[Note from the journal: I'm not getting political. I'm just implying that this year sucks]

Today marks 80 years since Hiroshima and Nagasaki got nuked (mentioning Nagasaki even though it got bombed 3 days after Hiroshima).

This kind of event was horrifying to talk about especially for someone who lives in the United States. Hiroshima got destroyed by what mankind created was something out of a nightmare. World War II was still going on until Oppenheimer thought "what if we created a bomb made out of uranium and radioactive material?" This is what "fuck around and find out" does during these times when the war was going on. On August 6th, 1945, the Little Boy bomb dropped on Hiroshima at 08:15 AM, killing thousands upon thousands of people, animals even. The fact there was manga and movies about it, showing the view of those who survived fucking scares me half to death.

In the movie, Barefoot Gen, during the bombing scene, everyone, even children, elderly, and animals, was getting disintegrated from the very bomb it was dropped. Everyone getting stabbed, impaled, crushed, and killed from the blast. That movie, alone, set a fear of war and a nuclear death - when the bomb drops or after the blast - within me. The aftermath alone tells us how mankind brought the most powerful and yet deadly thing upon those who suffered and/or died.

Yet to this day, the shadows of those who died from the blast remain and the structures still remain, only as a memorial of the ones who survived and died from the bombing of Hiroshima. Same goes for Nagasaki.

There are those who survived and went on to work on animated films and comics. One of those being Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata - two of the other founders of Studio Ghibli - one of them was born 3 years after the bombings. And another one being Keiji Nakazawa - mangaka of Barefoot Gen.

There is one thing I learned about the history of it. Sometimes you have to cherish these good moments before it all turns to ash and dust. Also don't launch a nuclear bomb on a city otherwise history would repeat itself.

So I have planned on something here this month, I may need to post some art here (hopefully). But other than that, my birthday is coming up. So I better need a bunch of birthday gifts (or not that many, idk).

Due to recent events from YouTube, the link to my YouTube channel is removed and the group folders - along with the ones with it, being my NATMOS:R oc's - are removed and have canonized the characters deaths due to my newly recent absence of a community I was in. So that means no art uploads at the weekend for the time being and requests and art trades will be closed as well. That would also mean that The Door to My Life uploads are cancelled too. But if there will be an art uploaded here on this website, it will be put to a minimum so don't expect vent art being uploaded in scraps. From the recent decline of mental health from the past day, that would mean a mental health break on the weekend. So until then, enjoy the rest of your time

The block button now shitty, the world set to aflame, everything makes me worry too much. Because I HATE politics. Nobody wants to talk about it, neither do I. Do I want to make myself clear on this?

... Sorry, I'm just rambling too much. I'm just mad even. But I just need to not talk about something like this. Because there's a high chance of losing your friends when you talk about politics.

I sometimes forget that someone who runs this app said that Mew is a fetus.

I get there there are guidelines here, but that doesn’t mean that they should remove anyone’s art (that have aged up and such) from here. There’s a blacklist for a reason. You should always block the tag. If this keeps happening to some people, why couldn’t they just fire the person who claimed Mew to be a fetus?
