember. I'm in a white nightgown and I fly down the stairs just as the man breaks the glass in the bedroom. I run out the front door and down the street. Suddenly I'm in a long, seemingly never-ending alley. It's dark, I'm running barefoot and it's cold and damp, just after rainfall. My heart is exploding in my chest. Somehow this man, a shadowy figure, is close behind me. As I'm running, my stomach swells up and suddenly I'm pregnant. I'm crying and hyperventilating, and I end up tripping and falling. The man is upon me now, bends down and stabs my stomach. I am in immense pain, and end up letting go of my cat. He turns to look at it lying on the ground, raises his knife to stab the plush, and suddenly I wake up.

It was like biting into paradise. The blended tastes of sweet and spicy thai sauce with egg noodles, fresh veggies and delicious spiced chicken was life-changing.

In 2000 my grandparents took my family and my cousins' family to Disney World and it was awesome.
15:Talk about the time you were most content in life.
It was years ago, before things started getting bad. I was content, but that was soon ruined. I ruined it because I was selfish and wanted something more and I should've just stuck with being content.
16:Talk about the best party you've ever been to.
One of many Halloween parties a good friend of mine threw each year. I was lookin' like a hot mess. I was pretty drunk, along with all of my friends, we sung slurred Disney songs in the kitchen and had a dance-off. It was pretty great.

Anyone I want to be friends with, I already am friends with.
18:Talk about something that happened in elementary school.
This asshole thought it would be funny to run up to me and grab my boob and I kicked him so hard in the dick that he fell down and cried.

I didn't go to middle school. I don't even think we have that here in Canada :/
20:Talk about something that happened in high school.
A'ight so one night my friends and I decide it's a good idea to climb onto our school roof and drink. Well, we were sitting and drinking for so long that when my one friend stood up, he didn't realize how drunk he was and puked everywhere. We waited it out, but soon my friend started shivering like crazy and our other friends took off. I draped myself over my friend to try and get him warm. Eventually we ended up calling his mom because there was no way we could get down from the roof (the only way up was to climb some complicated piping on the side of the building).
So anyways, my friend's mom was too drunk to do anything, so we called his sister, who called the cops. A few minutes later we saw this bright light shining down on us from above. We looked up and it was a police helicopter. My friend and I look at each other and say, "How are we gonna climb up the rope?!!" Yeah, we legit thought we'd have to James Bond-it up a freaking helicopter ladder.
I ended up calling my dad, who showed up before the police. So my dad brings a ladder and climbs up onto the roof and the police soon follow. Well, soon enough not only are there two cop cars, but an ambulance and a firetruck showed up as well. The firetruck extended it's ladder up to the roof, where the chief firefighter climbed up carrying a harness. We got my friend into the harness and eventually back onto the ground, after puking all over the fireman.
Once on the ground, an officer tried to help my friend into the back seat of his sister's car, but ended up smacking his head off the car roof and giving him a concussion. Needless to say it was an interesting night, and the next day everyone at school was talking about it.

I can name like ten times in the past three years that I've had to turn down people who just didn't take the hint. It's honestly quite annoying when I'm just being friendly/trying to be friends with someone and they end up liking me and then getting pissed off and spread rumours about me when I tell them no, I'm not interested.

Mother fuckin' spiders.

No one has turned me down. I am clearly a very desirable person.

A good friend and coworker told me that if I ever needed to talk or vent about anything that he would always be there to listen, and that meant a lot to me because I really, really look up to him.

She was one of the nicest people I'd known. We were like two peas in a pod, almost inseparable. I have no idea why we drifted apart.

I think death is like if time was slowed down, and everything is suddenly crystal clear. You can everything in a new light and you think about all the things you've accomplished in your life and you're finally at peace.

When I was really young my family and I would rent a cottage up at a place called Pine Vista on Stoney Lake and we'd spend a week there on the beach, or doing crafts in an everyday children's program. It was a lot of fun.

Lie down, cry, try to sleep. Try to take my mind off of being sad, but sometimes that's a little hard to do.
34:Talk about the worst physical pain you've endured.
One morning during high school, I think around grade 11, I woke up to an annoying pain in my side. I was trying to get ready for school but the pain progressed, and soon I was puking my guts out and passed out in the bathroom. Mom dragged me to the hospital, where I continued to throw up all day. I was crying for hours, I was in so much pain. The doctors ran all kinds of tests but couldn't figure out what was causing the pain. I was in the hospital for 14 hours and it wasn't until later that they gave me morphine and the pain began to subside. I've never felt pain like that, and they never did find out what the cause of it was.

