I know I've been pretty dormant for the past while, so allow me to explain why I've slowed down.

First, there was (of course) the pandemic. Shouldn't need to elaborate on that. Though I live in Manitoba so it didn't get hit too hard here.

Secondly, as a result of the pandemic, my grandparents temporarily moved out of their assisted living home to come live with my family. They were here from April until early June, and it was kind of hard to manage since my grandmother has pretty late stage dementia, and my grandfather was going through chemotherapy. Two added things to juggle around.

Thirdly, my mental health and drive to do productive things took a serious hit, but I'm trying to get better...

and finally, in early August my (new) old computer got all busted up and wasn't able to connect to the internet. Although now I have a new new one, but since that was the only proper way for me to draw and stuff I just never got around to making anything

so yeah here we are

I'll try to start uploading more things now that I got a new laptop, so hopefully this one doesn't implode after 7 months!

Hey guys, just making a little update to tell you what's going on~

I probably won't be uploading a whole lot until April, which is when my semester at University ends. This semester is proving to be pretty tough, and even though I'm on a week long break now, I still can't guarantee lots of previously started drawings and projects will get finished (aka: No Nut November and The Vore Gang stories)

I'll try to get to it as soon as I can, but I'm just saying not to expect much until April. Also sorry for not uploading anything on Valentine's Day, The first couple weeks of February and the last week of January were pretty rough for me out here in the real world- Just haven't been feeling super motivated lately.

Anyways, I'll get on those projects when I can, and sorry again for all of the delays, and Happy belated Valentine's Day!~

Hey, everyone! Sorry that I forgot to make a journal about this earlier, but I realize that November has ended and I haven't gotten even close to where I wanted Carter's No Nut November challenge to end.

Because of this, I've decided to make his challenge ongoing. It's not restrained by November so I can update it whenever I want, just so I can finish it. That being said, it might take a while to completely finish, so let's all just pretend it all happened in November.

Carter's challenge is not done yet, I think I just burnt myself out a bit last month with all of the drawing. I promise I will get back to it eventually. The next part is gonna be hard to make look good, but I think it'll be worth it.

Sometimes I wonder whether people favourite my art because they like it and want to see me improve, or because of the pandering to this niche ass fetish.

Like, if I never drew belly growling stuff would I even still have an audience? Well, probably. Albeit a smaller one. And it's not like the audience I currently have is even big, it's pretty small, with an average of like 8 favourites per drawing.

I don't mean to sound greedy or attention whorey, but I just want to gain something more out of this. Or maybe I'm gaining a lot and just not realizing it. Is it the viewer that's being ignorant to me, or me that's being ignorant to every viewer?

Is anyone other than me even reading this journal? Does it matter? Maybe. I'm mostly just writing this for myself. But it would be nice for people to appreciate something more than just big hungry bellies, even though they are pretty fucking sick.

Am I low to assume that most people don't care about my other drawings? Probably. Even though the view and favourite count agree with me. I'm not accusing anyone specific or attacking anyone. I'm not even trying to make people change their minds. Im just wondering if people care about my art in general.

Maybe I'm just too pessimistic though. I mean, just because it didn't get added to the view or favourite count doesn't mean nobody saw it. I still have tons of watchers that see it in their new submissions page. They scroll down and see it in small thumbnail form; just because they don't click doesn't mean they don't appreciate it, right? I mean, I don't favourite literally every drawing somebody I'm watching makes either.

Maybe I'm overthinking things. Just because I'm proud of or happy with a specific drawing of mine, doesn't mean everybody else has to. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. That's what the favourite button is for, right? Doesn't matter if the drawing's old and unappealing to the artist. If the viewer wants to see that, then that's what the viewer will see.

...Did I answer my initial question? I kinda feel like I didn't-
