2023 Fall Update!
Posted 2 years agoGreetings everyone,
I hope everyone's summer has been going well so far, despite all the chaos and frankly stupid heat that has been affecting my neck of the woods. I figured now was as good a time as any to update people as to some progress going on and potential breaks in uploads happening in the coming months.
I moved to a new state for my Career way back in 2018 and now that my career is safely secure, I've decided its time to finally take the next leap into homeownership. Which means the next couple months are going to have lots of extra outside work activities and work taking up what spare time I do have. I'll be trying to look at houses, get loans approved, and eventually have to pack up my entire life and hopefully move one last time. This time hopefully for good.
What this unfortunately means is that in the coming weeks and months my art streams may be being postponed or canceled all together and my weekly upload schedule might also falter week to week depending on if I find time to art or not. Things haven't destabilized too much yet, but when they do in the future I'll be sure to let everyone know that art may be delayed for a long section of time. Hopefully this whole process will go swiftly and I can finally have a place to call my own before the end of the year.
So wish me luck, and as long as I can I'll be sure to keep drawing cute fluffies to share with y'all.

Foxbruary Full Ink contest results
Posted 4 years agoHey everyone, thanks for stopping by.
At the beginning of Foxbruary I said I would be holding an event in which the most popular (most favorited images) would be getting a full ink makeover after all the images were said and done, and since its been a full week since the drawing challenge ended its time to hit up the results.
Unfortunately I did not anticipate the results that happened in regards to things being top of the list, so we have a bit of a problem I still have to solve.
1st Place: Super enthused Renate! https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40784815/
Thats right somehow my marble fox gal was so popular she got the most favs during Foxbruary clocking at a whopping 30 total favorites! So Renate will be getting a full color refresh as the first place winner.
2nd Place: This is the one where things get a LOT tricky. This month was extremely popular overall most of my drawings got upwards of double what they would normally get on their own, probably due more to me doing more streaming, interacting more, and all the new followers who found my channel as a result over the past year.
So we have a 4 way tie for second place.
Workout Blaze: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40411028/
Casual Blaze: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40593810/
Casual Blizzy: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40816138/
What do you want from me Ark: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40770488/
3rd Place: Vivien's new threads! https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40754934/
I was super happy to see this one got 3rd place finish as I absolutely adore this outfit designed by one of my artist friends,
Wysdrem who did a wonderful job making this cool outfit be both simple but complex at the same time.
Now, seeing as the followers got to try and dictate who won, and I was not expecting a 4 way tie for second place I'm going to attempt to put it back up to a vote again.
Comment below to let me know your thoughts about "should there be a third place winner at all, or should the second runner up for second now become third place?"
And vote for your top favorite, and if you wouldn't mind rank the second place winners in order of your most to least favorite. I know it can be hard to pick, and I'll do a ranked choice system to see who wins from there. If there aren't any comments I'll likely go off which one got the most page views as a tie breaker.
Foxbruary is over, but more drawing is still coming up ahead. I really need to see about working on this amazing tank picture a friend did for me, as well as finish up Optic's reference sheet and actually work on doing these inks and more art for fun down the road.
Hope you all are safe and doing well, and thanks so much for your follows, favs and kind comments even if I sometimes don't get to them all.
Y'all are the best, stay fluffy, and have a good day

June Update
Posted 5 years agoHello all my wonderful fluffs.
Yep, things unfortunately haven't changed much since may in terms of being able to go out. Hope everyone is safe and doing all they can to keep healthy during these truly trying times we are living in. Drawings are still going strong, and just to keep everyone updated I've settled on a Tuesday and Saturday upload schedule which means 2 drawings or sketches per week. This has primarily been chosen as with 2 uploads a week I can opt to skip weeks if I'm really not feeling it, or continue to maintain or grow my backlog depending on how sketchy I get in a week. I still have something like a dozen plus sketches stored up in the backlog to post.
I am going to start working on getting back to drawing Tanks and such in these sketches and drawings as well, I've gotten back into playing World of Tanks pretty active to casually over the previous weeks. It's been fun, the game definitely has some issues, but its still enjoyable and is making me want to get back to armored vehicles again. I also may start looking back through my sketches of the past and try and do a full color redraw of more popular sketches. Those being anything that got over 20 favorites, as I'm still small enough on this site for any one image to get over 20 favorites is a massive accomplishment for me. It tells me people really liked that picture, so I should be trying to do more like it, and maybe revisit it to make it even better than before.
There will be a short hiatus of posting for a week, and after that we'll be back at it again. So don't worry when the posts stop for a short time. I'm not leaving, just taking a small breather. It's only half way through the year and I've already almost reached my total sketch output for the entirety of 2018. In 2018 I logged about 70 sketches, and as of right now I've uploaded 55 sketches. with the backlog I have I've already basically matched that.
I'm also thinking of starting to either post more of my Warhammer 40K model work to this site, or possibly start up a side account on something like pinterest for my modelling work. Let me know if people would be interested in seeing that, as its my main other large creative outlet.
Stay safe, and thank you all for the kind words, watches and favorites!

