Thinking About Games
General | Posted 4 years agoSo I often run into the dilemma of playing games on other platforms with others. This year has been the most challenging as I end up dipping more money in than I am comfortable doing. To put things into perspective, I have a PC, PS5, Switch, and Xbox One S. However, I don't play on Xbox given how much I wanted to play on the PS5 more, but then find out hardly anyone has a PS console around me nor do they play on it. This makes my yearly subscription to PS+ nearly worthless, in my opinion. I can play some great titles, but mainly alone and that sucks. I typically play more on my Switch with friends than other platforms and that leaves me a bit more limited.
So here is something I am wanting to ask. What consoles do you typically play online most with others? I ask this as I have the idea of trading in my Xbox One S, getting the Series X, and getting Xbox Live Gold to play online with others. That's one idea related to Xbox, but another one is related to PC where I gather more people together to play more games with them. Let me know what you think as this is the spur of the moment sort of thing with me.

Nearing the End, but Not without Trouble
General | Posted 4 years agoThis week marks 14 out of 16 for my semester at college. 3 weeks to go. Should be easy coasting now, right? Well...not...exactly. Lets chat about this for a moment as I go through a class.
Fundamentals of Music is a class I chose as one of my electives weren't available this semester. Or rather, about all of the ones I had picked out weren't available this semester. FoM hasn't been a smooth class on my end due to the fact of how fast my teacher tends to go by content without letting someone get caught up on the material. Not to mention explaining things a little sloppily to where I don't immediately understand it. As for homework, it has been harsh here and there with how inconsistent it comes and how much we need to do. Even if we are given sufficient time, stuff on my end gets in the way of it, which I will explain later. And for the Final, my teacher said because we're behind, that Finals may be pushed to December 6th, a Monday and the day after I get back from a weekend of me being out of town for a family event. Not to mention that this is pushing things past the number of weeks this course said it would take. Studying the weekend leading up to Finals will be difficult should we remain behind the way we are. And personally, I don't wish for it to be this way.
But thankfully, I don't have to do the same with Physical Science. The homework from McGraw Hill Connect is still ass to me and I have gotten to the point of hardly finishing my Pre-Lectures despite so few of them being left. In fact, next week is when the final one is due. I am glad to be nearly done with the homework, but I have to really focus more on the exams given how harsh they have been for my grades. 47.5% is what I got from my recent test and that's due to a general lack of material to often study from amongst other reasons I will explain later. Otherwise, there is little to say wrong with this class.
HOWEVER, I can NOT say the same with Social Psychology still being an utter pain to me and how much time I am expected to have. All throughout this semester, my teacher has been inconsistent with assignments, getting back to us on subjects, what she expects us to do, and how she asks us to do things. And this isn't mentioning how she disregards the amount of time a student has to complete things. For example, each of our roughly weekly tests has us needing to make 2 hours of our time out of the week to finish it. We can't pause or exit it as that would mean it gets automatically entered. You HAVE to do it all the way through with no break. And recently, this and last week's "quizzes"(As she likes to call it), we're forced to spend an extra half an hour on top of the 2 hour time limit with an extra 25 questions added to the usual 50 we do. Given how we can use the book for these tests, I take my time, but now I can't as much with the question count being spiked by 50% without an extra hour given. To add on, this was just for 2 chapters last week and this week is 3, so there is no telling if the question count got spiked. She didn't state at all in the semester that she would group up chapters in our quizzes or change the point total for each. She once had our Chapter 3 "quiz" be worth 500 points and she dropped that from our grade, not fixing the point count at all. Hell, she still hasn't graded our discussion posts past week 1, marking each week on my end as "Overdue". She hasn't been taking the time to give us what our current grades are nor really communicating to us. And it shows more in our Final PRESENTATION. She gave us all the details today, but the amount of research we need to do is a lot more compared to any other assignment. And you know what sucks? She suggests software to use for the presentation, but says that there will be no "in-class time to teach us how it works". This is ALL ONLINE and she hasn't done a proper online meeting with us except for live recordings that we can watch later. And she hasn't taught us anything herself at all. She just gives us assignments each week and expects us to instantly understand ALL of the material in a chapter. My teacher has no respect for her students nor for their time and it's the most frustrating thing I've found all this semester.
Now we come to the end of this rant of a sort with each of my classes. I am honestly burnt out from this semester wanting me to do more than any other semester I've taken. I've been misinformed numerous time throughout the semester, paid more than what I needed to on various things, not properly instructed on what to do, and been tasked with too much to do each week that I'm not used to anymore. I still work at a minimum wage usher position in a movie theater 2 days a week, 12 hours a week, with only a 5th over $200 per paycheck that I get every 2 weeks. And those 2 days are in between college days as to keep a streak going so I can rest during some weekends, but clearly this semester has been pushing me around more than need be. On top of all that, my mental health isn't so stable. If you've noticed me acting inconsistent in places, that is due to the semester drastically impacting how I would normally go about things. That and other elements such as certain games making me unhappy, life events such as my Grandpa Frank dying, and others I probably don't recall off the top of my head. I am at a point where I want to be done with college and done with my job. There is a lot I want to go on my life with and do rather than being tied down to these things. And...to be honest, this is where I need to ask for help. My SP Final Presentation is going to be harsh on me, so I need as much help as I can get to finish this soon as possible and turn it in. If any of my mutuals or those that know Social Psychology well, PLEASE let me know. I don't want to deal with this much longer and practically...I'm just begging to be out of college. So again, if you are able to, I wish to ask you for your help. And I thank anybody that can.

