So, this is probably just a personal issue with me, I'm sure others don't have this issue and some might.

But I hate Pokemon OCs. When it comes to making Pokemon content, I feel like instead of using some OC that is an odd colour that is neither the base or shiny palette, it's just a waste and whatever art done would stand to be instantly better with the original pokemon, personality aside. When it comes to artists and their own OC, I don't say anything because an artist has every right to draw their own characters, regardless. My main issue is with those who seem to have infinite money to commission their Pokemon OC in everything they pay for because, having an original idea that doesn't involve them is impossible for some reason. But I'm ranting.

The conflict I have is that if anyone has read my recent story, having to create names and personalities for a couple of Pokemon has caused me to keep adding on to them, including a couple of accessories.
Now before this, when it was just a name and personality, I came up with some thoughts of commissioning certain scenes or even working my way up to draw them myself but the Pokemon themselves are basically just the Pokemon, meaning I didn't really see them as OCs, just basic Pokemon I used for my story. As I mentioned, I've begun adding to them and given them particular accessories that's specific to them individually.
As minimal as it is and even I don't think I'd mind an OC if it really was just a Pokemon with one tiny accessory, but as I'm building on these characters, I'm starting to feel like they're technically becoming Pokemon OCs, which contradicts my own views on them.

Now I'll never go as far as making something that is a completely different colour, wears a specific full body outfit every time or is a fusion of Pokemon, but would a Pokemon with just a collar or necklace, really be considered an OC, or is more just a character as it's not exactly original, then again most Pokemon OCs aren't.

Spoiler alert here and now although let's be fair, even if you haven't seen, you should care that much.

So I just wanna talk about this and get somethings out about it all.
I went in with low expectations because if you don't expect much, you can't be disappointed. Sadly, it actually wasn't as bad as I thought it was at the start and that's why it was worse than I expected.
This movie could really have benefited from an R rating but that would never happen. There were people impaled on horns and heads crushed by monsters, yet there wasn't a single drop of blood. Sure, there'd be red stains on clothes from wounds but when it came down to it, there wasn't any real gore. On top of that, it played out like a horror movie for the first 30-40 minutes and that's just... I mean, for a movie adaptation, a different genre could be good and do its own thing instead of trying to do an inferior copy of the game, but after these 30-40 minutes, it reverts back to what the games follow so... it was completely pointless and dumb.

The two worlds thing, I think the movie took the whole, 'New World' from Monster Hunter World a little too literally and I'm not sure if that was a stupid creative idea or they literally didn't understand cuz they had no idea what the games were about.
The monsters though, they looked pretty good... from afar. But once you got closer to them, their CGI effects stood out so badly to the background, it looked like the quality of a B grade horror movie... which for 30-40 minutes, it technically was.
There was a hunter from the start that got knocked overboard and eventually teams up with Milla Jovovich's Artemis, I don't know if he had a name because the movie was so bad I couldn't really care to listen or pay attention to the dialouge. Yes I'm aware that in the world of Monster Hunter, they don't speak english so I'm ok with them not speaking english, but for fucks sake, throw in some sub titles. There were characters talking to each other in their language and you couldn't understand any of it because there wasn't even any context clues.
So anyway, let's just call this hunter, Hunter as that's what they decided on calling each other, Hunter and Artemis was Ranger.

So Hunter saw Ranger and her team driving across the sand and tried to warn them about the Diablos. They open fired on him because you know, American's are trigger happy and to be fair, he did send a threatening red chalk way over their heads.
So they get attacked by the Diablos and as they try to retreat, he tries to help from afar, having a never ending supply of explosive arrows apparently.
Then the team get attacked by Nerscylla and while they run, he tries to fight them off with more explosive arrows to give them a chance to escape before having to retreat himself.
Some cliche horror movie tropes later, some obvious Alien rip off scenes and Ranger survives and starts wandering around, looking for a way home.
While exploring a shipwreck, Hunter attacks her, ties her hands together and takes her back to his little camp.
Why? Who the fuck knows.
She cuts herself loose, attacks him and ties him up.
The two fight again, they fall, Hunter falls into the Nerscylla nest but Ranger pulls him out and they stop fighting.
Yeah, that's the dumbest shit, so far. Not to mention they bond over chocolate.
I don't know if Americans have only ever really had Hershey's chocolate, but that shit is disgusting and it would not bring two enemies together.

