I'm sorry I haven't posted anything for a long time. There were a lot of things happened in the past few years. Some were great, some weren't. And to be honest there were few things that made me reluctant to go back here but that's in the past. But it's really the job that keeps me really busy in my life.

“Where’s the porn!?” That’s what some people are complaining about. I’ve got a lot of ideas for my next pics but I can’t ignore my other priorities, like my new portfolio (not the smut one but the portfolio that will help me to get a job). I should’ve finished it like a month ago but because of my bad time management, now I’m in panic mode :P. I don’t know when I’ll have time to draw my next pic but in the meantime, please enjoy my horse :D. With that aside, I have some items to address.

Commission Works

As for commissions, I’m almost done with my last commission (I’m almost done with Jeanette, Doc :D). But once that finished, it doesn’t mean I’m fully open for commission works. I can only accept commission works for sketches and B&W drawings for now (assuming they’re not complicated). The reason for this is that colored version usually takes very long time to finish and since my focus now is on the portfolio, I have to put all the commission works on the bottom of my priority list.

Art Trades

For those who are interested, I’m open for trades but please understand that I can’t finish it as soon as possible. What I’d do is to have the sketches/line arts done first, then the colored version later.

First of all, sorry for the long absent. A lot of things have been happening in my life in these past months (with work, school, family, etc). I don't think I got rid of all the mess but I'm working on it.

Anyway, I'm in middle of coloring my lizard guy and I need some help in reference pictures of reptiles/lizards. I've gathered a lot of pictures of real reptiles and dinosaurs but now I'm looking for the artistic ones. Hahaha, I guess you all know the drill. I say I'm sorry I haven't updated my page for awhile then I upload one or two new pictures then disappear for weeks. But I have a lot of things to tell and I have a lot of things that I want to do. I just wish I have more time. So...let's get to the point.

Update on the commissions: I'm afraid after this I won't accept anymore commissions (don't worry, this won't effect to people who already ask for commission but after you guys I don't think I'll be accept any for awhile). The reason for this is that I'm working full-time now and everyday I only have 3 hours to recoup myself from work (and to do naughty things XD). But after my project is done, I'll have free time to draw and maybe accept some commissions.

Also, I am planning to self-publish my first portfolio. It's 20-page booklet full of my 2D and 3D artworks on glossy paper (I may have some options if you don't wanna pay for full price). The only downside is that I have to tone down the smuttiness because I'm going to have it print at printing house (unless I have my own laser printer). I'll show some samples that I did for my work portfolio later.

Sorry I haven’t shown any activity around here for awhile. A lot of things have happened in these past few weeks, from work to family matters (I even think I had nervous breakdown before). But, everything seems to work out fine and I feel more focused now.

Do you consider me as a furry artist or just some regular artist (fantasy artist) who likes to draw smuts sometimes? My "normal" friends always make fun of me for drawing sexy furries but somehow I feel my works look "tame" compared to others' works. I don't know if it's my art style or something else but that's how I feel now.

In case you haven't noticed it, I made new logo. You can see it on the top corner of the last pic. I'm gonna use my Silent Fox logo for my other professional works (my clean works). But I'm still tweaking the new logo so that's not the final version.

I think I�ll be absent for awhile, at least until the whole shenanigan recedes because every page I go and every journal I read, it�s nothing other than people�s disappointment over the decision. Well, it�s not like people will start advertising the website because of the decision, �Hey everybody, come and check Fur Affinity. They�re promoting cub porn now. All freaks are allowed.� (I�m not giving out any idea here, okay?) I know I can just stop looking at people�s journal and the message board but I need to know who�s leaving. It�s really depressing really (at least for me).

Another reason for my absence is because I have to focus more on my important stuffs, like my portfolio (argh, they ask too much) and my work as teaching assistant. Becoming TA is cool by the way but I still need full-time job.

Also, after this, I think I�ll start focusing on the trades and commissions again. I�m sorry if it takes so long for me to finish them because I really couldn�t find the time to do them and I wasn�t confident enough with my own style. But none of them is my concern now so there�s no reason for me to hold them back. Well, that�s it from me.

Wippie! I've finally got me self FFXII. Well, actually I could careless about the game because I only want the art gallery. Besides, I still need to finish Okami, which is really a fun game. But nothing beats the cuteness of Fran though ^_^.