I wish I could stop going through depression every day of my life but unfortunately there isn't really a cure for that.

I do not feel guilty about liking anything so I don't really have any guilty pleasures.

Nope. The only paranormal-ish things that've happened easily had a simple explanation.
2. Are you afraid of the dark?
I'm not afraid of the dark so much as I'm afraid of what could be lurking in the dark.
3. What would be the plot of your ideal horror movie?
Something involving clowns.
4. What is the scariest short story you've ever read?
The one where the parents went out and asked a girl to babysit, and if she wanted to watch TV to do so in a certain room. She calls the parents a while later asking if she could watch TV in a different room because the clown statue freaked her out. The parents explained that they didn't have a clown statue. DUN DUN DUN.
5. What is your biggest fear?
Spiders.
6. How do you feel about mediums/psychics?
About 99% of them are fake. I do believe that an individual can have certain psychic attributes to them, however.
7. How do you feel about the concept of reincarnation?
I'm open-minded to the possibility.

No idea, really. Probably this year's, which I haven't worn yet.

Long story short, I was camping up at Bon Echo and found myself on a path that wasn't listed on the park map. There was only one beat-up sign that read "Tapping Farm" and when I searched for the place online, I could only find a very tiny paragraph with vague information on the place. Other than that, it's as if this place doesn't exist at all. The whole time I was walking through it, it was eerily quiet and I had the feeling that someone was watching me the whole time.

NOPE NOPE NOPE I am so not doing that.
17. Who do you think is the most interesting serial killer?
Jeffrey Dahmer. I've had a fascination with him since I was in elementary school.

Halloween Haunt Meet!
Posted 11 years agoHey everyone! Just a reminder that this Saturday, October 18th is the Wonderland Halloween Haunt meet! We'll be meeting outside the front gates at 6:30PM. The park is open from 7-midnight. Tickets are $30 online, or around $45 at the park itself.

It's been over a year since I met one of my best friends, Visgar.
It's almost been a full year since I first met everyone from the Oshawa furmeet. It feels like we've all been friends forever.
It's also almost been a year since clumzy and I started dating <3
So far this year I've been to FE for the third time, and I got to spend that weekend with all of my close friends.
I got to fursuit for the first time!!!
I went all the way to Pittsburgh for Anthrocon for the first time, and it was amazing.
I attended my first - and sadly last - Condition.
I've attended the new Toronto Howl twice, and it's been a lot of fun.
I'll be attending the Supernatural convention in October with nicnac044 and I cannot wait!
I'm seeing Linkin Park this coming Sunday - it'll be my 7th time seeing them in concert.
I'm also seeing Coheed and Cambria in October as well.
Aaaaaand I'll be visiting Chicago in December for MFF for the first time!

AC 2014 Review
Posted 11 years agoLet me just start out by saying I really didn't know what to expect for this convention. I'd heard mixed things; some said it was too big, too overwhelming. Others said it was amazing. I myself have never been outside of Canada, other than a few trips to Florida. I'd heard good things about Pittsburgh, and enough of my friends were going that I decided it would be worth my while to give it a shot.
Clumzy, Vis, Sparx, Neerren and I all carpooled to Anthrocon together. It was a tight fit with all of our luggage, but we made it work. The drive down was pretty long, but good company made the time fly by. Before we knew it, we'd crossed the boarder and were well on our way to see our fluffy friends. Luckily they didn't give us a hassle crossing over.
I can't believe how cheap everything is in the States! From McDonalds meals to alcohol, everything is at least half the price it is in Canada. They even sell beer in convenient stores!
The Hampton was an amazing hotel. The service was wonderful, the rooms were spacious, the staff was sweet, and you can't go wrong with complimentary breakfast, free parking, a free coffee stand and free popcorn right from the popcorn maker. Our roommates were really great as well. Morpheus and Aero were really great, and I hope I get the chance to chill with them again.
Pittsburgh is such a beautiful city. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but it was better than I imagined. And the locals there were all so nice! And the fact that they all love the fandom is a huge bonus. The second we got there, all you could see were people walking around with tails and ears, and fursuiters marching down the streets. It was incredible. I've never been to a place that was so accepting before.
The convention center/Westin were huge. I couldn't believe the amount of space Anthrocon took up! There were tons of rooms for the various panels and activities. The Dealer's Room was massive as well. It took a while to just look around and absorb everything. Clumzy took me to the roof of the convention center, and let me tell you, the view was spectacular. After seeing Pittsburgh, I never want to see Toronto again, haha.
I met so many amazing new people at this convention, and I got to hang out with some old friends as well. A few of the artists I've been following on FA for a while were there, and I'm super happy that I got to meet and commission them. I was finally introduced to 2 The Ranting Gryphon and Uncle Kage's comic genius. I'm glad I attended their shows with everyone.
Tonic was our hot spot; we ate there almost every day. The staff were really open and friendly, and the food was delicious (I HIGHLY recommend the Apple Burger). Even Fernando's didn't disappoint. Between the Lasagna Wrap and the Buffalo Chicken Pizza, my stomach was satisfied.
The dances were really fun, especially in suit. The dance competition and floor wars were really great, too. There are so many amazing dancers in our fandom, and I love watching them all perform.
The highlight of this trip, however, was getting to meet Jim Cummings, the voice actor of my all-time favourite cartoon character, Darkwing Duck. He was such a nice, down to earth guy and was really pleasant to talk to.
Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better weekend. I had the time of my life at AC and I am really looking forward to going again next year. Thanks so much to everyone who hung out with me and talked to me, you're all amazing and I sincerely hope we meet again soon! All in all AC was one of the best vacations I've had and I look forward to doing it all over in the future!