Needing a While
General | Posted 4 years agoThinking about it some more, I may not be writing more till December. Things lately have been a lot more draining on me and my mental health isn't so hot right now. To be honest...I may need a good time off of things once college is finished. A week off just to recoop from how things have been. I have until early December, so while I am busy, posting those images I got may take a while. That's all I have to say. Ciao for now.
New Ideas

To expand on this, remember that story teaser I made with Soul beating up a random Lucario? Well, let me be honest when I say that my idea for the initial story has changed up some. Not only did I get a new idea to add with it, but it's gonna be stretching into two Tales to tell as a whole. Can't promise the second Tale will be as long as the first, which may become a Slice of Nasurah story instead. And the new character teased in it will be getting some changes than what I had in mind. You'll see what I mean when I do inevitably write these stories. I can't, however, promise any specific window when these stories will be written and released. As it stands, college and work are gonna keep me busy. So please bear with me a while longer as I push through what remains of college. And yes, the short stories will still be coming. Don't worry.
Anyways, I gotta sleep. Long day leading to Sora in Smash tomorrow. Good night.

Thank you for a Great Birthday!
General | Posted 4 years agoI am quite late on saying this, but I wanna thank everyone for wishing me a happy birthday across Discord and Twitter. I needed it after a rather hard month. I did get some lovely gift art from some friends, but I may be taking a while to post them as college is wanting to screw me up the ass with homework yet again, so fuuuuun. BUT I will make it worthwhile with some of this artwork that I got as I wish to make a few short stories based on recent ones that I got. Just may take a while with the given circumstances of college and work keeping me busy.
And as a side note, the next coming month is gonna be strapping me for cash, so there's a good chance I won't be getting new art for a bit. If things can go well, however, I will be making some more Slice of Nasurah stories and even those description based short stories that include no text dialogue. Lets hope this month ends well for me, eh? Oh, and as for streams, I will be delayed on doing those until the end of the semester. So please, stay tuned and patient with me as I go through my last 2 months of college.