May Madness
Posted 5 years agoHello all my lovely fluffies!
I've been on here long enough to know most people it seems just click that fun 'Nuke' button for journals, or maybe that's just me cause I don't do much reading of those kinds of things. Who know, those of you who are here reading this, thanks for clicking on it (or just reading it on the side of my home page).
I've had a lot of time for drawing, just an absolutely ludicrously productive time for drawing. You can't see on my end, but I've got almost two straight weeks worth of once a day uploads banked up. I'm not going to be posting them once per day. I'll likely keep up the every other couple days upload pace so as not to burn myself out trying to keep pace with daily uploads. With all that time I've actually just today done some work playing with my Ink and coloring techniques to make my inked work new and improved compared to the old stuff. I've been doing a lot of work with color, art and composition, so I just did a shot with some awesome color compared to old work. On top of that because of the whole pandemic situation it seems like a lot of us are all sitting around waiting for life to get back to normal, myself included. So to amuse myself, and hopefully give you all more of the fluffies you love to see, I am curious as to the following.
I've done a ton of sketches the past couple years, I just posted my 228th drawing in the sketch drawing series. That seems like a lot. But my question for you is if you could pick a sketch from my gallery to have go full color, which would it be? I may not get to all of them, so I'm sorry if I don't get to your suggestion, but I'm genuinely curious what sketches people have liked the most. It will also probably be a bit before any of them see the actual page, since as I said I have a backlog of at least 13 other drawings yet to post!
If you feel like participating, feel free to simply comment with a drawing number from my sketch series, posting a link to it, or even suggesting revisiting an old old colored image to revamp. If not, its no bother. I'm a pretty shy creature too.
Thanks for reading and following me here on FA! Even if I don't always respond, each comment and favorite always help bring a smile to my face.
Keep yourselves healthy and safe out there, and hopefully everything will return to normal sometime in the near future.

2019 wrap up
Posted 6 years ago"Woah, two sketches in two days, whats going on here?" I hear you ask.
Well its December and the Holiday season is upon us, and I haven't actually posted a new journal since February... so good job me. Looking at the current giant bank of sketches and doodles I have I've accrued enough of a backlog that I could post a drawing every day until my holiday vacation and still not get through all the sketches I've done.
So that is exactly the plan. As an end of year thank you to all you wonderful fluffies who follow my work and favorite and comment on my drawings, the plan will be to post a new picture every day (maybe even 2 per day at times) until Christmas day. I've got a lot of fun drawings stored up, so hopefully everyone will enjoy this sudden surge of art as I purge the reserve stores in preparation for 2020, and subsequently more drawings and in the new year the continuing tradition of Foxbruary!
Happy Holidays to all my lovely fluffies and everyone who happens upon this journal!

Fox-bruary 2019 Drawing challenge
Posted 7 years agoWow it has actually been more than 2 years since I made a new journal entry, yeesh.
Anyway, decided to try and get more back into the swing of drawing more frequently and doing some month theme challenges again, so we're going to try and start the year back up strong with a return of last years Fox-bruary month long challenge. All foxes, all month long, getting into strange antics and doing their usual foxy things.
I got myself a second art figure over Christmas so now I can more accurately pose and see how two figures would interact, so more of them may start to involve one panel mini comics, like the various couple's pictures in the gallery or that will be arriving soon. It should be loads of fun, and I'll be running the Random Character Selector like normal unless people have ideas for things they would like to see specifically. IE specific foxes you want to see more of, silly ideas of things they are doing, or various other things. Obviously all suggestions should be of a sfw nature, and nothing says I'll use all the suggestions (if any even are made) but I will try and draw some suggestions if they get posted.
In general I'm going to try working more on character interaction and the characters continuing to interact and go about their normal day activities. So things like Vivien reading, or Ark painting. I don't think commissions will be coming back anytime soon, but I will be trying to get back into the idea of comics again, and doing some rehashes of old pictures from 5 years ago to just have a before and after of how my art has advanced over the years.
Thank you all for your kind words, fav's and support over these many years!
So stay tuned for many Foxes coming soon

