6. What do you do in your spare time?
I play World of Warcraft a lot, watch Anime or Tokusatsu, cook, bake, and once upon a time I did some art, but alas, I have a huge art block.

8. What's one thing you like about yourself?
I go out of my way to make my friends and loved ones happy, I think that's pretty neat.
9. Alright, now what about something you dislike about yourself?
Well, I was recently diagnosed with Diabetes, so that's the biggest thing, though I'm learning to get used to it. Otherwise, my weight.
10. What's some things your friends noticed about you when they first met you?
I dunno. That I'm a little awkward to talk to at first? I'd ask them, not me X3;
11. Of what faith/religion are you (if any at all?)
Technically Roman Catholic, but I'm not really religious overall.
12. Do you drink?
It's a little rare-er for me to drink now a days, and I don't know if I will ever again because of the medications I'm on with the diabetes. So, on special occasions, but that's it.
13. Do you smoke?
No, it's disgusting. Both kinds. Ew.
14. What are your fears?
Being alone in the dark in an unfamiliar environment, and heights.
15. What are your dreams/goals?
Right now, it would be to get a full time job and save up some money. Otherwise, I would like to travel more, and see more of the world. Open my own little bakery, or at this point, a diabetic friendly store.
16 .Ever had any crushes/ex's in the past/present?
Of course. Both. In both the past and present.
17. Who's your best bud?
Honestly, I don't think I could pin it down to one specific person at the moment. I have a lot of close friends and I don't think I could single out one of them.
18. Alright, you got the cravin' for munchies, what'cha reachin' for?
Erf. Well, it used to be sweet things, ice cream, candy, chocolate...but I can't really have those regularly anymore. The no sugar added Jell-o Puddings are really freekin' good, so I guess those.
19. Favorite drink?
Cherry Sodas, but we can't get them around here. I'm honestly thinking of going to the States some point soon just to make a run to get some fun snacks and diet or zero versions of cherry sodas.

Pink

Right now it's HOP.

Seafood. In general. Crab is OK, but I'm still not sure if I liked it because we were on vacation and eating in a place where it would have been fresh caught, or just cause I generally liked it. *shrug*

Double Cheese Burger with Ketchup, Mustard and Pickles, fries, cherry coke, and a big bowl of mint ice cream for dessert.

I drive a '02 Neon, but I would adore a VW Beetle in Bubblegum Pink or Yellow.

27. Most hated pet peeves?
Not being ready on time. I think this is the absolute worst thing EVER. If it's something like, your ready, but you got caught up in unexpected traffic, that's fine. But like, if I'm going to say to a friend "OK, I'll come and pick you up around 1:00." and they say OK, then I would hope they are actually ready for that time. I mean, I'll be sure I'm showered, dressed and ready to leave with enough time to get there shortly before or after the time agreed upon. Most of the time I get to -one- friends house, she is NEVER ready and we end up waiting an extra 1/2 hour to an hour while she pitters around getting stuff ready. ARG.
28. Dislike in life?
Abuse in general.
29. Most annoying?
People who can't seem to control their children. If they are running around like hooligans, round them up and leave, or have someone watch them while your out. If they are crying and screaming and making a fit, LEAVE THE AREA. No one wants to hear your child freaking the fuck out.
30. Most disliked TV show?
Don't like sports, so that, and otherwise...some of the more stupid "reality" shows.

1. Do you sleep naked? I have, but I prefer just a t-shirt.
2. Do you sleep with socks on? My feet are boiling hot normally, so no.
3. Would you rather sleep alone or with someone else? This one is tough. I like room to move and if the person I'm in bed with makes noise it keeps me up, but I like the feeling of someone else there XD So, both?
4. Do you enjoy drama? No, it drives me kinda crazy.