Update Time
General | Posted 4 years agoAnother month has passed by and quite a lot has been going on. Guess it means this big fella needs to update all of you on things yet again, so lets get to it.
To start off, I began my next semester of college and it's been rather rough so far. I take Fundamentals of Music(FoM), Social Psychology(SP), and Physical Science(PS). FoM is at 9 AM, but has a tutoring hour before class at 8 AM on Mondays that I'm going to weekly. PS is an evening class starting at 4 PM, but the end time changes between 6:50 and 5:50 on Monday and Wednesdays respectively. I only have to attend those classes 2 times a week on Mondays and Wednesdays, but SP is a online only class to where there is no virtual meetings unless it's to schedule a 1 on 1 with the teacher. PS is also an online class, but I have to attend online meetings. Now...why is 3 classes hard? Welp, allow me to explain that.
FoM has been hard to keep track on writing notes for stuff when I'm the only one in the class who uses the digital book, electronic book, or e-book for short. And the teacher doesn't cross reference the e-book and physical book whenever a Class Practice assignment pops up for us to do. And when it becomes homework, I have to start asking students to take images of their physical books because the e-book gives more problems to solve than the digital variant...and costs more than the physical item too. Talk about feeling scammed, but what feels more scummy is that we got told just today there is a site to where the entire physical book is available for us to use and even print pages without worrying about the limit that our tuition covered. You understand what I'm saying, right? It means I bought the e-book for nothing when this site was around and was told to us. BUT despite this being another variant of the book online, of course the site is unoptimized for mobile devices and many things are scrunched down in size or zoomed in. I tell ya, this is ridiculous how one class feels like it's trying to screw me out of money. Speaking of which...
SP is a class where things feel pretty disorganized. Our teacher hasn't been consistent on giving us our assignments to do for the week and decided to use 2 different e-books. One uses the site my FoM class uses, but the other site does the same thing...and lets me access my homework. And I had to pay for the first e-book, too, so now if I wish to do my homework from McGraw Hill Connect, I have to pony up $90 for another copy of an e-book. Mom is willing to pay for this, thank Arceus, but I tell ya, this is absurd how college feels like it is actively trying to screw me this semester so far in terms of getting necessary class materials. Oh, and that site I mentioned? I hate it because of assignments to where they have you select an answer and then rate your confidence. Get the answer wrong or vote "Low" on confidence and the site will add more questions to your assignment, drawing things out longer than need be. And it presents 5 concepts at a time to you, so it can be inconsistent what topic to focus on. To add on, I've encountered other assignments to where the questions are in the "Select All that Apply" format when the question only has one answer to choose from a list of 4 and, most of the time, it isn't "All/None of the Above" or combinations of those options. The site can be misleading at times and I despise that since I am trying to get a good grade, but a system is trying to actively screw me over. Now about that last class...
PS has me doing assignments on McGraw Hill Connect more than SP does, which really should've stemmed here. However, since both use this site, it feels equally annoying to do these classes. I will add on to SP and say that getting a grade based on posting a discussion post and needing 2 replies from other students is dumb as that means the fate of your grade is in the hands of the students. Back to PS, it's the least painful of the classes as I have a teacher who is willing to respond to me better on stuff over others and doesn't give me that feeling they are trying to screw me. With that being said, what's beyond that?
Well, if I can make it through a semester where I pay $200 a month for my tuition, use less than $200 to myself wisely, push through my job at the theater, I can FINALLY get my Associates in Arts after 3 and a half years. I'm so close to being done and when I am, I don't plan to go back to college for an indefinite amount of time. College has been stressful and draining funds from both my mother and I. I just want to look for a better job so that I may lead a better life. Do more with my time like stream games and maybe gain a new passion to follow in life. However, things recently still haven't been smooth despite my pushing to get through things as I do have other unfortunate news to share.
While working a shift at my lackluster theater job, I was the only usher on Sunday, September 5th, and cleaning theater 10 when a coworker radioed me to come to the box office. She said my older brother on the phone. When I got up there, he and mom on the same line told me to come to my grandparents' home as Grandpa Frank passed away. I was lucky I got to leave early as I didn't think this would happen. Least, not so soon. I know grandpa wasn't in the best condition as it is, but I didn't think we would lose him this year. I may not have talked about him very much on here, but part of my life was spent living with him and Grandma Diane when mom and I moved from my childhood neighborhood. They taught me a lot of things and disciplined me. And I may have picked up on saying "Fuck" a lot thanks to him, but it shows how he impacted me. He always loved to do gardening, watch the Cubs play on TV, and polishing/collecting coins despite being wheelchair bounded. He really knew how to live despite his condition. His funeral is Friday and I intend on going to it. Just to give him one last goodbye and hope that he rests well in Heaven like my other relatives.
I don't wish to end off on a very negative note, so I will say a few smaller good things that have occurred in the last month. After doing a few streams, I managed to 100% Psychonauts 2, a 3D platformer I really recommend anyone to give a shot. It's on Game Pass alongside the very first Psychonauts from all the way back when it first came out on the original Xbox. The first game was criminally underrated and deserved the second chance it got for the series to continue. Plus, both games don't take too long to complete. Just keep a guide on you if you plan on doing what I did as some collectibles can be hidden in some cheeky spots.
And...that's all I got on this update. I will be attempting to post more journals for streams whenever they come up as I plan to stream whenever possible. This college semester will just be taking me time to get to streaming, so if you look forward to that, sit tight. Next time, I plan to continue playing Dust: An Elysian Tail. The game after that...I don't know yet. But that's all for now.

