IMVU and FA - some thoughts
Posted 10 years agoIt's very hard to find the right words, not especially because English is not my first language. It's because what happens to FA. And HOW it happens. I feel depressed and I am tongue-tied because of what I read here and there. I ask myself, who can I trust now? If I read other members statements, there's a lot of loss of trust. Nothing is clear, many unanswered questions, and of course I don't trust a company like IMVU.
On the other hand, here are many, many members, from watchers only to great artists. FurAffinity is easy to use. Clearly represented. I really do like FurAffinity. So I don't know what to do now. Maybe I will erase my gallery, too. Maybe not. It depends on what the next days will show. But I am not satisfied with what's going on.
Some people wait for an answer because they sent me a mail. I will answer soon. At the moment I am too confused - I feel knocked out somehow. FurAffinity was... is... a nice part of my online life.
Yours, Arnold Coon

SOPA, PIPA and ACTA Part II
Posted 13 years agoSome things go on... (German only)

But...

Well, the internet was some kind of democratic and free until today. Not perfect and not totally free of course, but very close. A place of global communication. Also a place of illegal downloads and such - we cannot deny. But how far will politicans and business concerns go if they want to stop piracy? When begins censorship or even Big Brother?
Many questions. I don't have all answers.

SOPA and ATCA
Posted 13 years agoTo Furs from Europe and Germany (German text):

It tells about something very similar to this SOPA thing. But ACTA (that's the name) is almost unnoticed by public in Europe. I am a bit worried about such actions.
