Hey FA,

I know I don't use this site much. I feel bad. This is a great community and a great way to reach out and meet artists and furs and whatnot. I don't know how many people actually follow me, but here's a big update!

I now live in Connecticut. Starting classes at University of Connecticut in Storrs in 4 days. I'm studying Puppet Arts at one of the most prestigious schools for said major! I'm super excited, and I know I'm going to love it and succeed. I'll be posting a lot of my projects here, so keep a lookout for that.

Also, I've been in a very happy and loving relationship with a very special snow leopard  Verti. He is wonderful, and makes me smile when I am down. We've had a blast over the past year, and I know there will be many more to come.

I'm also in the process of creating another fursona, so keep an eye out for that!

Lastly, I'm probably going to be redoing this account; slight name change, a better place to put art and scraps and whatnot. The times, they are a-changing, and I need to change right along with them. I'll rewatch everyone on my list, and I hope you all will do the same!

Hey everyone.

I've had a Bamboo Tablet for over a year, and I really haven't done much with it. I'm kinda scare and intimidated by it. So I'm wondering if anyone knows of a good tutorial/lesson kind of thing to learn digital art? Also, I'm going to puppetry school, and I feel it would be beneficial to learn how draw more proficiently with a tablet.

My biggest problem right now is my mind's the disconnect between my hand moving on the tablet and my eyes watching it appear on the screen. Traditional pencil/paper art is so ingrained in me that I have trouble just drawing with a tablet.

Any advice/help would be much appreciated!

Hi everybody.

I'm here today to tell you that seat belts and air bags WILL save your life when the time comes. That's experience talking. I was in a pretty severe car collision this morning, and only suffered minor scrapes, cuts, and bruises because I was wearing my seat belt and my airbags were in working order.

So please, always wear your seat belt when in a vehicle, and make sure your airbags work. If you don't, I will find you and hurt you.

So it's been incredibly long since I last posted a journal. Lots of reasons, including:

Severe sickness
I'm in the rehearsal process for a show
Work has been kicking my ass
And a few other reasons

So I'm trying to get back on track with furryness and art, and the fandom and whatnot. 'Cause there are a few of you that I need to make things for. Sorry for the delay.

Also, if anyone has any recommendations on really good digital art tutorials, they would be much appriciated! My digital art sucks (because I'm so new at it), and I don't want to upload any of it until it looks better.

Anyways, hope you all are doing well and staying sickness free!

So, after much research and discussion with friends, I have ordered a Wacom Bamboo Create graphic arts tablet. It should arrive some time next week, and I'm super excited to learn how to create digital art! Just thought I'd share this with all of you!

I usually go for traditional pencil and paper sketching, but as I have been browsing the FA galleries the past week or so, I am wanting to get more and more into digital art. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what software I should get, and/or what tablet to use?