So blah blah, stuff happens before they run into Hunter's party where Ron Perlman plays Admiral.
Now although I agree he was probably the best choice for the part. The costume is done so badly, instead of the very tall and extremely strong Admiral he's meant to be, he looks like a short, fat, old man. He's not even taller than Ranger. I actually had a little hope for him being in this movie but it was quickly dashed.

Skip straight to the end, and I don't mean I'm skipping straight to the end, I mean it literaly skips any sort of traversing the land and just goes straight to the end. Here comes the thing everyone has been waiting for, the Rathalos. How do you kill a Rathalos, it's weakest right before it fires.
So basically watch the end of How to Train your Dragon and that's the end of Monster Hunter.
What's worse is Ranger returns home mid battle with the Rathalos but of course, that's not enough so the Rathalos also follows her home.
Now, here I started to have a little hope for because according to leaks over a year ago, I was under the impression there was going to be a fight between a Rathalos and Gore Magala in LA Airport. Seemed like the stupid shit this movie would bring but surprisingly it was just the Rathalos in the desert.
Now the army was there to recover Ranger before they were attacked by the Rathalos and open fire.
Now when the original team at the start of the movie shoot thousands of bullets at the Diablos and it does nothing. I can kinda accept that, Diablos's shell is something that should be hard and should be able to resist some simple bullets.
But a Rathalos shouldn't be able to take the kind of fire power it received without taking even a little damage. Ranger cut a whole in its wing with a tiny knife but gunfire from a military grade air craft does nothing?
There's guns in the world of Monster Hunter, they do kill monsters.

So they kill it via How to Train your Dragon methods and all is good, except the portal between worlds is still open and suddenly, a Gore Magala comes out of nowhere to fight them.
Ok, Gore Magala, now this is a rare monster, maybe a genuine fight with hunters vs monster would be interesting.
And roll credits.
Now that was infuriating but imagine how much worse it is when there's and end credit scene of them still fighting the Gore Magala while someone in a hood watches from afar.
I don't know about you but if this somehow gets approved for a sequel, someone really doesn't want to keep their money.

The movie was dumb, it involved America because apparently every action movie needs americans to come in and save the day. It had the potential, in spite of that but they still ruined it.
Character's were terrible, CGI was ugly and story, well writing more than one and a half pages might have been better.
My expectations were low but upon watching it, it raised them during certain parts only to show me I was right in the first place and made the disappointment all the more terrible.

I love Monster Hunter, been playing since Tri Ultimate but this movie was a disgrace. Don't waste your time.

I am absolutely over the battle pass crap.
It used to be a decent idea in order to get people to play for rewards but now its a paid piece of shit that expects you to pay nearly monthly for and they punish you if you dont.
Level up? heres a shitty reward, look what you could get if you paid though.

Level up? you guy nothing but you would unlock this if you paid for it.
Halo MCC did it perfectly. No pay walls, just rewards unlocked for playing the game, more time played, more rewards unlocked
even Fall guys did it right, although i have a feeling if you missed a season, you wouldnt be able to go back and unlock those rewards which is a step down from MCC.
Fortnite, COD, so many app games now, they all have a pay wall and fuck every single one of them.

Short answer, No.
Long answer, No fucking way.

Lets start with the biggest issue with the game. Over half of the nearly 900 pokemon are not in the game. I don't mean they're not in the game that you can't catch them, I mean, you can't transfer all those pokemon you've got sitting in your Pokebank. Sun and Moon didn't have the complete National Dex, not sure why they even called it a national dex when it was clearly not, but at least you could transfer all your pokemon over and still use them. That was on a 3DS, now on console, nearly half of what was available on a handheld. Just pathetic.

