I'm pondering doing some cosplay stuff....including possibly re-building my automail arm (Fullmetal Alchemist)....I still have the hand, but the rest was complete garbage....I need to build it smaller and tighter to my own arm so it can actually be worm under clothing....X_x

1.) What's the name of your character?
Frankie B. Wikifoo (Frankie Wikifoo is also my SL name). The B stands for Booyaa.....yeah, I'm retarded like that. Her first name is sort of inspired by the Tim Burton movie 'Frankenweenie'...the main character is a bull terrier named sparky...so, 'Frankie' kind of came out of that. hurp
2.) Tell us about your character.
Half spotted hyena, half english bull terrier (sometimes part shark too)...short, pudgy, androgynous, and kind of retarded sometimes. Though, she's smarter than she acts.
3.) How did you make your character up?
I love bull terriers and I love hyenas...and I had started to create a bull terrier character...one thing lead to another and Frankie was made. She's kind of based on me. I dunno.
4.) Is it easy drawing your character?
Oh yeah. Especially if you get lazy. Simple shape for the egg-shaped head, derp ears, mohawk, eyebrow dots, and eyes. :B
5.) When did you make your character up?
About a year ago. I think...
6.) What inspiration(s) brought your character to life?
Umm....I dunno. I needed a fursona who was more like ME than Arpegius was. Arpegius was tall, skinny, outgoing, and 'sexy'....Frankie is pretty much the opposite from Arpy...She's short and overweight, not the best with people, and...too awkward to be 'sexy'...also; has terrible fashion sense, but so does Arpy.
7.) Is your character dear to you? If so, how come?
Well, yeah. She's me in furry form. :3
8.) If you were forced to compare your character to another, who would you compare him/her/it to?

Scabbers and Yoshi. Yoshi has been sick since last Sunday...At first we thought it was an upper respiratory thing. But he wasn't showing any of the signs like raspy labored breathing...
Last night I noticed he was especially lethargic, cold, and his tail was turning blue. My step-mom guessed he had congestive heart failure from all the stress of moving from one home to the next.
I went out today, when I left he was just laying there, but still breathing. I left at 2 and got home at 8:40-ish...by then, he was gone. Cold and stiff.
*sigh* At least he isn't suffering. He'll be buried under the peach tree where my dad buried our rescued stray, Stormy.
On the bright side, Scabbers is fine. Active, bright eye'd, and happy. Just gotta convince him that fingers =/= food -_-

Posted 15 years agoRecently I've been on a big werewolf kick. Watched the new wolfman, underworld 3, some cheesey werewolf movies...and found Being Human on BBC America. I rather like the show and the speci effects!

...Its a meme about your own version of werewolves. Because they're mythological, and can pretty much be any version of a human turning into a wolf.
Original cause of "werewolfism":
communicable retrovirus that literally re-writes the host's DNA.
How can one become a werewolf?:
obviously by being bitten, but also through contact with body fluids. Ex: werewolf blood gets in an open wound, your eye, or mouth. Or you have unprotected sex with a werewolf.(these ways aren't as 100% as a bite. More like a 50% chance of infection.)
A born-werewolf can only have been fathered by a werewolf. Female werewolves very rarely carry a baby to term, since the transformations put so much stress on her body. Its Very rare, but two werewolves can bear a child.
Lifespan:
On average, a newly bitten wolf won't last more than one or two moon cycles. If they make it past that and learn to cope with the condition, they can live well past 100 years.
mortality:
Semi-mortal. They can live much longer than a human and can take a lot of damage before they die. Silver isn't an instant kill, it just causes a severe allergic reaction that can be fatal. (like a bee sting for someone allergic to them)
Intellegence/self control:
Control over the wolf form takes years to master, and even then, one can lose control when under stress. A werewolf in its wolf form is surprisingly cunning. Not quite intelegent by human standards, but they are quick learners and are always aware of their surroundings.
Height:
anywhere from 6 inches to a foot taller than their human form, depending on their build.
Fur colors (wolf colors or human hair colors?):
Natural wolf colors mixed with muted tones of the human's hair color.
Main killing weapon....teeth or claws?:
Teeth, of course, but will use hand-claws and powerful arms like a bear to knock down prey.
Preferred food:
Anything that can be considered 'meat' or that smells like it. (beef flavored dog food sometimes works.)
Run on all fours or two?:
Four when in a flat-out run or when following a scent. Two for walking and for running short distances.

Re-living my childhood - Dinosaurs
Posted 15 years agoSo, seeing as I have a free Netflix sub, I rented the series Dinosaurs...
I wasn't expecting the series to still be relevant, but it is. The subjects they go over, in a subtle and not so subtle way, are still very real even 19 years later.
Now that I'm old enough to actually understand the messages, I feel the series means even more to me now. While, before, it was just a funny show with dinosaurs, now its a funny dinosaur show with a message.
I only wish Disney hadn't pulled the plug on it...but it at least ended before it got stale.
I wish shows were still as well written and had so much effort put into them still. Sitcoms today are about dumb humor and not offending anybody....and kid shows don't teach any kind of message anymore...
I miss when TV didn't suck.
Also: because I'm such a furfaggot, I have a crush on Robbie...which is so wrong....damn you rule 34!
