Am I making too many sci-fi based characters lately? Random question I know, but it's kinda bothering me.

I don't know, when you make a character, don't you want to roleplay as them in random stories? Put them in the situations that just fall out of place and into the random series of events that follows through with it?

I see so many accounts on here that can write amazing stories, have decent characters (Overrated, yet decent), and seem like they'd enjoy roleplaying but then their accounts are all along the lines of "HATE ROLEPLAYING, ROLEPLAYING MUST DIE."

Now don't get me wrong, I know there are plenty of people out there who simply roleplay sex, and then go about their merry way, so on, so forth. Maybe that's the reason most people don't like it? Maybe they just really really hate typing when it doesn't involve working on something of theirs?

Personally I feel when you take the time to make an oc, whether through really elaborate time consuming drawing, adoption, or just plain old coloring over some lines, I feel like you took the time to want to experience this character's story in your own way.

Again I'm most likely wrong, I adore rping, and experiencing new stories, ideas, and so on. My favorite rp partner has always been, and always will be my girlfriend. And there are plenty of times I've seen people who strictly rp with their mates. That makes sense, that's just the person they love to do that with.

Idk, maybe I'm weirdly ranting or something? I probably have no cause whatsoever to say jack shit. I digress, just figured I'd put this out there.

I just like writing down fighting game quotes, and Injustice 2 is a bad influence lol.

If you like, post a character and their ref so I understand their personality and I'll write down 20 quotes between the first and second character. One set of 10 from the first towards the second, and then likewise.

This is more of just for fun and anyone can comment and I'll gladly do this. You can request my characters as fighting partners, or anyone else who's interested. Just feel free to comment and link.

I won't be able to work on "The Cold Bite of Winter" Everyday...which is unfortunate but work is work.
