I know I've been saying I'm genderqueer for a while now, and uh... That hasn't really changed! I still more or less am (or I guess kind of non-binary?), but I've been estrogen for about a month and a half now and uh... It's something! Mostly good, but it's kind of a roller coaster!
I mean, when other trans folks tell you it's a second puberty, they aren't kidding! It really is, for all the good and bad that entails. So, everything feels really amazing, sensory-wise and mentally (nowhere nearly as quite to anger), and my libido isn't this horribly rampant thing anymore that I -have- to take care of, buuuuut... The valleys are hard to deal with; they've always been difficult, because I am by my nature, a very emotional person! But NOW, oooh, now... Now when I hit one, it's like everything short-circuits and I spend an entire day crying. -That- isn't too fun for me, andddd, where I'm with the 'mones right now, my libido is just.
Gone.
As in, I am lucky to get an erection with intense desire to do so for even a couple minutes. BUT, it just gives me an excuse to enjoy more sensory-play, makes kissing more enjoyable, stuff like that.
That said, my pronouns! Well, uhm. If you've spoken to me somewhat recently, you'll know I've using singular-they for a while, but female ones are feeling more and more comfortable as time goes on, too.

Posted 11 years agoSo, as it stands, I am in dire need of cash as I am currently still job-hunting, and low on funds.
My roommate works full time, but has medical expenses to cover with regards to transitioning. As such, we need help with this and next month's bills, if possible. I don't really like having to depend on others for support, but it's simply a necessity at this point; I don't want either of us to end up on the streets.
I have, however, had a few call backs for interviews in the last day or so, and as such, my prospects are much higher now than they have been in months. Still, even if I'm hired immediately (as in, within this week), it will still take time to get our financial situation sorted out.
Really, even a single dollar helps us out a ton. If the Internet can raise almost $40,000 for potato salad, surely some of you can help us out with some of our basic needs.

I'm in something of a bind. Due to myself not properly budgeting for this month (namely, not turning off auto-payments after Tracy moved out), I've shot myself in the foot and am currently in the negative in my checking by $140.
That is, my current balance is -$140. I feel really foolish about this, and again, I hate to ask any of you for help, but I'm at the point where I need it. I can't buy groceries, I can't buy gas to actually get to work / anywhere else, and I don't get paid until the 17th.
And I really, seriously am stretched with my paycheck(s) as it already is. It's not something I expect, but if any of you can chip in $20, $10, even $5 to help me get a bit sorted out, I'd appreciate it very, very much.
I am even willing to ship a signed cassette copy of my album Tape(s) as a thank you, once I have the means to do so! ;w; Just send me your address and I will ship it out alongside a personal, handwritten note of my gratitude! ;w;

Further computer woes. 8S
Posted 12 years agoSo, I ended up having to buy a new boot drive for my computer. That was all well and good.
HOWEVER, now my storage drive(s) won't initialize properly. The situation is as such:
In Windows 7, with storage partitions, you can turn them into Dynamic Disks, which allow you to span a partition over multiple hard drives as one seamless partition; this is what I had done with a 500GB drive and two 1TB drives. The 1TB drives work just fine, however since the 500GB is basically the partition's header drive (the beginning), I can't access ANYTHING that's store on the 1TB drive that WAS in use, as well as the 500GB drive.
So, basically, what it's come down to is, I have to send off my drives to a data recovery center in order to get it all back, otherwise I'll lose EVERYTHING from the last 10+ years, all because I didn't do the smart thing of having a backup system in place, which is really just... Absurb in this day and age where you can pick up a WD Passport drive with 3TB of space for $130. So, once I get this crap dealt with, that will be my plan from there on out. 8S
The boot drive fiasco also accounts for why I'm never on anymore, as well as my work schedule basically leaving me with no real time to be online, aside from Twitter, as it is the only social media I can access at work.

Y'wanna know what fixed my computer? RESEATING THE SATA CABLE. Seriously. I was trying to see if I could back it up on
's computer, and in doing so, realized it would boot up. So, I tried just reseating the cable, ran chkdsk /f, and... HUZZAH. IT ACTUALLY FREAKING WORKS. I FEEL SO STUPID BUT HAPPY.
And yes I backed up the drive immediately just in case the damned thing does actually die because holy shit I am not going through with that AGAIN right afterwards. So uh, guess I'll try and be on more (and clear out my 1100+ subs!)

Posted 13 years agoIt's hard for me to really come to grips with right now, but my mom passed away this morning; believed to be of natural causes. Despite her illness, and the stresses that came with it, I always knew she was a good person at heart. I'm glad I got to talk to her one last time last night, and let her know that I loved her.
In many ways, I'm actually somewhat relieved, because I knew she was in pain from her Parkinson's, and could see her memory slipping. The last thing she would've wanted was to linger, so for that, I'm thankful her passing was so sudden. May you Rest In Peace, Mom, and may your next life be more kind.

Is there something about me, or my character, that just makes people go "EW GROSS THAT GUY IS ABHORRENT!" Because every now and then, I'll find someone who really, really hates either me, or anything involving and I for some unknown reason.