My Valentines Day
Posted 13 years agoWell, I had planned to hang out with a friend, and while he and I played WoW I would chatter with my loved ones on IMs and whatnot. Called my friend up, and he's sick. OK, feel better. I'll make some cookies then chatter online. Go out, swing by my work (Dollar store for those who don't know) and got a plastic mixing bowl and some parchment paper. On my way to the bulk food store I stop at a yellow light as it gets ready to turn red.
Next thing I know, I see red my my rear view mirror and I'm half way into the intersection. I turned on my four ways and went to go see what happened. My car is visibly fine, the rear bumper and pistons may be damaged, but I have no way of knowing this till I take it to a shop within the next few days. The person who hit me, woo...their car was DONE. Completely totaled. I go to the driver side to make sure everyone is OK. The driver is a young woman, my age or slightly younger (I'm 27, I'd guess she was maybe 24 or so). She's freaking out. She says she's fine but hands me her baby and starts to panic and look for her phone. The Baby was fine before being handed to me, and he's starting to cry. So here I am in the middle of a busy road, just after a car cash, with a baby in my arms. Yeah. Awesome.
She asked me a few times if he was OK. Baby was fine, just shook up. Nothing wrong but a little scare. He quieted down after a few minutes. He was pretty calm for the whole thing, honestly. A man, who told me later he was four cars down and was shocked no one else stopped, stopped to check and see if we were OK then called the po-po for us.
Police arrive, get all the info from me, the other guy and the woman with the baby. Ambulance checks them out (I'm completely fine, I was just shaken up). After a while the three of us wrote statements and whatnot and waited for the officer to complete his paper work. As he gave me a copy of the incident report, he told me that I wasn't at fault (which I knew, but it makes it 100% better hearing it from someone with authority) and to drive safe home.
Once I got home, the shock wore off, I had a bit of a break down because it could honestly have been so much worse for me or them. I'm fine if a little sore and very tired, and grateful to still be alive and spend the rest of the day with friends and family. Sadly, this is not the kinda pain in the rear I had hoped for today.

My friends Missa and Laurie both gave birth to beautiful babies this year.

Not close, but there was a death in the family.
5. What countries did you visit?
None, but I did visit my Nation's Capital (Otterwah!)
6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
An grasp on digital art.
7. What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
January 20th and March 15th. The rebirth and then death of a wonderful friendship.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Making lots of new friends and keeping up with them.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Spending too much on trivial things.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I got sick a few times, yes, but the worst thing to happen would probably be the oil burn on my left hand. It's healed, but the skin there is darker then the rest of the area around it.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My trip to Ottawa, I think.

I don't think anyone gets a mention here, honestly. Most of the people I regularly chat with are pretty good. There are a few things that rather bugged me, but those aren't up for discussion here.

Living expenses and random crap. You'd be surprised how much money goes back into the dollar store when you work there.

Things About Me:
1. I'm Canadian, and no it's not constantly snowing, nor do we live in igloos. I would be constantly sad if that were the case.
2. That being said, while my last name is Snowpaw, it only refers that I'm an Arctic Fox, I however in no way like the cold, snow or winter.
3. I've been in the Fandom for 10 years now. Started when I was 17 and now I'm 27. Time sure flies...
4. I really dislike being single, especially now a days when all my friends in RL are starting to get into more serious relationships.
5. That being said, I don't want to rush into anything. I want to be sure that when I do get involved with someone, that it'll be as best it can be.
6. I really need to start drawing more again, I just lack the motivation to get going.
7. Some of you may have noticed that from time to time my sexuality changes on my front page. I'm pretty well set on calling myself gay, though the fact that I -really- get off on gendershifting and tg/tf makes me wonder if I'm Bi sometimes. Now that I've had more time to think on it, I don't think I am, cause normal girls don't do anything for me, I just have a very weird fetish.
8. I'm not as much of a gamer as I used to be. I only get some games from series I really enjoy, and otherwise only play WoW.
9. I'm constantly making an effort to improve my body image and start to at least get healthier.
10. I really like making new friends, and love to chatter,
11. As of late I've been thinking a lot of the past, and I really need to get my head out of there and focus it towards the future. There are a lot of things that I think are holding me back and I need to learn to move on.