Now the second biggest issue. GTS, remember that? Global Trade System where if you were looking for a pokemon, say a Sobble, you could breed some Scorbunnys and put one up asking for a Sobble in return, you'd leave it, come back later and find that its been traded. Such a useful system. Well fuck that right off cuz instead, we have random trades. Yes you can trade directly to a friend, so long as you have some way of communicating with them such as discord or bringing your switches together. But say you want to trade one of your bred starters for one of the others, you have to open for a random trade, randomly be paired with someone, then put up a pokemon for trade before you can see what they are offering. Can you tell them what you're looking for? No, why would that ever be an issue. The trade system is basically a dumber surprise trade system that no one will ever use unless directly with friends.

So how do you get version exclusives if you don't have any friends who have the other version? By buying it yourself. I've gotten through every game so far with the need for only one version. Any version exclusives, I'd just catch myself my version exclusives and put it up on GTS for the opposing exclusive. But there's no GTS so can't do that anymore. Meanwhile, rarer exclusives, such as the version exclusive legendaries, I usually managed to get the opposing exclusive by offering some spare legendaries or mythics when I transfer from my pokebank. Even though it'll be a few months, that's usually my method. But hang on, I can't do that because not only are just about all my spare legendaries and mythics nontransferable due to the game having half the national dex, but even if I could, who am I going to trade with? My friends want to keep their exclusive legendaries meaning I can't trade for them at all without getting my own second copy... And thats just a sad attempt at money grabbing.

There is nothing special about this game. Sure the graphics are updated but its only because it's now on your TV rather than your tiny 3DS screens. The story is as basic as any other, Dynamaxing is as interesting as Z-moves, as in not at all and shiny hunting. Thought seeing shinies in the overworld in Let's go Pikachu/Eevee was a good idea? Well they scrapped that so if you're shiny hunting, you better walk into every pokemon if you want to actually find out if it's shiny or not.

This game is nothing more than a huge step back after multiple teeny steps forward and would heavily recommend against getting it.
Unfortunately for me, I've had a complete national dex since X and Y so for my own sanity, I need to keep up to date with new gens to add to the collection in my pokebank and that infuriates me because I can't stop now after all these years.

If you've never played a pokemon main series game or you're not a collector who is unable to stop, definitely don't buy this, it is a waste of money.

I saw the movie nearly a week ago now and I've just constantly gone over some things in my head that's been bothering me, was contemplating whether or not I should post a journal or not but I am now.

Firstly, let me just say that the animation work is amazing. It's so smooth and no characters ever look like they just stand perfectly still, even in the background. There was only one moment where It felt like Twilight was stone stiff but only for a moment. I must admit, I seemed to notice when Tempest's eyes opened each time, there was something odd about that, it just seemed too common when it shouldn't have really be noticed at all. Anyway, animation, top stuff.

Plot... this is where my issue lies. As a writer, I get more attached to the story of a game/movie than anything else. Now for the target audience, they wouldn't care but for me, It just seemed so forced. With seven seasons of built up lore and characters, there were many options to combat the Storm King that were just passed over.
For one, Discord is around. Considering you see his shadow in the start of the credits, listening to Songbird singing during so there's no reason to believe he wasn't at the party at the start of the movie. Yet when the invasion started, he could have jumped in, started fighting them off. Of course he'd have been too powerful for them which is why he would have been hit with the stone orbs and turned to stone again, could have gotten a joke out of that as he was turning into stone.

Then there's the fact that with 4 Alicorns, the supposedly strongest of all in Equestria and only one actually attempts to do anything. Cadence tries to block the stone orb which turns out was not possible, so fair enough that she was caught. But then instead of attempting her own escape, Celestia decides to instruct Luna on what to do, leaving herself open to being captured and not even keep her eye on the actual threat. And then Luna flies straight... did she graduate from the Prometheus school of flying away from things?