December Wrap up
Posted 8 years agoHello my fluffy followers
Just realized the last journal was from all the way back in October and it was probably time to update this with whats been happening. As you can tell draws are back, but may not always be constant based on what has been happening during the week and how I am feeling.
To those of you who I have gotten requests for commissions from, my apologies for the late or lack of responses however commission slots are currently closed. I really need to be focusing on my training for my new career and when I get energy to draw I simply want to sit back and draw something to relax.
To anyone who actually reads this, hi! Nice to see someone actually opened this. I'm most likely going to start doing some holiday themed art this coming week, so if you have any interest feel free to drop comments below on what characters you would like to see dressed up in holiday attire.
Its been a really good year in terms of art I feel. This year has by far been my most productive year to date with all the sketching and practice that has been going on. To date (01/01/2017-12/07/2017) I have drawn 217!!! drawings this year, wow that's a lot! While the detail may not have been as high, constantly sketching and coloring things (even in the sketch style) has greatly improved my consistency I believe. It has also proved drawing a quick sketch and pose can be done in less than an hour even to a roughly colored level. So hopefully once my life settles down, and I finish moving to my new location after my training is complete, I can get back to doing more detailed drawings including inks and color (and maybe even the comic).
The end of the year may be a little quiet from me as I will hopefully be travelling for New Years and then my final evaluation is two weeks after that. So wish me luck, have a Merry Christmas, and I'll see you all in the new year!

October Update
Posted 8 years agoHey everyone,
Just wanted to update everyone as to the status of what is even going on with my stuff right now. While I really want to get back into the comic my current on the job training is going all the way through till January. So the comic won't be coming back any time soon.
I'm hoping to get back to daily uploads and a very slim chance of a commission or two. My uploads dropped off because I really needed to study for a test end on Oct 13th and after it was done I really needed the weekend to relax. I posted a banked sketch I had from a while ago, and will hopefully be returning to a daily schedule here tomorrow.

September Update
Posted 8 years agoHello everyone.
I just wanted to leave an update, and give some answers to the burning questions people have had. Such as what happened? Why have there been no sketches the past few days? Is the comic ever coming back?
Well, what happened was I finally got my firm hire offer for the job I've been waiting for since last year. I'm supposed to report for training on the 8th of September, so it has been a bit of a hectic few weeks of trying to get all my paperwork done and search for a new place to stay. Its a pretty big move for me as well, so I haven't really been in the mind or time to draw of late. I do still have two sketches banked I never posted, but I want to save them until I start drawing seriously again so I have a small buffer if my schedule for training time changes.
"What happened to the comic though?" I so want to resurrect the comic but it just is not practical now with all the travelling I've been doing and now my upcoming training for my career. So instead during my stay at my new temporary posting I will be trying to open a few commissions a month for sketches or inks, as well as trying some practice comic work. My main problem is it has been so long since I did any comic work I have no idea where or how to begin anymore. So I need to practice making pages again just like I would at doing anatomy and coloring. Instead of doing the actual PzFuchs comic, I'll be doing small one offs about various characters, and while I'm doing that I can easily change one sketch or ink a week over to taking commissions if people have interest.
My training starts in September and will run clear through until January, so if people have interest I may open one or two commission slots in September, see how those go, and possibly open more in October, November and so on. I don't want to stress my creative energy too much, but I also never really burned out on doing character sketches every day. My travel just made finding the time to sit down and do those sketches hard.
Hope everyone's summer went well, and I should start posting again once I have gotten settled into my new residence.

