I know it's been a long time since I last updated something on this gallery, but this time I'm bringing really good news related to Art and Biro.
Art and Biro Comic in physical book may be something real!!
I'm launching a Kickstarter campaign, where I'm not only offering you a copy of the book, but also shiny rewards like including your name on the credit of the book, all copies will be signed, and I'll be offering stickers, enamel pins and t-shirts that will be exclusive for the Kickstarter campaign.
Also I have some STRETCH GOALS for this project.
If we reach more than 125,000 mexican pesos (around $6,200 usd), the comic can be printed as a hardcover book.
If we reach more than 170,000 mexican pesos (around $8,400 usd), I'll print a second edition in Spanish (its original language)
All the funds will be used for printing and improving the books, I'm not considering a profit. My own reward is seeing this comic project printed as a beautiful book

BLFC / Art & Biro comic updates/ Anthrocon (ENG / ESP)

I finally recovered my account Artbiro in FurAffinity !!!
It was a big problem, first I couldn't remember what was the e-mail account that I registered, when I found out, I didn't received the verification code. So I sent an email, which never answered until today. And then they asked my birth date, which can't remember what date I put into this account. But finally we're here again, and with a new page!
Again there are many issues that I want to talk, so if you're not interested in some, it will divide into 4 chapters, so you can skip those which you're not interested (2 of the 4 chapters are about the Art & Biro comic, hehe)
BLFC'16
Biggest Little Fur Con 2016. 2016 Reno, Nevada.
It's not that other conventions I have attended are not awesome, each has been great, fun, and a different exciting experience every time, but definitely the coolest I've attended so far has been BLFC'16.
Many emotions, a lot of new experiences, I met many friends, each of them very cool. It is very difficult to describe this convention, as has been the coolest thing I've experienced so far.
I was very afraid of this convention some days beforeit, is not the first time I travel alone to the United States, it's the second time (the first was last December, to Chicago, to the MFF). But it was the first time I got to the airport and I had to do everything on my own, from arriving at the hotel and spend a day alone in a stranger country where everyone speaks a language that is not mine (and fortunately, I know, but not dominate, but I can survive).
It would be extremely long to tell each of my experiences in Reno, I think I would have to write a whole bible for it, and as the pictures tell a thousand words, I leave a folder where you can see them:

The best guys I could have gathered at the event, who became my family for a weekend. To make me want to cry for happiness, remembering all those moments. I hope such an experience can be repeated again, and we never forget it.
Thanks to all who aproach to greet me in the artists' alley, those who bought stickers and / or prints, and also the 7 guys who asked me for a sketch. And to all the artists with whom I sat nerdly to draw with them, that was another amazing experience, to share those moments with you as we drew and talk.
I will surely come back to Reno in 2017.

Art and Biro: donation.
Many who have followed this web comics have written me asking when I'd upload a new page. Just yesterday I got the number 24, and I'm sure will go up next month to the 25th.
It has been a very slow process, much more than I imagined at the beginning when I first started the comic. (My innocent illusion was that same year, 2014, ended the first volume of the comic, heh!)
The comic will always be free to read, anyone can read it without paying a single dollar, but if you are interested to support monetarily to not only continue the project (and never stop it), but can go much faster, may be a web page for this, and in the future I can print it in physical form. You can do so by donating monthly amount that you want in Patreon, from $ 1:

