It's time to return to my first true love. Not the visual arts, no. The written word of fiction. I was, for many years, nonstop writing plot after plot after plot. I miss it so much, weaving stories and commanding the flow of my ideas...or just letting it happen.

I forgot my first passion of many years. This passion was a life saver in many ways down the line. I shall rectify that soon, no doubt.

I WILL create an epic story full of wonder to make me smile and embrace imagination once again.

Gonna dip my toes into learning how to animate in blender very soon! Wish me luck!

Learned how to use the skin modifier (With alot of work) to bring stylized cartooney ideas to life. Still learning, as I said before.

I still need to get a handle on textures and whatnot but so far, so good.

I'm having more and more fun as I progress and the feeling of getting things juuuuust right with effort is unmatched.

I only see up from here! Things are gonna get weird in th ebest way soon!

I don't think you ever STOP learning.

Anyway, Im happy with my progress so far. Having fun learning 'correct' ways, for me atleast, to model/sculp things.

It's awesome! Can't wait to learn color, texture, bones, rigging and animation in the future!

Be on the lookout for more stuff!

Really enjoying learning things in this program, as you can see, in my gallery. Still very far from anything super complex but I'm having a ton of fun just creating simple objects. There's alot to learn but I love that and im excited to see where this all takes me. I watch tutorials on specific things while also using my giant book for quick reference.

It can get tedious or annoying when things mess up...but thats just how learning animation was.

All-in-all, a good start.

I've decided to do a 'refresh' on my gallery. I've decided to focus on my own enjoyment in art and animation before anything else. The views and favorites are nice and all but I need to focus on how I feel about my work first and foremost.