1. Why did you choose your fursona?
- Well, being a Sailor Moon fan, and the show being in the height of popularity at the time, and my love of Tails from the Sonic series, I combined the only male character that wasn't Tuxedo Mask (being the cat, Artemis) and Tails and kinda combined them together to get my fursona. And promptly spellt the name wrong. Though in the end I'm glad I did.
2. If you found 1 million dollars and no one was around, what would you do with it?
- Wonder why there was a million dollars laying around for no apparent reason, mostly. Otherwise I would do all I could to find out who it belonged to and return it. If it didn't have an owner after that, I'de pay off bills, get the car I've always wanted, get some home repair and renovations done and then take a few trips to see friends and just relax.
3. If you could go back in time and change one thing, what would it be?
- There are too many points to really pick one, to be honest. I guess it would have to be the last serious relationship I was in. I don't think I tired at all hard enough to improve things when they got to a head.
4. What is the most difficult thing you have ever done?
- I'm going to say that it was back when I was 13. My Mom was going through her second bleed and now that I was old enough to know what was going on, it was terrible to have to try to go to school and act like things were normal when she was so far away and eventually had a high chance of not making it though. It was the most difficult part of my life. I don't think anything else really compares right now.

- Love, Friendship, Trust, Family, Job, Computer, Internet Access, Home, Car, All other possessions X3;
6. If you could have any super power imaginable, what would it be?
- To have magic just like my character, honestly. If that's not applicable, then I'de have to say like my X-Men Character, Spectrum, I'de want to have illusion powers, be able to bend light and make rainbows, colour changing eyes and hair would also be awesome~

- Bowling, I suppose.

- I'm pretty laid back and try to be friendly and easily approachable, and that's what I look for in others.

Decided to play around a bit with my Kit Fox toy, and well, it turned into a bit of a challenge. At the end I was victorious, taking the knot of the toy for the first time X3 Kinda painful, but I assume with time that will go away, but that oh so full feeling was awesome <3 Just thought I'd share~

Furnal Equinox Con Report!
Posted 14 years agoSo, as some people may know, I went to Year 2 of Furnal Equinox this past weekend. Overall, it was pretty nice, though I feel that this year I didn't really *do* much at the con. The main problem I had with the con this year was that the panels that I wanted to attend happened at 10 am on Friday before I even got there, and then at 4 - 6 pm today, when I had to be home. Nothing else seemed to grab my attention that much. Video Game room was cool. Met a few people (although briefly) and got to say Hi and chat a bit with friends I saw at the con, so it was nice overall. Here's a bit of a breakdown for those interested.
DAY 1 (Friday, March 11th 2011)
Got up, showered and made a final check of everything. Put my stuff in the car and then drove to Burlington to pick up Ayres from her place. We went to see her mate at his work, then to her work to get some supplies. From there we were off to the con. Got there and checked into our room. The hotel gave us fresh, warm cookies on check in. I was floored. And they were SO good. From there we got our room keys and then took 3 trips back and forth to the room with our stuff because they didn't have any luggage carts.
We chilled in the room for a few and got set up, then wondered down to the con space. We sat and mingled a bit and then went to Opening Ceremonies. From there we decided to get food at the Japanese place in the hotel (and right beside the con space) Ginko's. It was a little pricey, but overall it was absolutely divine food. Ayres and I shared Gyoza and Yakitori, and she got some sushi and rice and I got some beef teriyaki type dish. After that we got out Apples to Apples and played with a few of the people we met last year. Got back to the room, had some snacks and went to bed.
DAY 2 (Saturday, March 12th 2011)
Got up, showered, and went to check out some stuff around the con. Got some stuff from the dealers den (some Prints from Zen, who's a very nice guy. Nice to meet you!) and then some gaming. Went with Ayres to the pool. Very nice hot tubs and pool, even if the chlorination was a little strong. We showered again and then wandered around a bit, waiting for Ayres' mate to meet us there. He got there by 9ish and we went out and had some food. Jack Asstors. Good food and reasonable prices. Got home and I laid down and rested while the other two went to look for a room party because I had a hell of a headache.
DAY 3 (Today, Sunday, March 13th 2011)
Got up and took a look over everything and said Hi's and Byes to those I had run into again before I left. Got some more Zen Prints (naughty ones this time) and then we got some lunch at Harvey's, drove Ayres and Alfer home, then came home myself.
Didn't do any fursuiting due to not feeling well on Saturday, otherwise I would have done some and actually been in the parade. I dunno, it seems I' get sick at the wrong times when it comes to it. But I did have fun and will look forward to next year, hopefully with a few more friends to share the fun with! Hope everyone else had fun and for those I met this year reading this, don't be shy, feel free to drop me a line on messengers, comments or notes!