This college semester will just be taking me time to get to streaming, so if you look forward to that, sit tight. Next time, I plan to continue playing Dust: An Elysian Tail. The game after that...I don't know yet. But that's all for now.

What's Going On? [Update]
General | Posted 4 years agoLets talk a bit. Where has the last more than 1 month gone for me? Well...
I said I would quit my job. I didn't, if anyone has seen my tame Twitter account. I didn't have the full willpower to quit and chose to endure it for a lot longer than I needed to. I've applied to another place, but getting all the information needed took me a lot longer than I hoped for just to finish the application. That and to finish a proper resume'. I was lacking a lot on my end and just doing what makes me happy, which was about anything. Like buying a whole new PC to use for gaming and to potentially play games with other friends. It was a lot of money to sink into, but I think it may be worth it...or not. I don't know given my short time with this PC so far.
I also want to go on to mention that I've partnered servers with Emberflame, a royal looking Ninetales I'm sure many must know by now. That and I've recently become a moderator on their server. I am doing my best to keep up on stuff over there, but to be fair, I feel like I'm not doing the best as one. That and to stay positive as...yeah, you can guess what I'm going to speak about.
My parents. I know mom tries her best for me, but she can be a nuisance at the worst times and Chuck still flares up over shit with little warning. I won't drown you all too much as I've spoken a lot about my parents as is.
As for other changes, I've been trying to stream more often and a recent stream was of me finishing Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart on Challenge Mode. I plan to stream as often as I can, so I may not be able to always announce my streams everywhere as often as I should. This is to just start stuff right away and to just let people join more naturally. And those donations I was promoting back then...I'm toning back on that. My ko-fi is linked here as it's the best place I can recommend to donate to. And I mean just linked on my account.
I know this sounds like a rapid fire of many things, but I don't wish to drown in the details too much on this update. I'm still trying to figure stuff out on myself, so...really? I just don't know how to tread when many things are tripping me up. I just need stuff to be more steady on me to proceed, if that makes sense. Anyways, that's all I wish to say.

Small Question
General | Posted 4 years agoShould I start labeling my content as Mature going forward given what I post? I'd like to gain some feedback on this as I know I had to start labeling one of my Twitter accounts 18+.
1 Day Only: Server Updated & Open to Join!
General | Posted 4 years agoAfter giving the server some thorough updating, my server has been changed up! Multiple editions were added to it, but with some things taken away. The biggest part of it all now is that you MUST be 18 years or older to join my server. I ran into a minor on Discord who lied to me about their age some weeks back and have decided to take the step into making my server 18+. Those who were 17 when they joined my server may stay, BUT they still can't have access to NSFW roles/channels until they are at least 1 month into being 18. Drastic? Yes, but I have my reasons for it. Other than that, the server is renewed. Feel free to join!

