The Sandman, by Neil Gaiman. A story spanning ten volumes, graphic novel form, and with no embellishment..the best thing I have ever read in my life.

I'm honestly a bit annoyed with the series now, if only because I know that I will never enjoy any story as much as I enjoyed The Sandman, and for the next couple months everything else is just going to taste sub par compared with it =p

If I can convince just one person to go out to their local library or bookstore and check this series out then I will be happy.
