when I first bought it, the description stated it would be coming with 16gb of RAM and 1tb hard drive. The price of 699 I figured was a major steal...


so two days later, it finally arrives. When I opened the box (with the help of Moo the box-sniffing bomb dog), the labels and other paperwork that came with the the box stated it was only 8gb with 1000gb harddrive. Immediately hit rage mode...I was on the phone with Amazon to complain and demand the number to the third party seller, when I fired it up and snooped around. Soooo..

the about section said it had 20gb RAM and 1000gb HDD...I kinda stopped right there....they installed a 16gb RAM card along with 4 gb extra....The. Hell....What? did they run out of 1tb harddrives and decided giving me 4 extra gb of ram would be cool??


I'm confused...


but I could definitely tell it was worked on before I got it...it didn't have any fancy plastic or wrapping...it was just in egg crates and wrapped around twice with paper. No damage or anything but just wondering if they installed the ram and drive themselves or what...Soooo...yeah....

I am leaving for 3 weeks for training to get my CDL-A. Once finished, I am going to be on the road for time on end and so I am trying to find a laptop so I can still draw and game on it. Can anyone give me a couple ideas for laptops that can handle PSCC flawlessy without lag?

so lately I've been drawing a various of things while trying to work around my new schedule and sleep order. I wake up at 3am everyday so far right now, or at least until the order is filled for my new job.

Other then that I have been okay for the most part. Got a new keyboard too...cause my other one went to crap. Not sure if that is entirely relevant but I figured I'd share anyway because why not?

So...my brother is willing to help me get into a career field...hes given me some advice on what jobs to look for and I really want to try it.


I was fired before I could get a high enough loan of about 5k to pursue a different career path. I just want this chance I have to go from factory worker with no other skills or knowledge in a dead end zone, and go into a career that Ive been wanting since the army threw the door in my face.


Does anyone now how I can come up with 5k so I don't lose my car or my house? I just need it to cover five months of bills.


If I can find an entry level job, then I can go into the leasing field like my brother did because working on an hourly wage is NOT working.

So...seeing as my job fucked me pretty good and I lost it...

I need to finish one more commission and then I am taking an art hiatus to focus more on my job.


I fucked up big time and now we can't make our bills because last month I only brought home 700. I need to bring home more. I haven't been able to pay our rent on time in months, and it makes me feel stupid and irresponsible.

it happened during the hot peak, so I am sure it just overheated...but when I took it out of the window and tore it open, the back condenser coils were so badly clogged with crap I was pulling gunk out almost two inches deep against the fins. I deep cleaned it the best that I could...so I am hoping it worked....its running okay now...but I am afraid it will shut down again...

Recap:

I went to ColossalCon'17 at the Kalahari Resort in Sandusky, OH. It was fun, not as grand as the first or second one I've been to, but still rather enjoyable.

ALSO!

My pen arrived the day I left, (UPS dude came just about an hour before we had to leave) and dropped it off. It's waaaayyyy better then my old pen. Way better. Mostly due to the fact its not even the same type of pen that I had originally with my Cintiq. This one is different. Thicker, more durable. Also the switch button isn't stucking up half past my fingers so it doesn't get in the way where I have to hold it down with electrical tape. Grip is better too. So I will be drawing again. I have a few I would like to do for  jesse_aike for helping me get this new pen. So those will come first and then we will move on to other stuff.


Probably going to do WoW inspired pictures. We shall see.

I am a hilo driver. Thus, I work with two other people.

One is Roy

The other is Kimmy.

Both. Suck. Major. Ass.

Roy likes to bitch about everything, make people fell inferior to him, skips work if someone (me or Kimmy) took a day off/ called in sick. He will call in for a two for one EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

Kimmy is practically best buds with my boss, who in turns allows her to use her cellphone constantly (though it is prohibited and I am forbidden for having mine on the floor) and doesn't help out even when asked.

I cant even count how many times the both of them threw me under the bus since my dad left the position and went to shipping, which was the whole reason I even became a hilo driver though I HATE sitting for long periods of time. I swear, my ass gets so numb that I have to drive hovering over my seat on the way back home sometimes.

I just want to run machines, make boxes, pack at the presses or even sort in quality...something much more...vigorous. Something where I don't become a hefty fat ass just by driving around on a battery operated lift truck.

So I either kill my points and get booted off of it (which is probably the best) or tough it out....pain and all.
