Recent events on FA as well as many other factors in my own life have prompted this - Over the course of 2014 I have big plans to primarily shift to fursuit construction and costuming work as my main focus, and starting fresh on a new site for this just feels right. I will still be drawing and posting personal 2d art to Weasyl and Tumblr occasionally, but it will no longer be my primary source of commission income, and 2d art commissions will remain closed for the most part. (Outstanding commissions from 2013 still need to be addressed and refunded, apologies again to those that are still waiting. :C I haven't forgotten you, I promise!)

I'm really excited to move forward and make and share lots of new things in the near future, and I hope you'll consider joining me on Weasyl if you're not over there already. See you around, FA!

My birthday WAS GREAT I went to the Point Defiance zoo with friends and did lots of fun stuff. It was a great day. ;A;

But then pretty much immediately after getting back I got sick as hell. Whoops, germy snotty zoo kids. I'm still trying to get over this awful cold so work has pretty much ground to a standstill. Hey everyone! Sorry for being totally off the grid here lately. ;p I haven't had any art to post since I haven't been drawing much at all lately - most of this whole year I've been flipflopping between struggling with one health issue or another, between ongoing carpal tunnel/RSI in my drawing wrist and pulled muscles in my lower back. So, even when I do draw I'm really out of practice and I haven't been happy at ALL with my work quality. e_e I've been able to work ok on crafting and merchandise things, since I can work on that while standing or moving around, and the motions involved aren't so hunched-over-repetitive like drawing, which kills me in an hour or less.

For those waiting on commissions that have been hanging forever, I'm unfortunately going to have to refund what's left on my queue. It really, REALLY sucks for me to resort to this but I don't want to leave people waiting any more when I've been unable to deliver any art lately. I've kept track of those that I owe (my queue is visible here, please note me if I owe you something not listed there), and I'll be sending refunds in chunks (a couple of people at a time) throughout the rest of this month.

I'm really sorry to everyone for being unable to deliver on work this year. :( Health and life just really wound up biting me in the butt.

$10 each, sketch pages to fill a mixed-paper, hand-bound sketchbook made by me! The sketchbook's theme is "Monsters & Ladies"... That can include Monsters, Ladies, Monster Ladies... any combination or single subject thereof! Once the sketchbook is filled, it will be auctioned!

Cleared out a TON from my gallery that was either old or undesirable or one thing or another. Everything that was deleted was put in that .rar for your saving convenience.

I deleted all of my hyper smut art, but just so you know, I will still be drawing that stuff in the future on commission or for friends. It'll be sent to the recipients privately, after which they'll have permission to repost it wherever they want if they'd like, as long as credit is given (like most of my commission work in the future will be, if it's not polished and/or fully rendered).

Honestly I wanted to delete my whole gallery since it's all old and poop but since I can barely draw lately because of my wrist, it would probably be empty for a long time. (⊙‿⊙) gomen.

Sorry to everyone for being so MIA around here lately... I've been really struggling with getting work done lately because of my wrist causing problems. It started as what I thought was carpal tunnel, but the pain's been horribly persistent, and keeps coming back every time I try to draw anything. Unfortunately bad wrist problems run in my family, I guess I'm just finally getting my share. I have a brace, I have over-the-counter pain medication, I do wrist stretches and etc etc. Still, lately I can only manage to draw for an hour or two a day before it hurts too much to even hold a pen. It's REALLY frustrating, and the fact that I can't seem to do anything about it to make it better has been really discouraging and depressing too. Drawing is really my only means of financial support (and something I NEED to do to stay happy, too), and with that taken away, well. :T

I am really grateful for all my waiting commissioners being so patient already... but I wanted to say why production has been so shitty around here. I'm keeping up work as well as I can, but it's been at a really abysmal pace. I'm sorry again, if any of you wanted to withdraw or change what you wanted or the like (since it's been so long, I realize characters/ideas can change), please tell me!

Regular commish queue is still closed while I get caught up, but I'm doing these as a "break" (traditional media is a lot easier on my wrist, which has been hurting. Plus I need SOME weekly income while in backlog land hahah... ;; ) A couple will be finished by the end of the night, the rest definitely within 48 hours!

I made some changes to my TOS this morning (https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B-.....jFpSndQc0YzNkk) to try to cut out relatively unnecessary bulk text. I removed the section on private commissions which read as follows:

"h. PRIVATE COMMISSIONS – Pieces may be commissioned anonymously, and I will post “commissioned by anonymous” along with any uploads of the finished piece. If you wish to keep a commission completely private, there is a $25 fee. By requesting image privacy, I agree to never post the commission online anywhere, or otherwise use it in future prints, sales, or distribution. You MAY NOT post the image online or otherwise share a private piece. If the commissioned piece is EVER posted online or otherwise distributed, by you or anyone else, this agreement is broken and I regain all rights to future usage and distribution of said image, and NO fee refund will be issued.

I thought it was just too convoluted and possibly risky. :S Sorry!

I also edited out my ENTIRE "acceptable content" list to simply state "I reserve the right to refuse any subject matter (adult or otherwise)." Having a big huge list of won't-draw fetishes was kind of silly when I can just simply say "sorry, won't draw that". :U ...This is also because I've been trying to tailor my docs to be presentable to non-FA crowds, so, lol. Adding a little discretion.

These changes were because I've been REALLY trying to condense my TOS to be more readable... since it seems like quite a few past commissioners haven't been reading it. :/ Oh well, I do my best.

I've been feeling a lot of "blargh my art is poop" lately, so of course that means TRYING HARDER AND NOT BEING A WEENIE. There's a lot that I need to improve on (as always, for the rest of my life, until I fall into a hole and die!), but for the purpose of this journal I want to focus on ANATOMY. So critique the hell out of me, please! You don't need to give me long-winded responses if you don't want, just bulleted things or ideas are fine.

ANYWAY, PROMPTS (if you want - don't have to answer these, could just say what's on your mind!):

~What about the way I draw anatomy (of any kind - humanoid/anthro, animal, fantasy, a particular species) do I CONSISTENTLY GET WRONG?
~What about the way I draw anatomy do I CONSISTENTLY GET RIGHT? (IE, things should be mindful of being appealing, and maybe not change too much in the future)
~Concerning anatomy, what specifically would you suggest I do to IMPROVE IN THE FUTURE? (IE, poses/bodytypes/species/etc to focus on, books or resources you think would help me especially)
~If you want to focus your critique on one piece in particular rather than generalities, be my guest! Redlining is welcome, too!

I'd prefer to focus on stuff I've done within the last year (so mostly everything in this account), because critiquing something in particular that's older than that might be kinda pointless if I don't draw quite like that anymore, haha.

I response to the recent FA drama (http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4343379/) I wanted to give my two bits:

Yeah, I'm not surprised by it! Basically this is just a MUCH more extreme case of exactly what FA has put me and overlai through in the past - punishing the innocent and protecting thieves and criminals. When certain individuals in the past stole from the both of us and were called out, Lai and I were the ones issued a warning while the thieves were the ones defended. All this because of the administration's spineless "zero-tolerance on harassment" standpoint... Even if the "harassment" is alerting your peers about scumbags, where otherwise they're sheltered and protected by admin-imposed anonymity. >:( And I think that's pretty fucked up!

It's of course why overlai left, and frankly, I'd be gone too if I weren't so financially reliant on the visibility I have here.

I honestly think the current "no harassment" standpoint makes a highly poisonous environment to host a community under, if simply standing up for what's morally right and trying to stop thieves and criminals makes the admins target YOU as the bad guy.

IT'S JUST REALLY REALLY FUCKED UP WOW.
