I've learnt ALOT from this first experience. Working to a deadline and to someone else's expectations is quite nerve-racking.

Does it get easier over time?

Ever since I built my first fursuit head I've been pestered to do commissions. I've been reluctant because I wasn't sure I could pull it off again and would only be a one-trick-pony. But now several months have passed and I've almost forgotten the turmoil and anguish of fursuit construction so I'm ready for another crack of the whip.

So! I've saddled myself with a commission from who, I and others are sure to feel, is perhaps one of the highest profile Equine furs in the UK and are hoping to début at Eurofurence this year.

I may post progress pics in my scraps, but they'll be removed and a collage like the previous head had in it's replacement when done.

Got any suggestions/tips?

I dunno what to do... I love looking at her creations, My partner  bezel has one of her suits and it's FANTASTIC. But geeze, every time I log into FA there's yet another rant or a moan or a bitching or something just so ridiculously negative from her journal I wonder how she gets through life without burning her house down or something. I'm waiting for the "i R leevin teh intarnets 4evarz!!" post to inevitably come.

I think FA should have a option when you +watch someone to see what you actually wanna watch.
You wanna just see the submissions?
You wanna just see PG material?
you wanna see just the journal posts?
... you get the idea.

Well, as you may have seen from recent photos posted to my FA account I went through with my threat and went ahead and built the fursuit partial and I'm fairly happy with the results and have gotten some FANTASTIC comments here, Cf2010 and at LondonFurs meets.
I've even been asked to do commissions and suggested to make a bodysuit which I'll explore at a later date.
I have another fursuit head project in the making and I'll try and post here more often if there's any interest in seeing a Deer made by me. There's also a black horse fursuit needed to be built too.

Didn't take me suit (as seen in the scraps section of my FA) again... been months since I've worn it. To be honest, I think I'll sell it, any realistic offers?

Buuuut.... I'm going to get to work on making my own. The only thing that really holds me back is my stupidly high expectations and standards. The project might fail. I'll let you know if it's going well. It's it's looking like crap, this'll be the last you hear of it. ;)

Some of you know I do the whole music thingy now and then. I even threaten to release stuff, too!

Went to London today and even took my fursuit (partial).
Although the tail broke whilst running after a giant tennis-ball I still had a FANTASTIC time wandering the streets of london with the other suiters waving to kids and random members of the public taking their photos with me.

I'll get my tail fixed and DEFINATELY be at the next on on the 25th of July.