Going Live in a While/Big Stream Today
General | Posted 4 years agoAs a reminder, I'll be streaming Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart today. I'm likely going live around noon, so please sit tight while I get things set up and prepared. And don't worry about me needing stuff throughout the day. I have an idea in mind to take a break to eat sometime into the stream to eat. Another journal will be posted saying when I go live.
In Need of Help(Important Update)
General | Posted 4 years agoSo about 1 week back, I said I'd be getting a new job at a grocery store. I got a bit misinformed about the part where they had open interviews there as it was a 1 day event rather than 4. So I missed my chance. While making a resume today on "Resume Now", I ran into their paywall that I had little indication on them having. So if I want to print, download, or email it, I have to pay a fee that can balloon to $23.85 every 4 weeks after a 2 week trial of $2.35. Furthermore...once again, my job. Lets talk about this briefly.
I mentioned(Maybe) that we lost 3 assistant managers in a week. Already, those spots were filled, but they aren't too much better as of now. Last night's shift went bad with having to train a new guy 3/5 hours of our shift that another guy and I had. Well, it was meant to be 5 hours, but stretched to 6 because the 2 of us couldn't keep up with the amount of shows ending before we can get to them and we had to take out a huge load of garbage that piled up in a room by theater 13. We only got real help when we had 3 more shows to clean after I complained about it to an AM around 9:45, 15 minutes before the 2 of us ushers were meant to be off. And on top of that, the new schedule came in and they can't be bothered to keep me 1 day less on this job. Management is terrible, the usher schedule is horrible, and the conditions are driving me nuts. So now what?
Going against my mom's wishes as to not upset Chuck, I'm quitting my job at the theater. I'm frustrated, tired, and annoyed with having to work so hard to clean shows for $11.11 an hour and this is a while after we got a measly 1% pay raise. I know this is going to piss Chuck(Step dad, by the way) off a LOT, but I can't take the working conditions there anymore. I'm quitting and going to search for another job. There is no other way around it and that's final.
And that brings me to a big BIG thing I need help with. I won't be able to work for some time, so I need another way of making money. This is more of a "If you wish to" sort of thing, but I'll be streaming all day on Friday to play Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart off of my PS5. I'll be leaving my Ko-Fi link in the chat about every hour if anyone wishes to donate to me as I play. I lowered the cost of each donation from $3 to $1, so don't feel like you're giving too much. Anything you give goes a long way for me right now as I got to start saving some money on my end a lot more than before. What would also help is if you can spread this message around about me streaming on Friday as well. I honestly need whatever help or more that I can get. Because things don't look too bright for me right now.
I hope I can also live up to being an entertaining guy on the stream coming up. Below will be my links to both Twitch & Ko-Fi. I'll send out a post when I'll be going live on Friday, so for now, stay in touch and I really hope everyone is having a better day than I am.

Potential New Job?
General | Posted 4 years agoI won't sugarcoat it when I say that my job at the theater sucks. Many of you following me might already know that based on my posts either on Twitter, Discord, or even on here whenever I talk about it. It's hard enough as is when I have to usher more than any other position now, giving me no variety to what I do every time I go into work. However, things have been gradually getting more difficult as we're having a pair of assistant managers leave this week and we only just got a couple new part time employees on the job. I had to train one how to usher on Friday night, which didn't go down so smooth given how many shows had to be cleaned back to back and even shows breaking around the same time despite different times they start at. And we even had 3 ushers including myself that night. Same with Sunday night, so in order to make sure we didn't fall behind, I went ahead of the 2 new ushers and cleaned 2 theaters all by myself. Sweeping up garbage, picking up any large ones up off the seats/floors, spraying down any seats that may have been sat in with peroxide, and then taping any seats to show that they are clean. The spray and taping part take up more time than ever now to clean up shows, which has become a huge hassle.
The TL;DR of it all is that my job is a shit show and I need to search for a new job. Thankfully, I got tipped off from a friend of mine that I got to know at the theater before they quit that a Jewel Osco close to where the theater is at are doing open interviews starting around June 2nd and lasts till June 6th. If I can, I want to aim at getting a spot there and get hired. If I get hired and they pay me better, have flexible hours, and have people that are understanding there, I can potentially finally be free from working at the theater. I know some people at my current job are nice, but ushering is seriously isolating given how I am talking to the same people every time I go in. That and some people either talk very little to me, are a bit pushy to get me to do work right away when I am clocking in, or hardly help me when I need it most. Wish me the best for this as I plan to see if I can be hired at that grocery store.