Anthrocon
And last but not least, I mention that I'll be in the next edition of the Anthrocon 2016, in Pittsburgh, United States.
I'll repeat this when the date gets closer, which will be from June 30th to July 3rd.
There will be original (and unpublished) works on display at the Art Show, which will be sold in auction mode. From now I have just 2 pieces ready, I think I can take only 3 or 4.
I will also be in the artists' alley, but beware: only on Fridays 1st and Sunday 3rd. If you want to ask me for badges commissions and pick them up on my desk, there are a time to do it, so write me! (Only for those who are attending the Anthrocon).
I'll be doing sketches, each day I will accept just 8 commissions, so I have a list to receive a maximum of 16 commissions (for both days), so if you'll go and are interested, arrive early from Friday. I can't take slots from Internet.
On Saturday I will be in fursuit, because I want to be in the fursuit parade. (For those who can not attend and watch the live streams out, there will find me hopping around and being happy).
And above all, be kind, I love when people wants to say hello, to receive hugs (when I'm on fursuit), as the same I get excited just to see one person I know in real live or an artist I admire. But there are ways to do it. Don't be creepers, analyze your behavior when trying to talk to someone, some people ends up scary or come to nag, and the artist ends up not wanting to hear from you.
Those who know me know I'm friendly, a little shy, but I like to meet new people; Please always be very respectful, I wouldn't want to change my attitude for wanting to avoid creepers.

Por fin he recuperado mi cuenta de Artbiro en Furaffinity!!!
Fue todo un problema, primero no podía recordar cuál era el e-mail al que había registrado la cuenta, cuando lo averigüé, no me llegaba el código de verificación. Entonces mandé un correo, el cual nunca me respondieron hasta hoy. Y luego me pedían mi fecha de cumpleaños, la cual no recuerdo qué fecha puse en esta cuenta. Pero al fin aquí ya estamos otra vez, y con nueva página!
Otra vez son muchos temas de los que quiero hablar, así que si no estás interesado en algunos, lo dividiré en 4 capítulos (de los cuales 2 hablarán sobre mi comic Art y Biro)
BLFC'16
Biggest Little Fur Con del 2016. Reno, Nevada.
No es por hacer menores a las otras convenciones a las que he asistido, cada una ha sido grandiosa, divertida, y una experiencia diferente y emocionante cada vez, pero en definitiva la más genial que he vivido hasta ahora ha sido BLFC'16.
Muchas emociones, muchisimas experiencias nuevas, muchisimos amigos que conocí, cada uno de ellos muy cool. Me es muy difícil poder describir esta convención, pues ha sido de lo más genial que he vivido hasta ahora.
Tenía mucho miedo de esta convención, no es la primera vez que viajo solo a Estados Unidos, ya es la segunda vez (la primera fue en diciembre pasado, a Chicago, para la MFF). Pero sí fue la primera vez que llegué al aeropuerto y yo tenía que ver todo por mi propia cuenta, desde llegar al hotel, y pasar todo un día en solitario en un país extrangero donde todos hablan un idioma que no es el mío (y que afortunadamente, conozco, mas no domino, pero puedo sobrevivir).
Sería extremadamente largo contarles cada una de mis experiencias y vivencias en Reno, creo que tendría que escribir toda una biblia para ello, y como las fotografías cuentan más que mil palabras, les dejo un folder donde pueden verlas:

Los mejores chicos con los que me pude haber juntado en el evento, quienes se volvieron mi familia por un fin de semana. Hasta me dan ganas de llorar al recordar todos esos momentos. Espero una experiencia así se pueda volver a repetir, y que jamás nos olvidemos.
Gracias a todos los que pasaron a saludarme en el artists' alley, los que me compraron stickers y/o prints, y también los 7 chicos que me pidieron un sketch. Y a todos los artistas con los que me sentaba nerdmente a dibujar con ellos, esa fue otra experiencia increíble, poder compartir esos momentos con ustedes mientras dibujabamos y platicabamos.
Seguramente volveré a Reno en 2017.

