Posted 3 years agoI’m wondering if it would be alright to start posting NSFW art on here (because I do draw it on occasion). My policy has always been “If I wouldn’t show it to my mom, it shouldn’t be seen by strangers online”, but I feel like if I put this much work into drawing it, why not show it to somebody?

Love Bites Summary
Posted 3 years agoLove Bites is one of the two original stories I’m working on, and I thought I’d share the summary here. Love Bites is a parody/sendup to 50s B- and Monster Movies, but with a subversion towards the end.
Mary-Lou McCormack is a sheep who is enrolled in a prestigious university in 1957, and seemingly has it all. She’s the girlfriend of Bryce, a wolf and the school’s star athlete, and is a member of a popular girl clique.
However, the reality is that Bryce is abusive of Mary, and Mary has closeted romantic feelings for women.
One evening, after jumping out of Bryce’s car during a bad date, Mary runs off into town and hides in an auto repair shop where she meets Teisel, a greaser vampire bat who is working on her motorcycle. Hearing Mary’s story, Teisel gives her a ride back to school and warns her to be careful. Mary finds herself smitten with this mysterious woman.
The next day, the school is abuzz with news of a girl being found dead on campus, with two holes in her neck. A nerdy skunk named Jasper speaks up claiming it’s a vampire attack, and uses one of his comic books as evidence.
He gets laughed right out of there.
As Mary tries to continue with her life, she keeps thinking about Teisel, and sneaks off to see her one night. The two spend time getting to know each other, and Mary’s crush on Teisel grows. They share a kiss together at a drive-in. As they head back to campus, they witness a figure attacking one of the girls in Mary’s group. The two women meet back up with Jasper, believing he may be right about vampires being afoot.
Jasper introduces the girls to his friend, the opossum Professor Stanley Fitzgerald, who is fascinated with vampires, and the four discuss a plan of action for capturing this creature. Bryce beats Mary when he learns about her kissing Teisel, threatening to kill her, before the supposed vampire attacks Bryce.
In the end, it’s revealed that Stanley is the killer, who was trying to use the students as subjects for his experiment: genetically engineered vampires. He confesses to the deaths, but swears he had nothing to do with Bryce’s attack.
That was Teisel, who was a real vampire all along. Mary decides that monster or not, Teisel is the woman she wants to be with, and she allows Teisel to bite her, thus turning Mary into a vampire, so they can be together forever.

My name is Helen, though I also go by Hel and Nellie. I’ve always loved media centered around animals, and thusly have grown up to be a furry of sorts. I’m not super deep into the fandom, but I love seeing the artwork that comes out of it. I’m hoping to be more active on here this year and make some new friends.
