Important Announcement - My Indefinite FA Hiatus - CLOSED

HAPPY NEW YEAR (over two weeks in XD) I'm sorry for the delays I've been facing as of late last year, I'll spare everyone the boring, unneccesary details, but man things have been kind of crazy and all overthe place!
Really, I'm making this entry to announce that, for many reasons, I'll be going on an FA Hiatus of sorts. After these final rounds of commissions, my Iron Artist, and my other FA-based commissions will be closed. More than likely, my FA account will turn back into just a gallery for my furry arts, but I'm hoping that it may also becore a platform where I'll sell adoptables and run original character autions, but that will be down the road.
I do hope you'll all understand, and I want to thank everyone who's commissioned me here on FA, and everyone who has been so kind, supportive and patiently awaiting my work :) You guys are fantastic!
Before I leave, without a doubt I will be completing all the commissions I have left;

Thank you everyone who's left me comments and notes expressing their concern, you're all so sweet. Just to clarify... I don't want anyone to worry about me. :)
If you read through my entry again, I said that my "FA-based" commissions will be closing, meaning, I'll be accepting commissions, just not here on FA (or anywhere else actually, I'll soon be taking commissions exclusively from my website) nor will it be the types of commissions I offered on FA (No icons, no comics, Iron Artists and such... at least for now)
Plus, after a little break, I'll still stop by occasionally and post new furry-relevant art to my account... so I'm certainly not leaving FA forever. :)
The key word here is "Indefinite" which does not mean forever. Here is the definition of "Indefinite"
1.Lasting for an unknown length of time: "indefinite detention".
2.Not clearly expressed or defined; vague: "their status remains indefinite".

Giving it some thought, I've noticed that those who have commissioned comics from me generally order more than one, so I thought I might offer a package deal for 3 and 5 page comics, featuring bonus gifts and a 10% discount off of standard comic page prices.
This also gives you the opportunity to quickly snag multiple comic pages, as I will only open general comic commissions at a small handful of single page slots at a time!
There is NO additional fee for adult theme/heavy fetish, and commissions can include light background work. The coloring style will be 'semi-flat' having just some light shading detail.

Finally back!

I'm back from my birthday vacation. That vacation was just what I needed. Took a tad longer than expected, been busy setting up and transering programs and files to my new laptop (Yayy!! ♥) but I think I'm finally set to get back to work :D

Just writing a journal to announce that I'll be away for about a week or so, starting July 12th. I'll be taking a little birthday holiday, and I'll be away from my computer, so my commission work will be on pause until I return.
Hmm, I think this is timing out nicely, I've been a bit out of sorts for a few months, I think a small break will be good, and hopefully I'll be back on track with my normal turnaround time.

Please Read - Big Changes Concerning my Comic Commissions
Posted 14 years agoWhen I began my Iron Artist Challenge, I envisioned myself drawing lots of pinups as well as some occasional porn, and that was it. I honestly hadn't given comic strips a single thought, nor did I think they would gain the attention/popularity that they have, even receiving requests for larger comic commissions.
While I genuinely love drawing these comic strips, I must be honest and admit that they require much more time, thought and effort to produce. So I've reached a point where I believe a change is appropriate. I hope that you will be understanding of my decision.
- From here forth, I will accepting comic strip commissions in a separate category all it's own, and I will be accepting comic PAGE commissions also. I will no long be accepting comic strip commissions as part of my Iron artist challenge. My Iron Artist challenge was intended for pics that I could produce somewhat quickly, and sadly comics don't fit that criteria.
- These comic commissions will come at a different price, and yes, they will be more costly. In my Iron artist challenge, a portrait of 3 characters would cost $20... and a 4-panel comic of 3 characters would cost... $20. I can't continue to charge the same low price for something that requires triple the time and effort.
IMPORTANT: Please note that everyone that is currently holding a slot, you pay the price that was agreed upon when you signed up. The prices I'm about to list will apply to sign ups from here forward.

As you know, I'm sending in the donations to American Red Cross in two collectives. The first at the end of March, the second at the end of April. As today is March 31st, I've just sent in the first donation collective, which totaled at $140!

Posted 14 years agoAs you may have noticed from a recent galley submission, I will be accepting commissions for Avatars from (what was then March 13th, when I originally posted) to April 30th, at the very least. I'm posting this journal to provide a little more information.
I'll be offering a special Japan Donation Avatar set with red and white color scheme. All proceeds will be donated to the American Red Cross, or possibly another valid charity of the commissioners choosing, so long as it aids the Earthquake and Tsunami victims.
Furthermore, as of today, I've decided I will open up for standard avatars as well, and all proceeds from those will also be donated.
Donations will be made it two collectives. The first on March 31st, and the second on April 30th (or whenever the funds of all who have signed up have been collected.)

Just wanted to let you all know that I, along with nine other artists, am taking part in the SportyPup Charity Auction, where all proceeds will go to SportyPup's medical bill.
I'll be offering ONE single character full-body digital pin-up.

As of January 11th 2011, I've decided to take part in the Iron Artist Challenge and opening up 100 slots for full color sketch commissions. :)

\\ Pricing //
- 1 to 3 Characters
- Starting price: $10 (one character)
- Additional Characters: $5 each
- Adult/Heavy Fetish: Additional $10
\\ Commission Details //
- Three character MAX
- Turnaround is typically 3 days, but may vary depending on the content.
- There are NO progress samples for Iron Artist commissions, but I will correct minor errors upon request.
- Plain backgrounds, Typically color gradients/abstract shapes. Some exceptions can be made, but nothing extreme in detail.
- NO comic strips or Icons in the Iron Artist Challenge as of May 26th
- Size of the finished commission is 7 inches on the longest side.

- Paypal only.
- Prefered that payments are made upfront
- Full refunds only in the event that I am unable to complete your commission.

I've just posted a new art auction on Furbuy. The auction is for a female/shemale character pinup, and it will be running for the next week. If you're interested, then please have a look here! :)
Also, I'm looking to gain more experience in drawing different species. Soo, I thought it might be fun to have a little free commission giveaway in which the first three people to post a reply to this journal entry will receive a colored sketch of the character of their choosing. (any gender) :D
(The colored sketch will be a standard single character pinup, no extreme themes and such... nudity is more than welcome though)

I'd like to know how high the interest of ball-jointed doll are in the furry community. There are a lot of anthropomorphic ball-jointed doll, cats, dogs, otters, squirrels, etc.
I've been kicking around a few concept sketches and planning to sculpt my own. Is a ball-jointed furry doll something that appeals to anyone here? I'd love to hear what you think.
