Good VS Evil theme has been extended till next weekend, Saturday 14th, because i won't be able to put an issue together, so instead of putting it together in the middle of the week, its better to extend the deadline for another 7 days.

A small update: New mag thumbnails, to make things more colorful!

It was a tight match but in the end theme FINAL FANTASY won!

Next week's theme is anything final fantasy related. Interpret it as the game, or if someone wants he can do his/her own version of "final fantasy" if you know what i mean.

Issue 10 of Art Jam magazine will be up in a few, and here is a little status update.

Issue 10 lasted more than the usual one week deadlines, to see if more people would submit if they are given more time to complete their submissions. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. Even though we attracted new people to participate, more than one week deadline simply loses the consistency of these art jams. That is why AJM will be back on it's one week deadlines, in order for it to be more dynamic and have people that feeling of consistency and that their work is being published every week, as motivation to create more fun, lively images, as well as to improve their skills if that's their goal.
Wonderful pieces were submitted in this issue, thank you all who participated and i hope you still will, in the future jams.

Also don't forget to suggest/vote for the next theme, in the comments below! Lets see those great ideas that youd like to see everyone do in their own unique way.

The deadline for the theme SCI FI has been extended to next Sunday, April 17th.

Sorry guys for the lack of this crucial update, my work has been kicking my butt!

Anyways the votes are in and the next theme will be SCI-FI. You can draw anything related to this, so show me what you got. The deadline for this will be:

April 9th, 11:59pm PST. Yes thats almost 2 weeks to finish your submission so make it count! Since the deadline is extended to 2 weeks, if we get more submissions in 2 weeks period, than in the previous issues, where it was 1 week per submission, then i will keep 2 weeks as a new submission period for the future issues.

another week has passed, and i will be putting all the entries into the mag right now. And here is a small announcement/experiment.

Suggest the next theme, and dont forget to vote in case you like a theme someone else suggested by giving him/her a +1. Due to suggestions, the next theme to enter will last 2 weeks, instead of 1. I will try to spam you with reminders during those two weeks.

Voting will be closed tomorrow, in about 24 hours.

It was a tight battle between Movies and Horror.

I think this theme could appeal to many people so go nuts and be creative!

just a small reminder: today is the last day for the theme COFFEE. So far i got some pretty awesome submissions and i am hoping to get some more as the theme is pretty awesome.
So, send me something! Doodle, drawing, speedpaint, write!

Also a small update on the magazine itself:
In the previous issue i had some problems with the layout design, or to be more specific with the buttons. No matter if they are big or small, they aren't practical enough and they get in the way of displaying your work, especially text submissions. In that case i have decided to only leave the FA page (or website, since some people aren't comfortable with posting on FA for their own reasons) button for three reasons: 1) If someone wants to see more of your work he will only need to click on the FA page link, as there is a huge chance that all other information will be included on your profile; 2) This is primarily a FA magazine, displayed on FA only, and focusing on FA artists, so there is no need for external links; 3) There won't be more clutter on the magazine page than needed.

Hi guys, and another week has passed, this time with the theme "SPRING". Entries that i received I'll be putting in the magazine and it will be published later today.

Ok i seriously need to remind myself as i constantly think that i announce these themes.

Im very sorry for the delay but the votes are in, and the theme for this week is SPRING. Draw anything that comes to your mind when it comes to spring. Full colored, sketch or even a doodle will do. It can be touching or fun, romantic or gloomy, anything you think about Spring.

Deadline is this Saturday March 5th 11:59PM, issue 06 will be published on Sunday.

Week 5 submissions are in and i will be working on the Issue 05 for the theme Fursona as a robot. Thank you everyone who participated i hope you had fun!

In this issue i will be adding more clear buttons to reach the artist, placing buttons on pages of artists that gave me links to their website, FA page and FA submission, and they will be placed in the upper corners instead of how it used to be (lower corners).

Sorry for the late announcement, since FA was offline most of the day yesterday. So the theme for this week's art jam is FURSONA AS A ROBOT

Just a quick thought. In these art jams, your entries don't have to be super polished. In normal art jams artists have an hour or two to complete their drawings, and not a whole week. The reason why these art jams are "hosted" and last a week is just to have enough people interested in case they wanna doodle something and submit it to the mag. I understand that most of you want to put 110% into the drawings that go here, and i really do appreciate the support, but if you don't have the time this week or any other, you can just slap a 15 minute doodle and send it. No one is going to judge you if you submit a sketch.

So in the future keep in mind that with this magazine its about you having fun in these weekly challenges.~
