YCHs to come soon!
General | Posted 7 years agoHello all!
In the next few days I will be trialing YCHs. They are something that I have been wanting to work on for a long while now but wasn't sure how popular they would be. I am looking for some feedback regarding these:
1) Would you be interested in YCH's from me?
2) Would it help to have an out right buy option?
I will be making my little pony style YCH's and anthro YCH's and hope that you will enjoy my work and themes that are offered.

2018 Update
General | Posted 8 years agoHello everyone!
Firstly I'd like to say thank you to everyone who commissioned me at the end of the last year! You all really helped the situation and I am now clear of it. I am aiming to finish the last two commissions owing from them shortly. I have also closed commissions for a while until I reopen them later in the year.
My health is improving, I have an appointment with a specialist in March which I hope to go well. In the mean time Pascal has begun his training and has received his vest as a service dog. We have also a few days ago adopted a rescue dog named Bonnie. She's slightly older than Pascal but helps with group training.
I hope all your years new start has been good and look forward to producing more art than ever this year.

Huge debt and other mixups
General | Posted 8 years agoSo most of you know that I have a chronic illness that results in intense pain for months on end and chronic fatigue. Essentially my immune system destroys my own organs and blood. Because of this I haven’t been able to study, so I had to move states back to be in a more supportive environment away from study. So. I don’t qualify for government payments anymore, and I can’t get work when I can’t look after myself most days. Just got a debt for over $1300 from the lovely folks over at centrelink for overpayments. I’ve appealed the decision but that could take months to be resolved and bills need a payin’.
I’m opening commissions and removing any slot restrictions. Order as many as you would like, I’ll be using the money to pay for rent, food and medication until such a time as centrelink decides I am worthy of living once more.
I draw pretty much everything! Comment on here, message or email me if you’d like a quote. If you can’t afford it no sweat! Thanks for everyone’s support regardless, whether physical, social, mental, financial or otherwise.

Absence and life/puppy update!
General | Posted 8 years agoHello everybody!
I'd first like to apologize for the 3 week long absence - my illness flared up in my sinus and jaw so my face has just been constant agony for a few weeks, that has caused delays in works being able to be completed. But for now, it has healed enough that anti-inflammatory drugs I am on cover the pain. It was only a short attack this time, sometime they can last for months so I count myself very lucky!
In additional news, we have visited our breeder over the weekend and selected our beautiful shiba boy! Below are photos:
https://68.media.tumblr.com/7ac64c4.....l5ho1_1280.jpg
https://68.media.tumblr.com/296b905.....l5ho2_1280.png
He is 5 1/2 weeks in these photos, meaning he has his shots next week and he comes home on the 29th of May! He will be registered to their kennel as well as receiving his pedigree and vaccination/vet history. We are very excited!
Due to his nearing arrival, all my commissions are currently open, so please do not hesitate to contact me if you would be interested in some work!
For now, I wish you all a happy week, and hope it brings you much joy.

General | Posted 8 years agoHello to new followers!
I appreciate all of you taking the time to watch, favourite and comment on all my works. I really appreciate it. I'm trying to get more into drawing on a consistent basis after stopping for a few years because of illness and a very stressful time in my life. I hope you all continue to support me as I head forward and make more art in the future.