July Kickoff
Posted 8 years agoHello again my wonderful Fuzzies!
Its the beginnings of July starting shortly, and I think its time for another update on the status of stuff.
Firstly, I'd like to explain what happened and what I feel I have discovered about day to day operations. My cousin got married during the middle of June, and I was part of the wedding party so I just could not find the time to sit down and sketch out stuff to keep the seamless 30 day challenge mentality rolling. But after coming back and trying to catch up with things for my future employment to see to, I couldn't just overclock myself and catch up the missed time either. So from here on out I'm trying a new system whereby I will work to try and get sketching done daily for you all to see, but it won't be perfect 30 day challenges anymore. It will just be daily sketches, which if I miss a day will just be moved over and picked up the next day. I think this will continue to produce the same level of enjoyable sketches, while allowing to move forward with other plans.
Second, I said I wanted the comic back off the ground and I am moving forward to make that a reality. July will be all about working to get a buffer set up. This buffer of pages will allow me to seamlessly continue working on sketches, inks and story boarding to move everything along and do a weekly upload schedule to keep content reliable for you, the readers and fans. You can feel free to read the comic on its home page, link above to PzFuchsComic.tumblr.com, or here. Readers on FurAffinity will be in on special extras, as some of the comic panels will be posted as thumbnail sketches before the pages are released. Giving readers here a sneak peak at possible future scenes and events before the pages are published in color.
I still need a little time to get back into the swing of creating full color comics again (I've switched machines and it has been a while). But I have some fun plans to try and relearn how to make the pages again which will be posted this month.
Daily sketches will continue as my possible work schedule and travel allows.
Thank you to everyone who has commented, Favorited and become a watcher over the past few months. It always brightens my day knowing so many people enjoy my work.
Stay tuned, more fluffiness is always around the corner!

May Makeover
Posted 8 years agoFebruary had just a random 30 day challenge, March was a month of Robots, April was speed drawing to learn how to simplify, now we have arrived at May.
The Goal by the end May is to start operations and working on the comic, PanzerFuchs. Once I restart publishing pages again, the goal is to keep it up as a weekly comic once more. Tentatively, I don't feel it necessary or really appropriate to hold off until September at this point to restart the comic, that's still 4 months away and would be even more waiting for the fans I don't think needs to happen. While I don't think it will be in a position to relaunch by the end of May, I think the gears will be set up and ready Hopefully by the end of June, beginning of July.
May's month long drawing challenge doesn't particularly have any set order or schedule. May is the makeover month in a sense, I am experimenting with new stylistic choices, and working on my posing, expressions and compositions. Some observers may have already noticed the style choice, eyes are becoming more malleable. Instead of every character having a set eye shape, everyone has a roughly identical eye shape that varies based on how they are feeling. The may retain their normal eye shape when just acting normally, but they now have more expressive eyes when they are sad, excited, in shock, or tired. I must admit furries are my favorite for this because they get to emote even more with ear positions vs normal humans, allowing an extra level of body language to convey feelings.
If anyone wants to see certain characters feel free to drop ideas, I always like hearing suggestions for cute drawings. There may be some body part studies interspersed throughout the month too, practicing hands, feet, legs, arms, ears, you name it.
So more cute fluffies are definitely headed this way, as I do more work to help show some character.
Thank you to all my lovely followers who have been around, and who are just joining recently. Your support means a lot, and I'm always grateful for every favorite and comment you leave ^^
Thanks for reading, and enjoy some fluffies!

April Sketch Blitz
Posted 8 years agoMarch of Robots is almost over, and so far it doesn't seem like the desire to draw every day is losing ground. After almost 60 straight days of drawing and sharing some sketch or picture with everyone here on FA every day, I'm moving to my next month long challenge. The 8 Minute draw challenge.
What is the '8 minute challenge', you ask? The 8 Minute challenge is a manner of quickly sketching a given object or subject quickly 6 times in the course of 8 minutes. Each successive drawing reduces the time allowed to sketch by half (first sketch taking 4 minutes, next sketch 2min, next 1, ect...). This challenge was suggested to artists by Jake Parker, a freelance artist and youtube content creator I have been following, and having listened to some of the advice he offers I've decided to take on this next idea. It was his video's that offered the idea that a 30 day challenge is good to undertake because it eases the flow of drawing, and helps build positive drawing habits (consistently drawing in particular). I'm doing the 8 minute challenge because, the 8 minute challenge can help to see things differently than you normally would, and start to help develop one's own personal style. I'm choosing to meld the two idea's of a 30 day challenge and speed sketching together to further develop drawing habits and abilities to use in the comic revival.
This is now where I am going to open the floor for you, the followers, to get some input and see some fun stuff come about from my daily scratching. If you so choose, and would like to possibly see some focused drawings in terms of topic, feel free to respond to this journal with no more than 5 things for me draw. Of those 5 I will likely pick 1 or 2 of them and use them for an 8 minute sketch of the day.
"But wait a minute, your current sketches are allotted a full 2 hours for drawing? Why now only cut it to 8 minutes?"
The challenge part of the round will involve quickly sketching an idea 6 times in rapid succession, like a tank, or a lamp. After that is done, I will be taking one of the speedier sketches (I.E. the 1 minute or 30 seconds) and fleshing out the idea in full like for my current daily draws. Adding some possible backgrounds, and taking the detail back up from a low detail image. I don't know how the canvas is going to work yet, but it will either be one larger canvas, or two separate canvases.
So, now is your chance to see some stuff you would like. Post those suggestions below, and wait to see what happens during April's Sketch Blitz.
Thank you to all my wonderful followers, and to all my new followers because of the #March of Robots challenge.
Stick around, and enjoy more fluffiness

