I must be feeling masochistic today, because I find myself randomly pondering: would people actually be interested in buying character reference sheets from me? I despise drawing them, but maybe I should try pushing myself a little.

So I ask: if you were to buy a ref sheet, what would you like to see? Front/back/side; expressions or headshot; genitals/butt? Maybe I'll put together a template based on what people want most.



Maybe I'll even draw a few (for myself and freebies). No promises. xP

So this is something I normally wouldn't do: I am negotiating a two character NSFW commission from  xx0morgan0xx - but I'm all out of ideas. So, I'm opening up a slot with one condition: I need a female, herm (must have boobs), or femboy character (must have a reference; not just "make this character a femboy") that wants to have messy sex with Arkant.

So for whatever reason, the holidays seemed to kill my drive. Well, I was also super busy at work, so all of my energy was focused on that...

Anyway, down to business. I'm opening up both headshot requests (your character and choice of expression) and full drawing ideas. However, there's a new twist for the full picture ideas. Along with including one of my characters, the idea must be able to be portrayed in a single image (no comics or multiple panels - i.e. one single action/scene).

Two more things to note: I ask that you please be a watcher (even if you just now started watching), and I'm very selective about who can be with Shaere'na in adult images (preferably only females).

So I was going to add an artist to my watch list and I found out they have me blocked. I wonder why? I'm pretty quiet and try to be respectful. I don't recall ever saying anything to this person... Maybe they blocked me because of my response to a particular YCH commission (by a different artist)? I may have been a little harsh, but it looked sloppy and could have been fixed with a couple of minor changes.

Oh well, I'm not going to lose sleep over it. I was just a little surprised.

On another note, I haven't been drawing much over the past month (the latest sketch I posted was the first drawing I've done since the holidays). I will hopefully have more time to draw soon. There are a couple more headshot sketches to do, as well as the mini comic and some LFI sketches.

Speaking of the mini comic, anyone want to play the role of the bad guy (necromancer)? Just note that this character will die in the comic.

Ok, since my LFI series seems to have little steam behind it (but some great ideas, thanks to those who replied), I'm going to try something a little different.

Okay, I'm opening a new journal for my "Looking for Inspiration" (LFI) sketch series. Comment with your ideas on what I should sketch (pencil). I only have a few rules:

1. Be watching me.
2. Include at least one of my OCs (with some exceptions).
3. Be specific! Paint the picture with your words; inspire me!

So today I'm just posting a bunch of commissions that I've been sitting on, from various artists. After the initial posting, I'll be moving them to my scraps like the other commissioned works I've posted. I like to keep my main gallery filled with only art that I've done.

I spend a lot of time alone. Sometimes I ponder what is worse... Self-imposed isolation, or the isolation that comes with seemingly being ignored by the world around you?

Sometimes I just think too much...

So I finally decided to get a Nintendo 3DS... And I wouldn't call myself a fan of Pokemon, but right now the only game I have for it (aside from older system titles) is Pokemon Y.

I hate my dreams, but I usually enjoy them. I hate them because when I feel like I'm done with trying to find love, and I feel like I would prefer to be on my own, they show me how good love can feel. Last night was a bit more unusual than the normal dreams I have like that.

The dream, though I barely remember much of it, started in some Japanese style coastal village. I know it started this way, though I don't remember it. There was some sort of festival going on. Beyond that, all I really remember is the very end of the dream. Apparently I had spent the entire day with a girl who turned out to be a vampire. She had a cute, plump face and big red lips. Her hair was black, and braided in two long pigtails. She was wearing a green festive kimono, I think. The dream ended with me asking her if I could stay with her (she said she must go as she was shutting a door or gate before me). With tears in her eyes, she told me that I couldn't. In a flash, I knew that she was cursed to never have lasting love. I saw glimpses of people she'd spent but a day with over her cursed existence. Before I could even cry out her name, I was back where the dream started. Walking on a beach on the outskirts of the village. Sounds of the festival's opening ceremonies rising up from the village.

I have but a faint idea of what her name was. I think it was "Irinia."

I woke up feeling sad for her, and for myself, as that wound will keeps being reopened, just when I thought it had healed.