Commission terms of service 2017
General | Posted 9 years agoHere are my TOS for this years set of commissions, if there are any questions please feel free to comment on this journal, you can find my prices here:https://www.furaffinity.net/view/22649640/
General Commission information
I am a digital artist and often stream works in progress through art streams on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays occasionally more through the week. I focus on bringing characters to life in everyday situations or in a high fantasy setting. Characters reading books, drinking coffee, drawing, planting or relaxing are all things I love drawing.
Please email me any requests for commissions at Taemin_Hawke[at]outlook.com with the subject as [Commission slot request] or [Commission question] for clarifications.
For the sake of keeping commissions simple and done in a timely fashion, as a standard I have some limits on what I can get done:
Will do:
Furries/Anthro
Fanart (Undertale, My Little Pony, Pokemon, Guild Wars 2, Borderlands, etc.
High fantasy themes (Armor, weaponry, castles, capes, ornate carvings, mounts, famillars)
Some sci-fi (Well referenced mechs, weapons, guns, armor sets)
Cities
Scenes inspired by nature
Won’t do:
Vehicles
Character Design
Character reference sheets
NSFW (some gore okay)
Fetishes
Everything else can be negotiated, just ask upon first contact whether I can accommodate your requests at that time.
I strive for a very quick turn around after approval on the sketch. I do not hold commission slots, when contacting please have all references supplied and information sent with your original email as this will greatly help me plan so your commission is done promptly. If you respond quickly to any messages I may send for clarifications or updates the commission should be completed within a month, however if you do have a specific date extra charges may apply, please be sure to include the date when requesting a commission slot.
Types of commissions and prices (USD)
All my commissions are fully rendered in a painterly style and I do not offer sketches, or colour roughs separately. Images will all come with a simple background – usually nature inspired but you can request simple backgrounds (eg. Bedroom, meadow) etc. Complex backgrounds can be done but will require you request them when discussing if you would like a slot but come as a standard on full body commissions.
Payment Methods
I accept payment through paypal invoices only.
Account email: Taemin_Hawke[at]outlook.com
Payment Is required once I begin work on your commission. If two weeks go by without communication and the payment has not be supplied, the commission will be canceled and the slot will be reopened to others. I will send an invoice for half or full payment (after it is agreed upon) to your paypal email included in the contact email.
If the value of the commission is close to $100 or over, partial payment is available. This can be negotiated within the email for requesting a commission. I am flexible with payment options, eg. Half on start, final half after completion.
Refunds
If, for any reason you need to cancel the commission part way through I am able to give a partial refund depending on how much work was done and how long the commission had been in progress.
If however, I cancel the commission at any stage I will offer you a full refund.
If you are unsatisfied with the work, I do not offer a refund. Instead I stress to please speak up if you would like to change anything at the many progress reports during the commission. I will email you via the email supplied or your preferred method (eg. Notes on DA, or messages on FA). There are 3 approval stages, the initial sketch, the colour design and background sketch, and the final appraisal. If you would like something changed, please inform me.
Procedure:
1. Please send me an email with the subject title [Commission request]. Within this email please provide references and a brief paragraph of your character or the idea that you would like. Please also include the style of commission you would like, preferences on background and a due date if you have one.
2. After I receive the email I will look over the request, I may reject it due to complexity or negotiate a different idea in order to make us both happy to go ahead with the commission, in the case of having all slots filled, I will ask if you would like to be placed on the waiting list. I may also reject a request do to time restraints but I will inform you specifically why in my reply email.
If you are successful, we will discuss price and where the price comes from (eg. Wings, extra heads, complicated clothing).
3. Once the price is decided upon, I shall invoice you either a partial amount, or full amount and begin to work on the sketch. Once payment is confirmed I shall show you the preliminary sketch, and we may discuss any changes if you are unhappy with the idea. If you would like a resketch I will happily redo it, you may have three sketches to choose from before needing to pick one to continue the commission.
4. After a sketch has been confirmed, I will send through a progress report and 2-3 colour variations for you to choose.
5. The final rendering begins, once completed the image is sent to you depending on how you paid.
A) If you paid Half& Half I will invoice you for the second half and send a low resolution watermarked version. Once the second half of the payment is cleared I will send a full resolution unwatermarked version to your email we have been conversing via. You may also request the PSD file of the image.
B) If you paid in full at the beginning you will receive the full sized fully rendered image as soon as it is completed via email or private message of your preferred website.
Now it’s yours!
Everything has been finalized and you now hold your commission, what happens next? That’s up to you, every piece I make will contain my signature and the year. If you do post it elsewhere, please do credit me. You may edit the image, use it for banners, badges, print it out etc. As long as it is not being used for commercial use, go nuts!
