Twisters rip across the Midwest and Southern part of the Country yesterday. My own tri-state area has seen 28 fatalities so far and many more wounded. Madisonville Indiana, a town of 1,900... Completely gone... Moscow, Ohio and Chrichton Kentucky, may be beyond repair. A newspaper from Jefferson City Missourri was found blowing along the street of Cincinnati, Ohio. One even jumped the river from Kentucky to Ohio. from pictures of this particular tornado you could see the smoke stacks of a nuclear power plant. Had it hit there instead... I don't even want to speculate...

In the South, Suuper cells produced several small tornados in the same place and at the same time wipping out miles of land in Alabama.

Our sirens went of a couple times and we wondered if it was happening to us... The worst we got was high wind and hail. We were lucky, and I am extremely thankful for that. However, others were not so lucky... My heart goes out to the families and individuals that lost loved ones and homes in this most recent sweep of storms. I applaud the rescue crews, repair teams and active hospital, police and fire crews that are helping these people through this disaster, I also applaud the everyday heros that stood up when the need was greatest and helped get people to saftey, search for survivors and opened their homes to those in need.

Hello everyone! Things have been going kind of slow for me lately... Don't really like that, I need to stay busy otherwise I get frustrated because I feel like i'm wasting time. The story i've been working on is still coming along and is taking some interesting turns However, I still don't have an intro for it and when I read it, it's not bad but lacks the initial push I want. So I'm taking a little break and trying to get the creative juices flowing.

I've decided to offer a FREE comission to each of my 11 original watchers. (I only say original 11 just in case someone decideds to +watch for free stuff.) You all have given me insight, advice and a much needed boost in my self esteem. Therefore I would like to offer each of you a free comission (a drawing, poem or short story of your desire).

I will be doing them in sets of two so whoever the first two to message me are will be the first two done, so on and so forth. I do have some rules about the comissions but will post them once I hear back from everyone, along with the order of which they will be done.

Just wanted to apologize for my writers breakdown a few days ago... Kind of embarassed that I posted that. But the goodnews is that I think that I have finally come out of my funk.

Last night, while I was at work, I had an idea pop into my head. As I rolled it around in my head it exploded into something alive. It was like a nuke went off in my head. I've been excited about it ever since. i will start posting it as soon as the pages start flowing.

However, I have the basic idea and title fully formulated. Here's a short summary:

For starters, it's kind of a sci-fi/ murder mystery. But nothing too crazy, I'm going to try to keep it as believable as possible.

Earth's economic situation finally came to a head, alliances were made and the world was yet again at war. When the smoke cleared the countries of the world set aside their differences and unified, bringing peace and prosperity. The world began to look at things differently and people no longer lived to work, the worked to live. Pleasure became the center of human culture and also an addiction. One addiction was dreams. The Dream Machine allowed you to have whatever dream you wanted for as long as you wanted it to feel. You could also network your dreams with others; popping in and out of someone elses dreams,sharing them with others and even allowing you to alter what you don't like. Eventually though, something bad was bound to happen. People wanted to be scared, people wanted to feel the rush of life as the dreamed. People wanted to have nightmares... And once the nightmares started, the world outside of the dreams didn't matter. Once the nightmares started... you never left...

Darker than what usually runs through my head, but I think it has great potential. Hope everyone else thinks so too. ^_^

I've had an idea for a story for quite some time. Okay, more like a dozen stories and I can't figure out how to start a sinlge one of them! This is the most frustrating thing about being a writer for me. The ideas are there, and they won't go away until I write them down and i can't write them down unless i know where to start. This is why I keep uploading all my old stuff from deviantArt.

This is also why I usually get discouraged when I try to share my ideas... In the past some people have actually gotten very angry with me because I have the raw materials but can't put any of them into words. No one wants to follow some one around for a few pages of good stuff every once and a while if there's going to be a dry spell for a long period of time.

Once everyone else gets discouraged so do I and then I withdraw from all this. Its a shame to cause i enjoy writting. It helps keep me calm. Don't really know why I wrote this journal. Guess i just thought i needed to explain myself or something...

Okay, first i would like to apologize to everyone. I'm the type of person that goes through artistic dry spells... I've actually sat down and tried to force myself to do something but nothing happens and then i get frustrated which doesn't help. Fortunately, ideas are starting to roll around in my head gain so it all should be over soon and I can get back to doing what I love.

Just had the fleeting that I should probably pop on here and tell everyone what is going on and that I hadn't merely disappeared. Just a little dry is all but there's rain in the forecast! =)

Okay, everytime I try to submit a poem or short story. It is completely destroyed somewhere intransit and it is getting me extremely miffed... Considering that i'm a writer and almost everything I have ready for submission is text this is becoming a problem and if anyone would happen to know whats going on i would be extremely happy for the help... I'm not technologically inclined. I'm only in my 20's but I'm an old soul and would feel better with a typewriter, or a caligraphy pen or something...

Hello everyone! Ark here just giving you an update on everything. New art is being completed as we speak and i have lots of Ideas for new stuff swirling around the ol' noggin. For once I'm not geting artists block! Still having a little trouble transferring some of my old arts and writings over to FA though... However, I'm sure i will get that all figured out soon.

To be honest, things are off to a slow start for me, but i remain an optimistic wolf!
