A New Hope
Posted 6 years agoIt's about time I shifted my last journal off the top of my page. It had been there for more than a year.
I'll be posting more of my own stuff from now on. A lot of it will be WIP.
If I try and wait until I've finished something before I upload it, I'd never upload anything.

Using up more of my Nine lives.
Posted 8 years agoAs some of you may or may not know I was involved in a car crash on Monday.
I was driving home from visiting friends for the weekend when I was struck by a van on the M4 Motorway (I live in the UK). We both lost control at 70mph and I ended up crashing up the embankment at the side of the road and hitting a tree at the top. At least three people who saw what happened climbed up to help me get away from my car which was now smoking, then stayed with me while we waited for the emergency services to arrive.
After going through A&E they found I had multiple fractures in my spine, but luckily they were stable so I would not be able to injure myself any further by moving around. I could be safely discharged a few hours later and I'm now being cared for by my parents at their house.
I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who has sent me messages of support so far, it means a lot!
I have an appointment at my local fracture clinic tomorrow, where I may get some idea of my recovery time.

Today is an important day in our lives
Posted 8 years agoFirstly because we here in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland go to the polls today to decide the next Prime Minister, and ultimately the future of our country.
Secondly, and most importantly. Thursday 8th June 2017 marks the 10th anniversary of the Cockwaffle.
I voted for Cockwaffle