Ideas, Ideas, Ideas
General | Posted 4 years agoIt's been a couple or more months since I've written a story. I should find a day to sit down and write one again, to be honest. I had a writing kick back then after posting Amber's "Sour Rivalry" story, but it faded when college became harder on me despite having one class during the recent semester, work became even more of a hassle on me, and my home life was getting pretty rocky at that time. SOOOOO, I've been trying to think of ideas here about what to potentially write next. It won't be a long arc like the previous story, but I want to make slice of life sort of stories. That or something that reveals or adds lore to the land I've made.
Not only that, but I've been thinking about how to go about getting new pieces of artwork. I may need to settle at a once or twice a month thing of how often I buy commissions just to save myself some money. Currently, I hope to buy and build a PC before the end of the summer, but with how things have been the past month, saving is going to be hard. That's why I need to find more methods of actually earning money on my end given the amount of work I often tend to do. Ideas on that?
And speaking of which, I want to plan on doing a stream either on YouTube or Twitch of me playing a game I pre-ordered this week. It's gonna be Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Let me know what platform you guys prefer and I'll make sure to make a journal post every time I go live. I can't guarantee that I will be on every day to stream the game on account of my job at the theater, BUT I will be attempting to 100% this game and commentate on it as it goes each stream. So do let me know what your thoughts are on that.
Anyways, thanks for listening to me talk about some stuff. I always appreciate it.

My Trip to Volo Auto & Illinois Railway Museum
General | Posted 4 years agoFINALLY, lets get to it. I got a lot to talk about when it comes to how I spent all of yesterday with a pair of my friends named Blake and Andy. Without taking too much time, lets go.
So it started with me waking up roughly around 7 AM, but slept an extra hour because my ride, that being Andy's Jeep, was going to be a while. Once I was up, all I did was watch videos while getting my stuff together. That and put in an order for Dunkin Donuts. Got Charli Cold Brew(Loved it) and a custom Beyond Breakfast Sandwich. Grabbed the order after Andy and Blake arrived and we even saw a friend of ours walking to DDs. I didn't know it was our friend Mary all this time that I've seen walked around this neighborhood several times. Anyways, the ride all the way over to our first stop, the Volo Auto Museum, was a long one. And I saw some neat sights along the highway. Sights that I will share later on.
So once we arrived at the Volo Museum, we went inside and got special wristbands for about $32 to get access to both the Auto Museum and a place called Jurassic Gardens. Upon entering the place, we've seen various vehicles from different time periods such as WW2 and old cars being restored to proper working condition. A grand majority of cars can be bought here except for one thing: CARS FROM FILMS. You have various cars such as the Ghostbusters' car, several from the Fast & Furious franchise, and even ones from bad films like the live action Cat in the Hat film. Oh, and they had Trump's fricking car there. That there was...rather weird for sure. Although, weirder than that is this place has carousel that was restored alongside these other machines that made music. Oh, but lets get to the best part of the trip for me: The 3 antique shops!
This place has all sorts of items here that made me so happy to see and I know my dad would love this place. They even had a place for video games alongside consoles, accessories, and games that are hard to find today. I managed to pick up one of two original Kingdom Hearts cases that were there. They aren't the ones with "Greatest Hits" labeled on it. No, this is the case with that special shine effect to it like from the KH2 case. I even saw other games that I long wish I could revisit like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. Plus, there was something else that made me giddy, but given some current events around it right now, I'll refrain from sharing the other thing I saw. Lets say I did get something from it and a $5 for guessing someone's favorite monster. Overall, I want to revisit this place again someday. Hopefully with my dad over this summer!
Now, moving on, we left this museum for the main one Andy wanted to take Blake and I to see: Illinois Railway Museum. This place had all sorts of trains and cable cars from over the last century. Plus, they even had barns that contained various trains that you can walk into to view or even view the outside of trains that could be used to run out on a track. And yes, you get to take train rides and cable car ride depending on the time they have a ride go. We rode 3 times in a day with two of the trains being the same. Although, we did have a late lunch because Andy wanted to get to the museum fast before a train departed and even had dinner roughly an hour after our late lunch of 5:30. Suffice to say, things started to get a bit scrambled as the day progressed, but we managed to see so many trains and some that were from Chicago as well. This may have been the weakest point in the trip to me as I felt more fascinated by the Volo museum beforehand, but this museum wasn't shy of being interesting in my eyes at least.
Although, on our final train ride, the mood for me soured some. Mosquitos swarmed our train car since the windows were open to let air flow, the train stopped 3 times in total before the end of the ride, and the ride lasted nearly an hour. I was glad we were done as I got annoyed from all the bugs swarming me in the train car. Luckily, as a final stop on our trip, we went to an ice cream place where I was the only one to get Thai Rolled Ice Cream. I got a vanilla graham cracker rolled ice cream topped with coconut shavings, toasted marshmallows on a stick, and popping bobba. It was just a bit worth it as a late night treat as we did happen to hear a scream before entering a place and then as we were on our way home, Andy pulled over after seeing a rather large spider crawling around the inside windshield of the car. Dropped my phone once we got out of the car cause it wasn't fastened on my clip. Later on in the drive back, we hit a traffic jam on the highway due to construction. I ended up getting home half past midnight since our drive back was so long, but managed to get things cozy before sleeping late at night.
Overall? I thought the day was amazing and I honestly can't wait to look forward to another trip like this. Hopefully it'll be planned better next time in terms how late we stay out and what we do with the day. Gotta plan steps out when it comes to these trips, yeah?