The dances were really fun, especially in suit. The dance competition and floor wars were really great, too. There are so many amazing dancers in our fandom, and I love watching them all perform.
The highlight of this trip, however, was getting to meet Jim Cummings, the voice actor of my all-time favourite cartoon character, Darkwing Duck. He was such a nice, down to earth guy and was really pleasant to talk to.
Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better weekend. I had the time of my life at AC and I am really looking forward to going again next year. Thanks so much to everyone who hung out with me and talked to me, you're all amazing and I sincerely hope we meet again soon! All in all AC was one of the best vacations I've had and I look forward to doing it all over in the future!

Posted 11 years agoWow, what a blast! This year's con was amazing. I'm so glad that I got to see and hang out with so many of my friends, and meet a bunch of awesome new folks as well. I even got to walk around in fursuit for the first time as well. It's such a different experience, but I had a lot of fun.

Oh goodness, a lot. Too many things to even name.
2:Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Some yes, some no. I usually try to come up with reasonable resolutions but half the time I either forget what they are, or fail at keeping them.
3:Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes! One of my best friend's had a baby girl this summer :)
4:Did anyone close to you die?
Unfortunately, yes. It's been quite hard to get over.
5:What countries did you visit?
Sadly, none. That will change next year though!
6:What would you like to have in 2014 that you lacked in 2013?
Clarity and happiness. I struggled a lot this year and even though I've just started to pull myself together, I'm hoping that next year will be my year.
7:What dates from 2013 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I'd honestly rather not mention most of them.
However, November 9th is a great memory because that's when and I got together :)
8:What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Finding myself. I know it sounds weird and cliche, but it's true. I had no idea what I wanted, both out of life or myself. I fighting a war within me and it's taken a long time to calm the waters but I am finally making peace with everything.
9:What was your biggest failure?
Letting the one person I loved more than anything down. I fear that I will carry that burden forever. Though I've managed to be at peace with everything now, it's still a tender spot for me. Some days are harder than others because at times I still feel guilty, even though I know I shouldn't. I still count that as a failure on my part and even though I've been told that I'm forgiven, it still stings to think about.
10:Did you suffer illness or injury?
I had melanoma removed at the beginning of the year.
11:What was the best thing you bought?
A ticket to see Joel Osteen at the ACC. That man changed my life, changed me, and he means more to me than anyone could ever know.

But things eventually get easier and you will make it through the hard times. When it seems as if you've hit rock bottom, and you have nowhere left to turn, that's the moment things will start to get better. No matter what, do not let go of hope. Never give up, never give in to the negative thoughts that may cloud your mind or your judgement. Keep pressing forward.

Updates and stuff
Posted 12 years agoI'm thinking about taking on a few commissions in the near future. Of course, I still need tons of practice but I'd like to wander outside my comfort zone, which clearly consists of lions. I'm thinking I'll start with badges, like the one I made for Clumzy (who I miss very much because he is at MFF and I'm stuck in Canadaland).
I realize my art isn't the greatest and there is tons of room for improvement but I'm hoping to do just that. I don't have a PayPal account so perhaps I'll set one up soon and get the ball rolling.
