Wanted to get that commission hiatus off, especially since the hiatus is over. Not actively taking slots, but if you want to commission me, we can talk about it :3

Not much to say right now, other than I started a new job, and have been doing a lot of cosplay work :3

I deliberated over this for a long time, and finally came to the decision that for now, I am closing down commissions, and I don't know if or when I will reopen them.

I came to this decision because I have no motivation to finish the pieces I owe, and some of them have been waiting for quite some time. I know I am not going to finish these pieces, so those of you who have already paid me and haven't received it yet, I will be issuing a refund as soon as I can.

My motivation before was a desperate need for money, and now that I am living comfortably, I have no urgency to motivate me to finish the pieces I owe. Things are way better for me now, so I don't really need the extra help anymore.

It's apparently that time of year when I need to arm myself against spiders.

I just had TWO big ones in my room (even if they were just harmless house spiders, they are too big for me to be comfortable with them existing where I can see them) which my room mate doused in Axe. One fell down and got lost among the carpet (hopefully he is dead and not crawling towards my laundry pile). The other crawled back into the wall and is hopefully dying. I have one bitty buddy I let live because he just chills in his corner and is tiny.

SO. I need a recommendation for something I can do to keep spiders out of my room without totally dousing my room in toxic spray if possible. My room has almost no ventilation, so I want to avoid sprays if I can. There are cracks along the place where the wall and ceiling meet (which I plan on caulking soon) and I have a big vent on my ceiling that I don't know if I can cover.

Ideas? If you know any mammal safe sprays, those are ok. If not, I need other ideas.

So I got my tax return, and I am making/have made some exciting purchases :D

I really want to do things that I can't really afford to do for one reason or another. I want to dye my hair crazy colors. I want to say what's on my mind, no matter what it is.