Posting stuff Tomorrow
General | Posted 4 years agoSo I'm tired after a very long drive back, meaning stuff will be posted tomorrow on my trip to a pair of great museums.
Going out today!
General | Posted 4 years agoHey, so I'll be out today. I'll make a journal covering that and a separate one detailing what the heck has been going on with me as of late. See you all in a while!
Small Update
General | Posted 4 years agoFor starters, I realize adding the date to these journals feels useless when I can already see the date of them to begin with. So journals won't have the date in the title going forward.
Next up, where the HELL have I been for the last 3 or so weeks? Lets start with my job at the theater. We opened up full time now, so that means more opportunities for hours at my job, right? Yes, but at a cost. Lately, people either haven't been showing up to work or have been quitting this job. I don't blame them. If you've seen my non-fetish account, you would've seen/known how my job at the theater is. It isn't great with how so much work can be shouldered onto someone without giving it a second thought. Filling sodas for other people has been more of a chore with people lining up fast sometimes to get their cups filled or having to deal with the machines shitting out in one way or another. While nailing a job here can likely be easy here given how desperate we are for more staff, it can be a struggle to keep up with things without the right help or knowledge on stuff. Had things been easier here, I would say working at a theater isn't all too bad, but lately, it hardly feels worth working so much physical labor for $11.11 an hour, which I know most people would kill to have that sort of income. Hopefully after I move, I can get a new job elsewhere that won't suddenly up the amount of work I need to do with a tiny pay increase. I know this is all negative, but I speak the truth when I say the theater industry seriously needs to take several steps back and re-evaluate things when Covid is still going on.
But enough about that. Besides my huge load of work, college has been a tad bit busy with me doing projects and I have been getting engrossed in Monster Hunter Rise since it released. I managed to finish about everything Village has to offer and currently working on getting materials from High Rank to advance my weapons/armor. I've been rocking it with the Dual Blades since they're so useful in Village quests. Hub is a different story, but at least I can start earning the better materials I'm going to need to farm for the better armor sets. So if there is anyone out there that does want to help me beat Hub content, let me know so we can probably plan a day and play together. I want to play as much of this game as I can before the free title update comes later this month.
With that all being said, that wraps up my update on stuff. Hope everyone had a Happy Easter unlike me and got some good food to eat. I sure as heck know I need to start bettering my own diet here.