February Update
Posted 9 years agoSo, in case people couldn't tell, my strive to draw has come back suddenly and I've set up to do a month long challenge to really overhaul and get my drawing kick back into place. The hope is that getting this 28 day challenge (ha, of course I picked the shortest month to start this). will get me back into drawing as a daily activity. It may just be doodles, it may just be scraps, or sketches, or colored pencil sketches, or flat inks or a full thing. But every day I will be posting at least a sketch, presumably in the morning since 8am seems to be the time I am at my highest level of creativity.
Afternoons will be more focused on productive work. This can and has been involving turning the mornings sketch into a inked and colored pic, but in the future could also be painting more of my models as well.
I know I've been super absent for a while, right around after I hit the 100 watchers mark, but I'm back and driven to make Art a larger part of my life, permanently.
So stick around, and sorry for the daily spam coming from me now, but the entire system I have going is to work with the Mantra "Finished, not Perfect". The idea being finishing and posting work gives a feeling of accomplishment, so no matter what some type of sketch will be being posted every day. To keep me improving, and keep me drawing.
After this month's challenge March is typically a robot month, so my daily sketches in the morning will then shift to mechanical in nature for a month. Once that comes about, hopefully my afternoon sketch time will then shift to working on PzFuchs again. It is not dead forever, I am working diligently to bring myself back into the art world now, and get it back off the ground.

Pre-Autum mission update
Posted 9 years agoHello all my lovelies!
Just wanted to say again, thanks so much for 100 watchers! I've never had so many people show interest in my art, and its a really cool feeling other people like what I draw so much.
Since school let out, and even before that really, I've been in a fairly protracted art slump. Barely able to even sit down and focus for 10 minutes to even draw out a skeletal pose for sketching. However, I've graduated now and recently found a job working for a sporting goods store fixing and building bikes, and noticed the following phenomena. Having some form of structured thing I have to do, which takes up a lot of my free time, makes drawing feel more like a relaxing activity / hobby again. Hence why I was able to crank out the most recent "100 Thank you" picture in just two days when I had all the free time in the world.
So here goes once more, with feeling (hopefully) this time. PanzerFuchs is coming up on its first birthday shortly, and I want to bring it back into production for that occasion. I didn't intend for it to take such an extended hiatus, but life happens and I just couldn't find the energy for it at all because my life had very little structure. It will still more than likely proceed on a bi-weekly update schedule until I can feel out whether I can actually manage a page a week again while working, but I'll be focusing on making pages for it again.
On the side, I have a warmup activity plotted for each day as well. Sketching out 100 action poses randomly selected of a randomly selected character from a short list. Those will hopefully help me get better at posing quickly and drawing faster, and will be featured in pairs of 3 sketches per page in the scraps folder.
Thanks for watching, and stay tuned for more art to come

June Mission Report
Posted 9 years agoGreetings my Fluffies,
No, I'm not dead. Now that I got that out of the way, I finished and graduated with my Bachelors degree recently, so life has been a little less stable.
The biggest issue is again, just getting back into the mindset and habit of drawing once more in the new environment. PanzerFuchs has not been abandoned, just placed on extended hiatus until I get back into the groove of creating at least on full color thing per week. The new sudden rash of game releases, and my recently constructed computer which can actually play them, are not helping with the drawing drive either.
My plan for June is to try and make myself do a mandatory hour of sketching / inking / coloring a day, which I will schedule a time for during hours I normally just sit around and waste time anyway. Early plans are to complete the Character profile series of the main cast for Fox Platoon, and work on some cosplay style fan-art for the new game Overwatch. Once I've gotten back into the groove of drawing and creating stuff again, then I'll move to creating new comic pages again. Release date and schedule for when that happens I'll update on as it occurs.
Thanks for being so patient, and keep your ears up for more updates in the future!

