Back from Midfur, working on the last of the commissions from dealing there :D It went pretty well, met and caught up with a ton of people, and already missing a bunch of people :c Looking at being at Furdu though, and fingers crossed for next Midfur. Though getting time off is going to be a challenge, but will see!

I should be uploading commissions and various things soon once I get some spare time :D

Happy to do trades, rarely do free art unless it's a gift for someone. But feel free to ask me to do a quick random sketch if I'm free :3 no harm in asking, but please don't be a sad panda if I cant xP

Jewelry, skulls, bones, commissions, prints, fox tails, uhmn, that's it for my stuff, but I will have Marc with me hopefully selling some fursuit bits and Hallward with epic leather stuff :D

Just a quick journal to say I'm still alive and need to get around to uploading stuff :D

First of all, Happy new year everyone <3 2011 wasn't too bad, and ended pretty epicly with fireworks from the beach :3 was nice.

Once I get back from Midfur and now that Christmas is over I should get back into doing (and uploading >.>) stuff, and can give a bit of a progress update on the Taxidermy front for those not on my facebook :D

I do have some epic news on the whole Taxidermy shenanigans though. Thanks to an amazing volunteer at the local museum she put me into contact with a Taxidermist here that I hadn't known about. Met up with him and he is happy to teach me :D Just have to organise a time when we are both free and I can start on a lifesize fox. So. Damn. Excite.

I need to get in contact with a few commissioners I haven't heard updates from yet D: If you've commissioned me, please check your notes!

That's all for now, should get some images up tonight of examples for my table this year and possibly open for a few 30 min sketches so I have more examples once a few more other commissions are out of the way :D

One of our own greatly needs our help. Sporty pup, who is a local Georgia fur needs to have surgery due to a bad valve in his heart. This particular condition is called Valvular Heart Disease, and if not treated will cause heart failure. The surgery will take $40,000 total, but needs $16,500 up front, just to be able to have the surgery. The remaining $24,000 will be billed later, so he needs to get this money soon. The longer Sporty has to wait for the surgery, the greater the risk is of heart failure. The hope is to have enough to be able to have the surgery later this month in Asheville, NC., but only if the doctor see’s that the amount needed will come in quickly after.
Sporty, is currently 30 years old, but will be 31 in March. Besides being a furry and occasional fursuiter, he is also a father of a 3 1/2 year old boy, named Koda.

Back from Midfur, survived the Christmas and New Years rush and still alive and twitching~

Just a quick update for everyone!

Working on commissions like mad in between working a ton and looking into things (still!) for trying to get overseas. I've just hit enough monies to cover for flights and accommodation for the Taxidermy course for sure now :D I need to look up exactly how much I need again, for memory I converted it to AUD and aimed for that, now that the exchange rate is good I might not need so much!

Midfur was fantastic - ignoring the hotel :P I miss a lot of people already and can't wait to see them again <3 Pondering doing dealers table again next year but with more bone/fur stuff - any input?
There are still a few people I need to get in contact with as well xD Need more hours in the day to do things :C

Pondering uploading photography here (Yeah, I caved and bought a good camera after Archon and Nix got one :P) or a separate account so people aren't getting spammed by not art stuff. Would be better if FA had folders so I could sort out my stuff better :C Does anyone really mind if I put photography stuff up on here? or want to keep it separate?

Well, Tal suggested I do the Iron Artist thing, so what the hell, sure!
I've almost finished off the two commissions I have left, and need something to kill time at work :D

What's Iron artist?

I'm doing 100, $5 sketch commissions, -half- the price of my usual sketch commissions :D you tell me vaguely (which characters, rough pose, etc) what you want and I draw it for you. The catch?

-I draw what I want with the given details.
-I take 5 slots at a time, so I don't get overwhelmed.
-Can be digital or traditional.
-Artwork will NOT be mailed (unless asked otherwise + shipping paid)
-Paypal only (exceptions for locals)
-Can do bust shot (shoulders up) for $3

What I WON'T draw
Porn (Pinup/tasteful is fine)