Now, lets say that they actually put up a fight but were eventually captured due to the number of enemies, I would be happy with that. But then Twilight and her friends must travel to an unknown land to find someone who they didn't even get the full name of or their location. And why? Because Celestia said to to Luna. Why couldn't they have gone to the badlands and got Ember and the dragons to fight the Storm King's army? Would have been there and back much faster so the Storm King himself would probably not have arrived by then. Also, odds are Twilight wouldn't have been captured so his staff wouldn't have been powered regardless. Instead seven seasons of content were completely expelled from the movie.

Yes of course getting the dragons to help would have made it too easy and ended the movie. But at least acknowledge the possibility and have that little Grubber guy who's always with Tempest at least between scenes just say. "We got the reports that the Griffons have been captured and the last of the dragons are being round up" You know, at least acknowledging they exist but would be unhelpful to the protagonists.

Now the final fight. It was decent and all, but when 3/4 Alicorns are captured in the initial attack, I find it hard to believe five ponies, five anthro parrots, a hippogrif, a baby dragon and a cat could fight off the entire army. What this basically tells me is that the Storm King's army basically only consists of Tempest and that without her, his army is useless which is why its even worse when he betrays her because its the common plot, bad guy betrays second in command, they turn on bad guy, bad guy loses. How original.

Now all that's left... I think, is the weird thing they had going on with Songbird. For some reason, they made it out like she was the main character of the movie, that everyone was going to this party, only for her and then they threw in this one scene, when Twilight is captured and pulled through Canterlot, of just her staring at Songbird in her cage and just absolutely losing it, acting like, 'oh no, Songbird is in a cage, everything is over, there's no coming back from this now.'

She is just a celebrity Cameo that will more than likely never appear again who was only added to attract more people to the movie. Personally, yeah, the character is kinda cute, but no, I never actually liked the artist or her music, so for me, this weird, acting like this character is so important was really odd.

I think that's about it... Bit of a hit and miss with the songs. Some were decent, some were eh, Really liked 'Open up your eyes.' Very catchy but I felt like the animation to Tempest's backstory was lazy. Would have benefited from having the animation of the movie, especially because the song it's shown in has Tempest telling Twilight to grow up, only to show this, crayon looking animation of what happened to her horn... I don't know what went through the thought process on that one.

Sorry... I was a little uncertain about this from the start and it's actually just made me really mad than excited to write.

I bought a Wii U because I wanted to play my Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate game online with people, as well as some games that are coming out soon.
Then I find it wont connect, I go online all over the place, follow everyones instructions to manual set up, I put in everything like everyone says and it just wont work!

Does anyone know anything different that can help?

yep, christmas is over this year.
It was as boring yesterday as the fake christmas is at the end of this year.

Ok, so, yesterday, got my new video card/ram and after looking at how to put it in, it seemed fairly simple enough. I opened my computer cover, slid them into their slots and closed it up. Computer actually turned on so I was certain I did it all right. Went to log on and screen was a small resolution. Logging in, I went to change the resolution but only got the option to go so big instead of my usual 1920x1200. With nothing else to do, I installed the driver from the cd that came with the video card. Everything worked out, screen readjusted itself and my computer was running much better for the first 20 mins...

Then I got a blue screen, thought nothing of it as i've gotten it a couple of times prior. I restarted but then I got a blue screen for opening specific programs or even just got one for idling more than 5 minutes. Unsure of what I did after trying to update the driver and running disk cleans and scans, the computer started working fine for several hours without a blue screen. I put it on hibernate as I went to sleep as I do every night but this morning when I woke up, it started to do blue screens again constantly.

Giving up, I removed the graphics card and put in my old one. I left the extra ram in there as I dont think there is a problem with having more ram than I need currently. Talking with other people, we came to the conclusion (The same as many forum chats of my same problem) That i needed a new PSU as mine wasnt high enough.

Deciding to wait for it to arrive by using my old card, I've been constantly getting programs crashing on me when they havnt ever before, still getting to many blue screens than I should although less than the new graphics card gave but still 1 too many per day. The only difference to my computer now than last week is the extra ram. Could that be causing my problem or did I do something in the change of components.

I need someones help badly.