Mission Update 04/05
Posted 9 years agoHello again my fluffies.
PanzerFuchs is currently experiencing technical difficulties as my brain is too fried to think or have the energy to work on it. Being my final semester of college is taking more of a toll on me that I was anticipating -__-;;
So for the time being, I'm trying to get back into the habit of drawing again, but for the foreseeable future PanzerFuchs will be offline until my life quiets down. I'll be trying to inject some new style improvements in the mean time, courtesy of new references and the newest classic movie (Zootopia). Chrissy especially will be seeing a number of improvements to her design to increase her physical appearance (I'm hitting her with the cute stick).
Thank you all for watching!

About PanzerFuchs
Posted 10 years agoPanzerFuchs
Setting: PanzerFuchs is set in the distant future on the planet Earth after great leaps in the sciences were poised to bring about the end of civilization through warfare. Diffusing the growing tensions between nations, Virtual Warfare was created to allow for conflicts to be played out as grand sporting events. Using a totally digital integrated system, real armored vehicles are used in larger than life battle spectacles between private military contractors.
Comic Schedule: PanzerFuchs is a one man operation, written, drawn and produced all by myself. While I try to keep the comic running on a smooth weekly upload schedule for you, my lovely fluffies, I want to ensure each page is the best quality I can produce. Delivering the best can sometimes take longer than just the one week, so I hope everyone can understand sometimes the updates will be delayed. Life can get in the way, and sometimes personal projects will take precedent over the upload schedule of the comic. Thank you all for understanding, I try to minimize delays as best I can, but I am still just one fox.
The comic will always upload at 1600 U.S. EST on Tuesdays. The comic will not upload on other weekdays, so any delays will push the comic back one week to keep the upload time consistent for everyone.

Chapter 2 Merry Christmas!
Posted 10 years agoI realize its a bit early, but its never to early to celebrate one of the best seasons of the year. No matter what you celebrate, it is one of the best times of the year, so enjoy while its here ^^.
PanzerFuchs will be returning after the dawn of the new year. My time was a bit more scrapped and scrambled than I had hoped with finals and projects for classes. We will be back with brand new characters, and the beloved fluffy foxes as they journey through the world of Simulated tank combat games.
Some new stuff should be appearing soon, PzF will see you all in 2016 with the launch of chapter 2.
Till then, thank you all for a great year of art in 2015, and may the new year be another great step forward.

One Month Countdown
Posted 10 years agoHello my lovelies
Welcome to all my new followers who just got here ^_^ I'm pretty sure I thanked you all personally, but I can thank you all again anyway. All my watches and favorites always mean the world to me, cause it hopefully means people like and hopefully want to see more.
So for those newcomers, or old followers who may have forgotten, during the past few months I've been building up a character base. New characters like Marie, Isabella, Chrissy, Victor, and many others have been appearing and being developed. "Ok, so? Was there a point to this or just pointing out you have a lot of OCs now?"
There is a point, all these new characters are going to be the main cast for the upcoming release of Operation Panzer Fuchs. Currently I’m only two crewmen short of having the full roster complete. At one point I had made an estimate as to when I would finally start releasing comic pages, I believe it was late August. Well that time has been further solidified in that PzFuchs will make its first appearance on September 1st.
New Cover Art and pages will be posted 1 per week to this page right here until at least October. In the slim chance I can crank out more than one page a day, it might move to 2 per week. Pages will most likely be posted on early weekdays, or Sunday. Posting time is still in the works, if you have suggestions on days feel free to drop me a note.
So now we start the one month countdown. The story based comic featuring all my lovely fuzzies, Vivien and Ark will be coming soon.
Thank you all for your support ^w^ This is a big step, and I'm hoping it will be a good one. If you want to follow the comic more directly, or just learn more about it, go check it out at its home over at PzFuchsComic.tumblr.com

