Wow long time since I've done one of these. Just a few updates on things and upcoming projects Im excited to start work on once i have the items needed.
Work has been brutal with my new job, 3rd shift hours and i just want to sleep when im done. And being an army spouse tends to take its toll as well. Been keeping me from doing a lot of my hobbies, just trying to keep my home in order is a task. But such is life when i said i do and living in Kentucky for 7 months now. Im happy and wouldn't change it now.
Now on to the epic coolness of costumes and suits!
Nitrogen suit, my angel dragon, ive been wanting a suit of this oc for so long and in the process of saving, gathering materials and making a new dtd to make it a reality.
Setheus the demon hound, he will take longer to make as I'm still trying to figure out what to use for the bones on his body. Suggestions are welcome.
Monster Hunter, Barioth suit, already have some parts gathered, but have to put on hold til i get my boxes from home.

I came across a very interesting fur fabric, scale style, white purple. I want this so much to make something amazing. Was thinking a wolfish-faced dragon, eastern style. A little like Haku from Spirited Away.
This one may be made before everything else, still hashing out the design. Once finished, I want to hold a contest of naming it.

Secret perler project
General | Posted 11 years agoI swear a get more bord by the day since taking on the role of army wife, so I came up with something awesome to do. After my last project it gave me an idea to make another angel dragon. But I'm seriously lacking in some of the colors in my supplies, already ordered them since perlers are one of the cheapest crafting item I've ever gotten.
And once they arrive, only then will I get started on the angel dragon. I won't say who it is, since its a surprise for them and gives me another puzzle to work on.

There is no limit to what design I can do, I like puzzles and making things detailed within a set pattern. These do take a lot of time in one sitting, so depending on the size, they can take hours or days.

Halloween ups and oops
General | Posted 11 years agoWell, the day started out good, making some great treats for Halloween, get together an outfit to wear, continue my other pumpkin carve.
But, it took one simple move I do all the time, been doing pumpkin carves for years and I cut myself really bad on my thumb. Not enough for stiches. It was just really a bloody 1 inch cut, and really fucking hurts.
It was bad enough for Jim to come home and help me since, we didn't have any medical items around. I love my hubby so much, very sweet tough love.
Its taken care of, disinfected it (almost cried that it hurt so bad) its wrapped up and took pain meds.
Still hurts, but this will not ruin my favorite holiday. Bring it on!!
The rest of the night was great, good laughs, cute trick or treaters, watched Tucker and Dale vs Evil (funny as hell movie) ate a good home made meal, meat loaf with mac and cheese. Pain every now and then, but still had fun.

New place, new home, new life

Holy crap! My internet took for damn ever to get reinstalled back up! *growls*
Just what the hell?!
Any who, lots of news and interesting things happened to this fur in my down time of the net T_T...
I'm now a married woman, and were very happy. Its not everyday you get to say you married your best friend. <3
Plus, him being military, I moved with him to our new home in Clarksville, KY. Its a bit of a culture shock to me, being in Washington for so many years. Not to mention the climate, but I'm loving the thunder storms! How I missed them.
But the bigger change is adjusting to military life again, now as a spouse. Where I was a navy kid for all of my little tyke days, I had little understanding of it all. Now, I'm starting to see how important it all is in my position. Its a really BIG step in our new lives together, and I'm looking forward to all those moments, good and bad.
Costume/suit updates
Because of the big move, I do not have any supplies with me, everything will be sent little, by little. Any larger cosplays or suits will have to be put on hold. And here I was hoping to get started on my suit soon or a new armor. Ah well, that's life sometimes.

Packing and getting ready for my big day
General | Posted 11 years agoWell, things around here just feel like chaos. Don't get me wrong, I like chaos every now and then to keep life interesting.
But when it comes to planning for a wedding, getting decorations ready, and packing away my rooms I'm at my wits end here. My mom is being a bit controlling over the wedding, and I've put my foot down and raised my voice to her more than once, to get it through her head, Its my wedding, it will be done my way and they way I planned it out. I take the suggestions that are given to me and mix them in if I can see it working with the theme.
She complains that she's the only one doing the work, which is the biggest load of crap I've heard, if anyone has seen the perler art I've been posting, all of that is in the wedding as the decorations to fit the Gamer theme.
After the wedding day, I'll be packed to move to a new state with my husband, Kentucky, I visited there recently for a few days, biggest culture shock for me. I only know very few people there and I will admit, I am nervous. Its the start of a new life and new experiences, I just hope that state is ready for this crazy, epic person!
So if anyone lives out there, would love to make new friends

Big news for this fur!
General | Posted 11 years agoK, as pointed out several times that I need to post this, I've just been so busy preparing and running around gathering things, packing items up, or going through appointments, that it has slipped my mind more than once.
The biggest news, I'm getting married!! I love this man with all my heart, and he loves my costuming, artsy, craziness.

Going to Dragons Live

I'm going to the How to Train your Dragon, Live. I've been waiting for this day for most of the year now and its finally here!
This is a b-day gift to myself and as an added bonus my boyfriend is coming too. All that time of waiting and making the special badges. I'm just so happy!! :D
The rest of my family went to Levenworth (not the prison!!!) today, my mom was kinda pissed that I wasn't going. But I told her months in advance that I was going to this once and maybe the only time I'll ever get to see this show. She completely understood (thanks mom ^^)
I will post pics and make a video, just only a few more hours to go!

Roari Art Commissions

Its something I've been wanting to do for sometime now, but I waited till my art skills were up to my standards. And my standards are the fact I like to draw family friendly pics, if its two persons cuddling its fine. But I will not draw sex themed art
As a major rule: I hand draw everything, and use colored pencils. So as an artist, I have a lot of pride in what I do. I sell original works and if you plan on buying one that isn't laminated, you must agree not to alter or draw anything on the picture. It takes way too much time and effort to make these drawings.
So this is what I'd like to do. Since I'm new at this, I won't charge that much.
I can take 7 to 8 commissions per week, depending on which ones they are. Others will be put on a waiting list.
I am in collede too, so please don't get angry with if you don't get your art right away