Muchos de los que han seguido este web cómic, me han escrito que cuándo subo una nueva página. Apenas el día de ayer subí la número 24, y estoy seguro que hasta el próximo mes subiré la número 25.
Ha sido un proceso muy lento, mucho más de lo que me imaginé al principio cuando recién comencé el cómic. (Mi inocente ilusión era que ese mismo año, 2014, terminara el primer tomo del cómic, je!)
El cómic siempre será gratis para leerse, cualquiera podrá leerlo sin pagar un solo dólar, pero si te interesaría apoyar monetariamente para que no solo continúe el proyecto (y nunca lo detenga), sino que pueda avanzar mucho más rápido, pueda existir una página web para éste, y en un futuro pueda imprimirlo en formato físico. Habrá obras originales (e inéditas) en exposición en el Art Show, las cuales estarán a la venta en modo de subasta. Hasta ahora solo tengo 2 listas, pienso que solo podré llevar 3 o 4.
También estaré en el artists' alley, pero ojo: únicamente los días viernes 1 y domingo 3. Si quieren pedirme badges y recogerlas ahí en mi mesa, están a tiempo para hacerlo (Únicamente para los que asistirán a la Anthrocon).
Estaré haciendo bocetos, cada día aceptaré hasta 8 comisiones, por lo que tendré una lista para recibir un máximo de 16 comisiones, así que si van a ir, lleguen temprano desde el día viernes. No me podrán apartar slots desde internet.
El día sábado estaré en fursuit, pues quiero estar en el fursuit parade. (Para quienes no pueden asistir y ven los live streams, por ahí me podrán encontrar saltando y siendo feliz).
Y sobre todo, sean amables, yo con mucho gusto querré saludar a todos los que quieran saludarme, así como cuando yo igual me emociono de ver a una persona que conozco en vivo, o a un artista que admiro. Pero siempre hay formas para hacerlo. No sean creepers, analizen su comportamiento a la hora de querer hablar con alguien, que muchas veces terminan dando mucho miedo o llegan a fastidiar, y el artista termina por no querer saber de ustedes.
Los que me conocen saben que soy muy amable, un poco tímido, pero me gusta conocer gente nueva; sean muy respetuosos siempre, no me gustaría cambiar mi actitud por querer evitar creepers.

Habrá obras originales (e inéditas) en exposición en el Art Show, las cuales estarán a la venta en modo de subasta. Hasta ahora solo tengo 2 listas, pienso que solo podré llevar 3 o 4.
También estaré en el artists' alley, pero ojo: únicamente los días viernes 1 y domingo 3. Si quieren pedirme badges y recogerlas ahí en mi mesa, están a tiempo para hacerlo (Únicamente para los que asistirán a la Anthrocon).
Estaré haciendo bocetos, cada día aceptaré hasta 8 comisiones, por lo que tendré una lista para recibir un máximo de 16 comisiones, así que si van a ir, lleguen temprano desde el día viernes. No me podrán apartar slots desde internet.
El día sábado estaré en fursuit, pues quiero estar en el fursuit parade. (Para quienes no pueden asistir y ven los live streams, por ahí me podrán encontrar saltando y siendo feliz).
Y sobre todo, sean amables, yo con mucho gusto querré saludar a todos los que quieran saludarme, así como cuando yo igual me emociono de ver a una persona que conozco en vivo, o a un artista que admiro. Pero siempre hay formas para hacerlo. No sean creepers, analizen su comportamiento a la hora de querer hablar con alguien, que muchas veces terminan dando mucho miedo o llegan a fastidiar, y el artista termina por no querer saber de ustedes.
Los que me conocen saben que soy muy amable, un poco tímido, pero me gusta conocer gente nueva; sean muy respetuosos siempre, no me gustaría cambiar mi actitud por querer evitar creepers.

El próximo viernes 23 de Octubre estaré en entrevista en el programa de Jose Apolo Santana en Bronies Radio LA, de 22:00 a 0:00 hrs hora del centro (CST).
En el programa, me tragaré mi timidez y hablaré sobre mi corta carrera artística, el cómo llegué al furry fandom, y otros temas curiosos o absurdos. También hablaré de los origenes del comic, de los personajes y sus trasfondos.

Art and Biro don't have social networks
Posted 10 years agoWell, suddenly appears many facebook accounts of fake "Art" and "Biro"s. I knew this would happen, I've seen this on many artist's characters and it is unavoidable.
The problem is some of those guys try to impersonate me, and that's not true.
I don't have accounts on any social network for Art or Biro.
And I recommend to not own any character of any artist as your own fursona, that's not nice. Be creative, to be a furry is to be creative and original, help to support that idea.