Mid May Maybe-something-is-happening-so-update-time
Posted 10 years agoIts been a bit since I last posted any progress reports as to what has been happening over here. While things may seem quiet on the art front, that is quickly starting to change as the Artistic gears are starting to grip again.
NEW CHARACTERS:
New fluffy babes are being added into the rank as their designs are being put into construction phase to be refined and finished very soon.
GERMAN (Initial tank Panzer II)
FRANCE (Initial tank Renault R35)
- Marie Knight: A female snow leopard gal assigned as the driver for the french specialists.
BRITAIN (Initial tank Vickers Mk VIC)
- Victor Fox: A red fox gent who commands the British specialist group under the command of Arktic and Vivien.
- Christina Knight: A female black squirrel gal who serves as the gunner on Victor's crew.
- Martin Rabbit: Gray hare gent, operates as the driver of the British specialist team.
- Vincent Cheshire: Tabby cat gent, operating as the loader for the British tank specialist team.
Expect to see some new sketches and some finished drawings of these new recruits soon.
COMIC SITE
In case you all didn't notice the small change; this rapid deployment of new troops is in preparation for the beginning of the "Operation Panzer Fuchs" Comic. I have added a link to the page in the info panel at the top of the page but I will make note of it here now. Operation Panzer Fuchs now has its own page being constructed at PzFuchsComic.Tumblr.com (Link in my profile info) which will be the main housing for all the comic pages once it is under way.
If such things draw your fancy, that site will be the primary viewing method and home for the comic. Pages will be posted to the official (until I can get a custom domain) page listed above one week prior to being released here on FA (Or Ill make a new FA account, that is still up in the air as to the decision). I will warn you the site is still under construction so not everything is working exactly like I want it; but it is a start.
Thanks for watching and supporting my art ^w^

About the Artist (Artist meme)
Posted 11 years agoSome stuff about the fox behind the curtain
When did you start drawing?
I've been drawing on and off since the third grade, but I started to get serious and draw much more frequently after the first year in college.
Which hand do you use for drawing?
I can't write or draw for shit with my left hand. So extremely right hand dominant.
Which is easier to draw - male or female?
I started out drawing lots of pics of Vivien, so the female figure comes a little more naturally. But it only takes two small tweaks on the torso to change from male to female.
Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Hair I can go either way. I really love the look of long flowy hair.
Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
I think they do tend to point left more often, but that is probably a side effect of being right handed. Curves are easier to do in that direction.
Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
Now that I'm getting more into drawing I find the 3/4ths is the most challenging just because of the style of muzzle i use.
What do you have problems in drawing?
Mostly Dynamic poses, Different body types, human faces, and background items. Mecha an Foxes are my strong suit.
What do you like to draw?
Foxes. I'm a big fan of Tanks, Tech, Scifi and robots in general. Some fantasy stuff is also cool from time to time. But mostly Foxes, especially fem foxes.
Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
I started out being a traditional artist, drawing on paper with pencil. But I wanted to give it more life than Graphite could bring. So I got a tablet attachment for my computer, unfortunately the disconnect made things still extremely hard to digitize. Now I have an Ipad tablet and can draw digitally directly on a surface from scratch.
Where do you start drawing from?
I draw a head circle, duplicate it and stack them. Then from those I draw a skeleton, and then sketch out the character.
What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
I like to forward 1/4th head shots, generally very static and calm poses and floofy tails. I'm trying to work on having them be more dynamic and interact with objects.
Any tips for coloring/shading?
I do flat colors first, try and determine the light source and then fill the char with the shadow color and erase away to add the light effect.
How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
Totally depends on what art I'm trying to do. A sketch practice page can take me as little as an hour to just warm up. A full color thing can take upwards of 36hrs to fully sketch, ink color and shade.
What music do you listen to while you draw?
Depends on the piece and my mood. Usually its a giant mix of all the electronic stuff I have.
How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
Wildly varies. Sometimes I can have a week long art block, other times I think of 8 things to do at once and don't get any of them accomplished.
Your favorite drawing utensils?
Bamboo stylus and my iPad
Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
I have a serious weakness for purple and Ice blues.
Your favorite style(s)?
Twokinds is probably my absolute favorite style.
Are you satisfied with your current art?
At the moment yes. My characters an art style have come a long way these past 3 years. But right now, I can look back and cringe at how much better they look from their past.
What kind of artist are you aiming for?
My dream is to be able to do a comic like Twokinds and penny arcade.
(also fair warning, if it looks like the word is missing the letter 'd' my keyboard probably didn't want to register it)