Dont get me wrong, I actually quite enjoyed the final.
So many great songs and such a good way to end the season. At first I was a little iffy about Twilight becoming and Alicorn until I saw it but thats what this journal is about.

The image of Alicorn Twilight was released a month or so ago and thats where I should have started to rage but didnt see the issue until the episode. Only now have I bothered to come out with it though.

The season promo showed little snippets from the season, showing the adventures they get into like rainbow dash with the wonderbolts academy which was something I personally was looking forward to even though I actually dont like RD that much, it was my favourite episode of her. Getting off topic but the promo says that one little pony will realize her true destiny. I instantly thought that came back to when Celestia first met Twilight when she was taking the test for the school and Celestia saw a strong power in Twilight that would be great if controlled. I saw this as the answer to what that power would do and then the biggest secret of the entire series was blown.

That scene when Twilight returns to ponyville and spreads her wings for the first time. The way the music plays an the way everpony (And spike) was shocked, it should have shocked every single brony who was watching it at the time. It should have been the biggest moment in mlp: fim history where every brony would be on the edge of their seats, full of excitement for the new twist.

Unfortunatly, this is not the case as every single brony knew it was going to happen before the episode came close to airing.

Now I dont have the complete facts. But what I've heard is that the image was released so that hasbro could start selling merchandise of the alicorn version of twilight.
If that truly is the case, then FUCK YOU HASBRO! You sold out the biggest moment in brony life to make some more millions on top of your billions. I dont want MLP to end but I truly hope it does before Hasbro ruins another moment.

So my sister has been giving me lifts to work on weekends as my shift are earlier then before public transport as I lack a license still.
All good and everything, I appreciate it, but today, I got home, and my mum says she got a speeding ticket coming home after dropping me off today... and that it's my fault.

So... playing with my mare, , I needed a bathroom break.
Went, doing my thing when I hear a clunk.
I thought it was the shower, something was wrong with the pipes, then above me, I see a mouse, sticking its head up over the lights.
Our bathroom lights consist of 4 heater lights and a normal light in the middle. Above all of them is a fan.
How the mouse got past the fan, I have no idea but it decides to jump out and into the shower which is closed off from every side as the door was shut.

So, got a towel, chased it around the shower for a bit before it ran over my foot, (Was wearing flip flops so bare foot) and escaped the shower.
The bathroom was closed so I managed to keep it contained and safe from our 3 cats as I chased it around the bathroom for a minute.
Finally had it cornered as it tried to climb the corner, literally scurrying on the corner for a couple seconds before falling back to the ground.

I managed to catch it and bring it outside.
Honestly, I wanted to keep it but didn't think it would be safe in a house of cats, and nowhere to put it anyway.
I let it out in the grass as it didn't seem to want to move, I think it was a house mouse.

Eventually hid in the grass before I left.

Birthday today.

1 week into quitting V and I bought a four pack and drank 1L.
Each day at work, I've been getting less and less work to do with more and more time, yet I still struggle to get out on time, thats been since after I quit.
Today, I had most work in shortest period of time Ive had to do, wasn't going to make it at all, drank some V, only 10 mins over.
It might just be a coincidence, but I need V to work. It's my fuel.

Day 4 is about over and I've yet to have a sweet drop of V.
I've noticed changes at work. I seem a little slower, time seems to fly right past.
Normally, I could close in 1hr 30mins. Had 2hrs and still almost was too late.
Throat feels sore each morning, but oddly, only at work when I get there.
On days off now and never really drink V during, so acting fine.

Look at me, posting updates on crap no ones interested in. ^.^

No I'm not quitting FA. Without FA and my need to interact with furries, my life would have no meaning.

Over the past year and a half, I have been drinking at least 1+ cans of V energy drinks every day.
I love the taste, but been thinking about it and probably not too good, especially when the limit states only one per day.
So, right now, drinking my last can and trying to avoid drinking any more for as long as I can.
Hopefully I'll start losing weight again and even save a few thousand dollars so... yay... Damn I'm gonna miss V.
