a thing to make blocked tags completely hidden!
Posted 8 months agoso! FA finally introduced a way to add tags to your blocklist, and OH MY GOSH, IT'S BEAUTIFUL!
...but there's one little quirk--images with a blocked tag still show up in galleries, they are just blurred out, with no option to hide them entirely! so i made a little script that lets you browse FA with these blurred images being completely hidden! and as someone who is asexual, and not super-into a lot of things pretty commonly loved in my circles (no shade to those things, of course!), having the ability to just turn off that part of the site has made it infinitely more comfortable for me--and i think this one change alone might mean i'll hang around a lot more now! (heck, i might even follow a few more people!)
but yeah! if anyone else wants to use my script, you can do that by
1) grabbing tampermonkey--which is an extension that lets you install/write little tweaks for sites! (chrome / firefox / firefox android / edge)
2) ...and then, from this page, if you click "raw" in the top right, you should be able to install my script!
on top of the hidden tag thing, there are actually a couple other tweaks, which you can just delete if you don't like:
- if you browse the gallery, and just sit there without navigating, it will show you new submissions every 20 minutes
- it also lets you set the default "type" you want the browse button to point to, which by default points to the new abdl section, but if you change that in the script (which you can do directly in tampermonkey), you can set that to any section you like!
- you can also hide users from galleries by adding their username to your tag blocklist!
i mostly wrote this for me, but hopefully others will find it useful as well! ^^

art program files!

welllll, if so, i've added links to "source" files for most of the images i have in my gallery~
tl;dr - if you have any of these art programs, here's a list of pictures (that's going to keep on growing) that lets you download something a little more than just a .png:
- paint tool sai
- sai 2
- medibang (or firealpaca)
- azpainter
- procreate
- krita
- ibispaint
- gnu imp
- clip studio paint
anything that isn't in a folder like this, unfortunately doesn't have a source file i could find (or it doesn't really apply, like for traditional drawings where i just took a photo of a sketchbook)
these files sometimes have extra things in them that didn't make it into the final image, and should make it pretty easy to mess around with anything you want!
...which, speaking of, i guess i should say this explicitly somewhere:
feel free to use my art in any way you like! you can make edits and post em, you can use them in projects or for icons, etc...
heck, you don't even need to credit me; i don't even sign my art! ^^ (though i do appreciate credit if you do give it~)
i realize this is probably a kinda-niche thing i'm putting out into the world, but hopefully it makes someone happy having access to all of these files, ahah
